Great hotel to stay at for a ski getaway, location is perfect as the ski slopes are right behind it. Depending on your booking they offer a 20% discount with Thaiwoo Ski Resort where you’ll go to get all the ski equipments if you don’t have your own including ski suit. I bought a 3 day ski pass which costs 1173 RMB plus a deposit of 2200 RMB (immediately returned on the last day of skiing). The room is like an apartment, kitchen area with all the necessary amenities to cook except pots and utensils (bring your own if you plan to do that), living room, bathroom and bedroom plus a small balcony. Plus also a washing machine. Btw, to get to the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus from Taizicheng train station, just follow the signs for the bus and which one stops at A&B Hotel. Check the schedule for departure times as the go according to train arrival and departure times. The Taiwu town area has plenty of restaurants and shops and the ski slopes closes at 4:30 pm.

The hotel is close to Jinshanling Great Wall entrance so it's very convenient to stay one night and be able to see sunset and sunrise on the great Wall. Obviously there are not many connections with Beijing, just a bus running on weekends. The closest station is Gubeikou, about 30km away. They offered us a taxi but it was too expensive. Better to use didi app on your own. They have a restaurant inside the hotel so you can have lunch or dinner there. The room was comfortable and clean with all toiletries and a balcony.

I have been to lots of hotels where the use of the hot pool and sauna are already included when booking a room so this is something that shocked me. The hotel is clean but the sofa seems to have bugs. I just sit in their sofa and felt so itchy. Their bed and services are quite good. Location is perfect, near restaurants, convenience store and easy to reach. Breakfast has lots of options.

The interior of the hotel is in a garden style with carved beams and painted buildings, which is beautiful. The room is warm and comfortable, and it feels like home. If I have the opportunity to visit Chengde in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

I came here because I saw this place on Ctrip. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance and the entertainment facilities were suspended. Fortunately, the weather was good, so I just took some photos in the town. The environment of the hotel was really great. It was the best I had ever stayed in online. It was designed exactly as I thought. I will come again next time and try the hot springs and skiing.

As we were not familiar with the road, we took the wrong road and our car tires accidentally got stuck in the thick snow and couldn't start. We went to communicate with the hotel front desk. The front desk brother Wang Jianting stepped forward and helped us shovel snow from under the wheels with an iron, and later helped push the car. The room we were given only had a small window but it had a nice view and comfortable bed. Only complaint is that the room is a bit dated and had strong smell of cigarettes even though we asked for non smoking. Afternoons tea is a nice feature
