4-Star Hotels in Qinghai, China

We had a fantastic stay with my family at this hotel. We got 2 rooms and at check in time, they upgraded us for free to better rooms with views of Qinghai lake from our balcony! The hotel and rooms were spacious, spotless and in excellent condition. The hotel is quite new (opened in 2023). About 3-4 mins drive from the main Qinghai lake scenic spot so fantastic location. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which have a lot of sheep , Yak, goats etc grazing on them. So you get both the mountain feeling as well as the lake feeling and it really helps soothe the soul and make one feel relaxed. The service of the hotel staff was always excellent, warm and attentive. The food was delicious and halal!!! We were so happy about this as we could enjoy delicious Qinghai cuisine worry free :-). Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back to this hotel on our future trip to Qinghai lake.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, offering helpful recommendations for dining and local attractions based on our requests. I booked this stay using one of Ctrip's prepaid room packages, which was excellent value and very convenient to arrange. The room itself was very spacious and included a mini-fridge (though you need to plug it in yourself to activate it). Despite being on the 21st floor, the shower had fantastic pressure and easily adjustable temperature, making for a very comfortable experience. The bedding was also quite comfortable, though I did notice some visible dust on the decorative pillow. The soundproofing was decent, but the room door was quite heavy, leading to a rather loud thud when closed. On the positive side, the view from the room was excellent. The hotel offers a well-maintained self-service laundry room with three washers and three dryers, as well as a well-equipped gym. Perhaps due to the high altitude, the gym was rarely busy. Both facilities require key card access and are conveniently located on the 11th floor, alongside the conference rooms. The hotel's location is superb. There's a small park nearby, which hosts a lively morning market, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Ganzhangwa Restaurant is directly opposite, and Mojia Street isn't far either, making it easy to explore local food and culture. Breakfast is served on the second floor. The dining area is quite large, and there's an extensive selection of dishes to choose from. Entry requires swiping your room card, and the service staff were prompt in clearing tables. Overall, I had a very positive experience during my stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining.

Sally is so great. She even loan us a wal power adapter we badly need it. She and her friendly hotal staffs arranged a courtesy shuttle to train station. Wow! buffet breafast was the widest variety we have ever seen! we don't need a lunch! i will definitely recommend this hotel in my Los angeles based Burmese newspapers serving rapidly growing Burmese community for sure.

The hotel is conveniently located not far from both the airport and train station, just a 20-minute taxi ride to Caojiapu Airport. During check-in, I even noticed flight attendants staying here, which gave me a good impression. We were traveling with elderly parents and a child, so we had booked a triple room. On the day of arrival, we called ahead and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a family suite. It featured a 1.8-meter king-size bed and a 1.5-meter bunk bed. Both grandma and the little one had their own beds, and our child, who had always dreamed of sleeping on the top bunk, was absolutely thrilled! They didn't even want to check out. Breakfast was also good, though it did get quite busy during peak hours, and we had to wait for a table. The hotel also provides a self-service laundry room, which is a huge convenience for long-distance travelers.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Atour opened in Golmud, especially when I learned at the front desk that Atour in Golmud has spent millions to introduce unique hardware facilities to cope with the harsh climate of Golmud. When I leave this store, I feel that it is very different from the outside. Especially during the past few days in the northwest, I have been feeling a bit high and uncomfortable in my ears, nose and throat. After getting up in this hotel Surprisingly, my mouth and nose are not dry at all. It is super comfortable. The climate is as pleasant as in the mainland. The room is very clean and the breakfast is very rich. It is the opening time and there are souvenirs. I was surprised to see Atour opened in Golmud. The room was very clean and the environment was really nice. The self-service laundry and children's reading area are also very good, which is very suitable for families traveling with a family and need to frequently change clothes and wash clothes. The breakfast is also very rich, and there are souvenirs just in time for the opening. The service at the front desk is also very good. Every brother and sister at the front desk is gentle and friendly, and they are very enthusiastic. It makes people feel like home. Atour's bed The pillows are very comfortable, which is great. I can sleep until dawn. This is why I have always liked Atour. Atour will be my first choice in every city.

I stayed at the hotel on October 14th. We arrived after 9 PM, but the hotel was excellent. The front desk service was very good and welcoming, the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the breakfast was delicious – everything was great. When we left the next morning, the front desk staff and the doorman warmly saw us off, saying goodbye. It felt like a wonderful day started with such wonderful service. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the hotel laundry room had too few washing machines; it would be great if they could expand it. Also, I hope staff could check on the cleanliness of the laundry every one or two hours.

The staff are very enthusiastic. The hotel environment is good and makes people feel comfortable. The room is clean. The breakfast is rich. The transportation is convenient. The service attitude of the lady at the front desk is very good. I will stay here again next time. It’s great and I am very satisfied.

The hotel is located near the Chaka Salt Lake. The hotel does offer room with oxygen supply for guests who are concern over high altitude sickness. We were there during low season and breakfast choices were very limited. I would like to comment on the wonderful service of the staff who went up and above to assist the us. The staff offered to take care of our laundry as timer on the dryer was not working and it's unclear when the laundry load can be dried. Would recommend this hotel to folks who plan to stay overnight in Chaka.

This hotel offers great value for money. The overall facilities are quite good, and I would still highly recommend it, especially if you're not sensitive to cigarette smoke. However, there are a few downsides: 1. The hot water is unstable, constantly fluctuating between cold and hot. 2. The floor has a very strong smoke smell. 3. The towels and pillowcases in the room also smell of smoke. 4. The room heating is too strong and dry, making it difficult to sleep.

Every time I go to Xining, I struggle with finding accommodation, but it seems I won't have to worry about that anymore! This is my second time staying at the Hilton Haihu Hotel, and I'm truly satisfied! A thin, bespectacled male staff member was incredibly warm and attentive during check-in, patiently answering many of my questions, including recording my license plate in advance so entry and exit would be free. It was so convenient for me! Secondly, I must praise their breakfast; the variety was extensive, and the ingredients were extremely fresh. It was also incredibly satisfying for someone with a sweet tooth like me! The durian pastry was amazing; it didn't look pre-made, and I was very happy with it. It's definitely comparable to a buffet under 100 yuan.
