The location is bad. It is not in the city center. It is not close to any tourist attractions. There are a few night clubs nearby. The hotel room was clean but a bit old and shabby. There are no restaurants, shopping malls or public transportation nearby. The hotel has no air conditioning, no drinking water, a small bathroom, no shuttle bus, and no electricity in the sockets. The TV didn't seem to have internet, the water pressure in the room was great, the bed sheets were clean and comfortable.

Very good! The location is close to the convention center, which is very convenient for attending exhibitions. There are convenience stores such as OXXO nearby, and it is very lively and safe to go out to buy things at night. The gym is great. The restaurant is good and recommended by local partners. The most recommended is the laundry service, which costs 45,000 pesos (about 12 US dollars) for a laundry bag and can get everything done. They will even fold it for you.

The Faranda Hotel is a good option to stay in the North part of Bogotá. However, the access to the hotel is a bit tricky because of the road work at the moment of writing this review (07/2023). The room was basic/average. The hotel advertised to have a sauna but it did not. The gym was underwhelming. The restaurant looks really nice but the way the breakfast buffet is set is not the best. It look cramped in a small part of the restaurant. The choices for breakfast are very few.

The best part of this hotel is the breakfast. Lots of food options and great taste as well. They also serve some rrally good Colombian food and soup. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The room is ok but not impressive. The problem is that they do not provide consistent amenities. We have two rooms booked, with one room has sufficient shampoo and body wash supply as well as coffee machine, the other does not have either. When I called the front desk, they could not help as they did not know where to find the supplies. Other than the above, the location is very good, conveneint and safe.

Overall, it's at China's three-star level, which is pretty good here. The hotel is in a good location, close to the embassy, and there are many supermarkets next to it. There is also a Chinese supermarket where you can buy dumplings. It's convenient to go anywhere.

Facilities: Complete facilities. Most local hotels in Colombia do not provide toiletries, but they are provided free of charge here. Hygiene: Cleaning is timely. The room was not cleaned in the morning because of the meeting. During the meeting, we asked if it needed cleaning every 30 minutes. Environment: A standard 5-star hotel environment. Juan Valdz is in the lobby, which is very convenient. Service: Luggage is carried actively, meal reservations are online 24 hours a day, and room service is efficient.

The room layout is OK. There was water on the carpet in the first room. We changed to a bigger room. The environment is quiet. The breakfast is OK. The potato beef soup is delicious. The hygiene is OK. The transportation is OK. There is a free shuttle to the airport. The driver will help with the luggage.

Great location. Breakfast was ok at best, and they were very strict about only offering one hot drink and one water/juice. You had to pay if you wanted a second coffee. No continental offering either. I also had to pay extra to have a side of bacon with french toast. Tried the local breakfast offerings the next day and also not great. On service, they knew the room was for two people but only provided one coffee cup and one glass. The second day they didn’t replace the bath towel. We used the laundry service which was quite slow compared to other hotels that we stayed at in Columbia, but fine apart from being slow. We stayed on the mezzanine level in a queen superior room, the bed was comfy but there was intermittent music blasting from somewhere and the view was of another building so not great. I wish I had paid a bit more and stayed at Click Clack (which was fantastic in Medellin) or the four seasons.

GGuest UserLong established downtown hotel (not to be confused with its namesake the Tequendama hotel - one block away). The location is convenient for accessing public transport and the airport - although it can at first feel a little intimidating particularly at night when the area is much quieter and there are not so many options for eating. The hotel itself offers spacious suite style rooms which although a little dated are well maintained and kept very clean. I also was not aware of any noise from other guests. The WiFi was a bit patchy, and the hot water could take a while to work through (possibly because I was on a higher floor). Breakfast was substantial with a number of local dishes, which for me were a little heavy - so perhaps more lighter options could be considered. I didn't use either the gym or spa so can't comment. Finally, all of the staff I had contact with were very approachable and professional. I generally communicated in Spanish but I believe that the reception staff at least had English language skills. Overall, I consider that the hotel offered good value for money for the price I paid (c.£43 per night)

MM23460****It's very close to the airport and the service staff can't speak English. Maybe it's because the check-in time is a little late, the front desk and the room are not in the same building. I searched for a long time, but no one gave me any guidance.

AAnonymous UserThe most satisfying thing about the hotel is security. This street at the entrance of the hotel leads directly to Bolivarian Square. The street is a street stall. There is no stall at the entrance of the hotel. There are no artists and no homeless people. There are police fences around the alley. Hotel breakfast is good, there is hot water, in the courtyard of the colonial mark, the atmosphere is good. The only downside is that the room facilities are a bit old. The decoration style is old-fashioned. The price is a bit expensive (stay for 3 nights, more than 800 yuan for one night).

HHosanGood location in a safe neighbourhood. Many restaurants in walking distance. Face recognition entry works like a charm. Staff is custeous and very responsive through WhatsApp. The room does not have air conditioning, not that its a big problem for us as we stayed during winter. The temperature for the shower was tricky to regulate, went from cold to hot intermittently. Staff managed to play with the water heater to get the fluctuation down to an acceptable level. Hope the problem was only for the room we stayed. The floor could do with a proper cleaning. Found long hair in different parts of the floor.

GGuest UserSecond time at this hotel and the only problem it's this : IHG have a excellent care on them affiliated program however the cost of the room in them platform is 30% more expensive than CTrip , so it's very good to get the room in CTrip but can't get the points . So my recommendation is to CTrip do this agreement for gold or platinum holders .
