Clean hotel Decent room with microwave and refrigerator Possibility of having a coffee or tea for free Very quiet location Very welcoming staff who speak French English Spanish Concerning breakfast we just had coffee and croissant 🥐 it was good something else we didn't we didn't try it since we only eat halal so it wasn't possible Also it's almost a 20 minute walk to the train stop that leads to the center of Barcelona or if you want they'll call a taxi for you I I liked it and I will come back with pleasure

Near Spanish square, so the location for New Years Eve is OK. Decent breakfast, clean room and bathroom. Mini bar is just small bottle of water, bed is not very comfy. Location is good but not for NY eve. No rooftop bar or access to roof. No view from rooms to Spanish square/fountain and hotel bar was closed for NY eve - midnight drinks. Just a dinner from 8 till 9Pm. We were lucky to find a spot in near by bar, but it's not easy wit no reservation. Fan in the room works like old engine, not possible to sleep when it's on. Opening window is a no go due to noise from the street and it's too warm in the room to sleep in December, I wonder how does it look in summer. TV doesn't work (statics) on upper floors and wi-fi is a joke - breaking connection each 2 minutes. It's just another hotel with no ”I would like to come back” feeling.

I stayed here for two nights in January 2022 as part of a group tour and overall had a pretty awful experience. I faced the following problems at this hotel- 1- The bathroom is open without any door so basically everyone in the room can see you inside the bathroom. This is not an ideal situation for any travelers except couples. Moreover, it ensures that the water from the shower falls into the room and makes it wet. 2- The bed provides no comforter or blanket. So when you feel cold you have to unwrap a brown paper full length cover that does not give any protection at all from the cold. 3- When you switch on the hand shower, the head shower comes on automatically, that too with ice cold water! 4- There is a large counter behind the bed to place items but when you put something on it, you get a loud metallic shrieking noise. 5- Air conditioning in the corridor outside the rooms is set to freezing temperature. 6- Breakfast timings were supposed to be from 7 am to 10 am, but when we went at 8 30 am most of the food was over and nobody was taking an interest in refilling the food. The coffee machine was not working properly. 7- We could hear everything that occurred in adjacent rooms, because soundproofing was poor. 8- We were given two separate beds in spite of being a couple. 9- Finding out which switches operate which lights was very difficult. Moreover on the first day we requested a wake up call which never came! The few positive points are- 1- Close to Fira Metro Station on the Metro Line 9 (4 minute walk) 2- Close to Gran Vía 2 shopping mall (12 minute walk) 3- Friendly and polite staff Overall I think the hotel needs to make a lot of improvements!

Please do not live in this hotel, it’s basically not in Barcelona, you have to take the public transportation up to 1 hour to get to Barcelona by transferring at least twice. On the first day I came here, I called the reception and asked about the laundry fee, a Tall Thin old man told me and emphasized twice that the laundry fee is included in the room and said they would ask people to pick up my clothes. However, nobody came. When I called again, a middle-aged woman told me that I have to drop the clothes in the reception because they don’t have time for me now. As she said, I went down with my bag of clothes. However, an old man in the reception said I should not give them the clothes but to leave in my room. But they can ask people to drop the clothes in my room and then took them to the laundry. What a mess! When I picked up my laundry I was surprised that there was a long bill since the guy in reception clearly said the lauded was in the room fee. And when I went to the reception and asked, the girl with long blond hair confront with me and acted very condescending. To quote exactly what she said ‘No, you must misunderstood, you room even did not include the breakfast, it came with nothing, only the wi-fi. Laundry fee is not in the room, everyone knows!’ I explained patiently multiple times and asked her to maybe ask her college because I didn’t tell a lie but she rolled her eyes and literally said ‘I can’t do anything, if you don’t understand, you go ask my boss’ and pointed to the boss (an old man stand right besides her talking to another customer). Before I opened my mouth, this girl talked in Spanish to her ‘boss’ first and the old guy frowned. I was pretty sure she tell the truth. I didn’t say I don’t want to pay the laundry, but I have to check what I heard. The way these staff did their jobs and solve problems were one hundred percent unprofessional and annoying. I love traveling in Barcelona but these few people just made our impression on Spanish hotels go down.

Nei servizi offerti dalla struttura sono menzionati una piscina con palestra annessa, purtroppo la piscina può essere definita una grossa vasca nella quale non è assolutamente possibile nuotare con una scaletta per accedervi che credo non rispetti nessuna norma di sicurezza. La mia valutazione negativa è condizionata dalla risposta che mi è stata data da una ragazza alla reception, una dipendente dell’hotel che ha il compito di comunicare con i clienti, ne ignoro il nome, ricordo avesse capelli castani lunghi e alla mia richiesta di informazioni in italiano lei mi ha guardato del tutto stizzita e mi ha detto che non eravamo in Italia e se volevo comunicare con lei dovevo farlo in spagnolo o in inglese, questo lo trovo del tutto inaccettabile da una struttura 4 stelle e ritengo che nello stesso modo che accolgono con entusiasmo i nostri soldi dovrebbero farlo anche con con la nostra lingua, almeno l’essenziale, in fondo lavorano e vivono con i turisti! Tengo precisare che tutto il resto del personale con il quale mi sono interfacciato è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, praticamente tutti tranne una.

Great hotel recently built. I would say everything was great apart from the unhelpful night receptionist who could not care less about letting us sit in the comfortable couch next to the kitchen at 5am while waiting for check in. He made us wait in the lobby which there is barely place to sit. Mr. Fortunato you are unpleasant

The room was acceptable, but the surprise came after. I booked in April, and in the early stage I paid at the moment. I was going to be okay. I came to the accommodation and asked if something was missing. I was told qud everything okay. 1 month later, I received a bank extract of almost €200 and I knew that. Totally, I blocked my card. Days later they contact me from the hotel, say do I have not paid, my card was fraudulent. Total, the 200e expenditure was of them, which charged me 3 months later. I'm not going to get a mail to the director and, after several mails, I finally offer a 10 % discount. I was without cards for 2 weeks, but she offers me only 10% of decent. Fatal. I don't recommend this hotel.

The Best Western Premier in Girona is a lovely hotel. Desk staff were friendly and helpful, our room was spacious, clean with all the usual amenities. The communal areas were all spotless. We were bed and breakfast - the breakfast was extremely varied, so there is something for everyone. We did eat in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was lovely and the service brilliant. Location though is a bit of an issue if you don't have a car. It is a 31 minute walk to the main part of Girona - some days we did it twice!. I am sure that we could have utilised a local bus service to travel back and forth, and it would have been useful for the hotel to give us details. However it is a 15-20 minute walk to the train and bus station if you want to explore further than Girona - we went to Barcelona, Costa Brava and Figueres by either bus or train. Girona is a lovely interesting town, which I would love to re-visit, however I would like to stay closer to the old town - if Best Western could just move this hotel slightly closer, it would be perfect. 5 star rating for the quality of the hotel though!

I wanna emphasize the breakfasts, there was a good variety of fruits, cheese and kinds of eggs, but it’d be great to add more vegetables to the menu. Location is also not bad, bus station, subway station and train station are in the same area (right under the hotel :) ). The Mercadona supermarket is 5 minutes away.

The hotel is excellent, with few negative points (see below). It is new, modern and functional. The location is not so central for tourists, and the metro is about 10 minutes walk. I recommend the hotel. Possible points: - large, new, modern and well-equipped room; - large and functional bathroom; - hairdryers; - bed linen with quality fabric; - very good breakfast; - no carpet, and yes wood floor (more hygienic and less allergenic); - good air conditioning control; - careful staff, both breakfast and reception. Points to be improved: - the wi-fi signal is unstable and slow, falling all hours; - the hygienic paper could be of better quality; - the sticks of the larger sticks do not cover the sides (be open), leaving the inner part exposed, which is not very hygienic there, since only the fence is exchanged for each new guest (and not the internal part); - the free toilet items, including body hydrant, are missing, which is always useful when you are in Europe; - they could leave bottles of free water in the room (or in the reception space), as other hotels in this category are currently doing.

Sincerely baffled by all of the positive reviews. Like most of you reading these reviews, We scour the internet to ensure the hotel will be a good fit for my travels. The overwhelming number of positive reviews for this hotel led me to believe we would have a positive experience; but our reality was very different. First; the room was filthy ( this can be very subjective) - which I understand can just ge due to staffing issues etc. and the hotel should not be judged based on this alone. We did let the hotel know our room was pretty dirty and they offered to move us to a complimentary suite on the 14th floor; after being shown the new room; we ultimately declined and ended up checking out after one night as we really did not like our room at all (more on that below). Broken door latches, dirty sheets, dusty lamps, cruddy baseboards and the vanity shelf over the toilet in the bathroom to store your things was just a bit much for us. In our experience, this is one of those hotels where the front lobby is incredibly beautiful, modern, and updated.. however the rooms show signs of some major aging and are in need of a desperate update. We experienced two rooms within the hotel and both were in need of a major update (their suites included). The room photos we see online we felt like were major glamour shots of the actual rooms. Beds: bed preferences vary, so what may be comfortable for me, may not work for another person. Objectively speaking, beds had zero padding to them whatsoever and all bed springs could be felt. Every time we sat down, the bed made a weird noise. It’s worth noting, the beds are also on casters, which aren’t the sturdiest things (assuming this is to be able to move from 2 twins into a king type of room relatively quickly). Bed was the same “hardness” in the upgraded suite as well. Noise: We initially stayed on the 5th floor with a view of the sagrada familia. The hotel is right above a park and we could hear every conversation, cough, spit up and dog bark below us. Furthermore, we could hear all of our neighbors conversations in the rooms next door(s), people coming and going etc. We sincerely found the soundproofing to be completely non existent. When we previewed the room on the 14th floor, we found the noise to be present as well. Location: As far as the proximity to the sagrada familia, this hotel can’t be beat. The hotel offers rooms with views of the sagrada familia as well. Higher floors will obviously have better views; but the room we initially paid for was on the 5th floor and though we could see the Sagrada Familia, it wasn’t exactly what we pictured or thought we paid for. The hotel does appear to be in a more commercial part of town; so we did not feel like it had a charming neighborhood feel at all. Outside of the Sagrada familia, this hotel isn’t very close to other tourist locations so you will be using metro/Uber quite a bit. The metro is within 5-10 minutes walking distance; which we really loved.

Spent two nights at the hotel and overall it was very clean and quiet. The staff was always super polite and helpful. However, being labelled a 4 star hotel it needs improvement, the swimming pool is not really good for swimming as if there are people using it there is no space for it, you can’t dive as the water only goes roughly under the chest height. The colour of the water was “foggy” so didn’t seem to be as clean as it usually is. The sunbathing are is super small so if the 4/5 chairs are being used there’s no space to lay down as on the floor you’d be in people’s way. The rooms were lovely and the beds were amazing to sleep in, super comfortable. But the walls are thin so you can hear people coming and going from their rooms. Also, there’s no kettle or small “treats” like coffee or tea which is a first as even hotel with 2 stars have it. I hope you make some adjustments for the next visitors. However we would like to thank the staff for allowing us to check in slightly earlier and allow us to use the facilities whilst waiting for the room to be ready!

Outside of the Sagrada familia, this hotel isn’t very close to other tourist locations so you will be using metro/Uber quite a bit. The metro is within 5-10 minutes walking distance; which we really loved.

Spent two nights at the hotel and overall it was very clean and quiet. The staff was always super polite and helpful. However, being labelled a 4 star hotel it needs improvement, the swimming pool is not really good for swimming as if there are people using it there is no space for it, you can’t dive as the water only goes roughly under the chest height. The colour of the water was “foggy” so didn’t seem to be as clean as it usually is. The sunbathing are is super small so if the 4/5 chairs are being used there’s no space to lay down as on the floor you’d be in people’s way. The rooms were lovely and the beds were amazing to sleep in, super comfortable. But the walls are thin so you can hear people coming and going from their rooms. Also, there’s no kettle or small “treats” like coffee or tea which is a first as even hotel with 2 stars have it. I hope you make some adjustments for the next visitors. However we would like to thank the staff for allowing us to check in slightly earlier and allow us to use the facilities whilst waiting for the room to be ready!

The hotel is away from the city centre but it is easily accessible by metro. Staff at check-in and breakfast are friendly. We had a triple room, it consists of a double bed and a sofa bed in a separate area. The first night, there were no bed sheets provided for the sofa bed. We went down to the front desk and sheets were delivered to our room promptly. The next day, housekeeping provided a proper blanket and towels for the sofa bed, which is good. I recommend that they should provide these on the first night for triple rooms though. Our room has a jetted tub, but it never worked in the 5 nights we stayed. Other than this, our stay was good. The room has modern decor and a balcony. Breakfast is great with a lot of options: different types of bread with tomato paste and olive oil to add, scrambled egg, sausages, fresh fruits, yogurt, veggies, coffee, tea and juice. Breakfast staff did an excellent job in keeping all the items refilled very quickly.

Sauna never in use. Was dirty eith hair (wet one). Dry one all cool... But costs 5e. Hotel was clean and really nice... Close to the sea and really nice area... But one elevator died while we were there and we needed to wait for up to 10 min to leave hotel each time. 2nd elevator was also close to dying... So noicy and broken. Brakfast - ok... But many people go there and u need to wait in queue for getting into dining area??? You pay for it and then u stay in queue fpr 10 min just so you get inside. The rest all awesome.

Booked a family suite and didn't expect to get 2 separate rooms with interconnected entrance!! Rooms are large and clean, new modern deco, lots of mirrors, be prepared to run into a few morrors when moving in! 😅 Best location! Can't ask for any better location in Barcelona! Right on the best street of Barcelona, where all the big brands are located, LV, Hermes, Gucci, Dior, you name it, also next to Casa Mila and able to see Casa Batllo from some rooms and Sagrada Família from roof top bar! Which is a bonus! as roof top bar is about 2 storeys higher than most buildings around and you can go up and enjoy a drink anytime! Metro station is 5 mins away. Only down side is Mrs spending too much time and money at the big brands! 😅 And you pretty much can get there as first customer in the morning, less queuing! 👍

Please do not live in this hotel, it’s basically not in Barcelona, you have to take the public transportation up to 1 hour to get to Barcelona by transferring at least twice. The wi-fi is too unstable to even watch youtube video. Most importantly, some staff are NOT capable of their jobs. On the first day I came here, I called the reception and asked about the laundry fee, a Tall Thin old man told me and emphasized twice that the laundry fee is included in the room and said they would ask people to pick up my clothes. However, nobody came. When I called again, a middle-aged woman told me that I have to drop the clothes in the reception because they don’t have time for me now. As she said, I went down with my bag of clothes. However, an old man in the reception said I should not give them the clothes but to leave in my room. But they can ask people to drop the clothes in my room and then took them to the laundry. What a mess! When I picked up my laundry I was surprised that there was a long bill since the guy in reception clearly said the lauded was in the room fee. And when I went to the reception and asked, the girl with long blond hair confront with me and acted very condescending. To quote exactly what she said ‘No, you must misunderstood, you room even did not include the breakfast, it came with nothing, only the wi-fi. Laundry fee is not in the room, everyone knows!’ I explained patiently multiple times and asked her to maybe ask her college because I didn’t tell a lie but she rolled her eyes and literally said ‘I can’t do anything, if you don’t understand, you go ask my boss’ and pointed to the boss (an old man stand right besides her talking to another customer). Before I opened my mouth, this girl talked in Spanish to her ‘boss’ first and the old guy frowned. I was pretty sure she tell the truth. I didn’t say I don’t want to pay the laundry, but I have to check what I heard. The way these staff did their jobs and solve problems were one hundred percent unprofessional and annoying. I love traveling in Barcelona but these few people just made our impression on Spanish hotels go down.

The room was newly renovated. The bathroom facilities were very comfortable and the water was very big. There are many snack bars on a nearby street. It takes about 7 or 8 minutes to walk. They are all small shops owned by Chinese. I talked to the shop owner and he said that all the restaurants, grocery stores, and bakeries on the whole street are owned by Chinese. Bread and coffee start from 2 euros. There is a restaurant downstairs of the hotel. The restaurant menu is attached. The small shops in the nearby snack street are cheap and delicious. Back to the hotel, the hotel's airport pick-up service is still very worry-free and convenient.

Nice hotel with good location

This hotel is absolutely amazing! From the service to the facilities, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with very cozy beds. The location of the hotel is very convenient, as it is close to Barcelona Airport and has easy access to transportation. The breakfast was also delicious, with a wide variety of options. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my stay and highly recommend this hotel to all travelers visiting Barcelona!

We were very impressed by this hotel, firstly because of the spaciousness and exquisite decoration and then because of the comfort of the facilities it has; the rooms are very comfortable and with views, the pool is wonderful (with a very good bar), a very well equipped gym. The staff is very very friendly and pleasant. It is a pleasure to meet such receptive and pleasant people, willing to help or advise you if you need it. We arrived by plane and the truth is that it is 8 minutes away by taxi. Very good. I recommend it.

+ Sophie's welcome in French the person who managed our entrance and exit. The very exciting breakfast and very good. The smile of all staff in the corridors, in the salon. The hotel's restaurant is close to the hotel's restaurant and bistro (restaurant) for lunch and dinner. - No machine has coffee in the room. A very positive opinion on all the benefits, I recommend this establishment.

The hotel is well presented and the staff are eager to assist. On check-in amenities were explained, the morning shuttle service to the airport was offered and booked and enquiries were made if there were any other requirements. When I entered the room, it was spacious, clean and most importantly quiet. Meals in the restaurant were reasonably priced, the menu offered a good choice to suit most tastes and service was good. The only downside was location and that really depends on whether you wanted the convenience of being close to the airport or you wanted some time in the city prior to your departure.

We stayed overnight before boarding a cruise ship from the port. They operate a free shuttle from the airport, and that worked very well. The hotel itself is located in the middle of a shopping centre (that is closed on Sundays). Check in was very simple and the staff welcoming. I was curious that they didn't ask for a credit card for any extra's, but it turned out that there was no mini bar in the room and the bar and restaurant had to be paid for in real time. The room was clean, but basic. No English speaking channels on the TV, so if you don't use the spa and the shops are shut, there is not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. No tea or coffee making facilities in room and no complimentary water bottle, which would have been very welcome. Restaurant has a limited menu for dinner but a very comprehensive breakfast buffet. All the food was fresh and cooked well, but on a Saturday night there were very few dinners, so don't worry about booking. I was told they operated a shuttle to the port and I booked it upon arrival. They did advise me that it was not free. As it turned out, they ordered a Taxi for me, they charged me €30 which I had to pay before getting into the taxi. The taxi ride took less than 10 minutes and I have a feeling that if I had of called a taxi without asking the hotel, it would have been significantly cheaper. I think that the €30 is split between the hotel and the driver, could be wrong. Would I stay there again - yes, but for one night only.

Typical Novotel property, away from the city center but reachable by public transport, direct public transport bus (L77) is available for euro 2.40 to reach the hotel (Last stop) - refer to Google map. Nice and comfortable lobby and room, L-3 tram is available at 400m from the hotel which drops you at the nearest metro station, staff will advise about the same and city center attractions. The room was spacious with all the required amenities The reception staff was very nice special mention to Ms. Paula, she explained to us how to use the public transport in line with the attractions upon our arrival, Ms. Jessica was also great during our checkout Does it have a repeat value? for us Yes. We love to stay in this property again whenever we come to Barcellona.

What you're getting with this place location, location, location, as you can drop your rental car the night before and easily get to your plane the next morning. This is especially convenient, given the current CDC rule that requires a negative COVID test within 24 hours of your flight to the US. There's a place in Terminal 1 where you can reserve a test the afternoon before--way better than other offsite options, in my opinion. As for the hotel, don't expect a lot of the room. The one we got was very basic, small and a little weird in that there was no door in front of the toilet and the shower looked out onto the hallway if the door was opened. This lack of privacy may necessitate one in your party vacating the room while the other takes care of certain business, lest an uncomfortable level of embarrassment be entertained. Beyond that, they could use a good mechanic around this place and perhaps a bit of exterminating. The handle to the sink kept falling off. And the phone you were supposed to use to call so they can let you in through the locked sidewalk entrance was broken. So was the other contraption that I gather was supposed to allow your key card to let you in. I used my cellphone to call them (fortunately, they did post the hotel number at this location) and after a few moments --- voila! --- the sliding glass door magically surrendered. A friendly ant was spotted wandering along the exterior threshold of our room's door. And near a planter across from the public restrooms at the back of the hotel, a black roach of alarming size was enjoying a rest. I had no such issues inside our room, but made sure the bags were zipped up at night! And no, I didn't tell my wife about Big Mister Bug---it was too late to swap hotels and I wanted her to get a good night's rest. Breakfast was relatively sp****, but adequate and, actually, the wide selection of croissants was quite tasty. The largest issue for some may be finding this place. It has practically no signage (none at all from what I could tell inside the airport terminal) and good luck asking people who work at the airport where it is. Some told us they didn't think there WAS a hotel in the terminal. Someone here said they were given directions to this place and if I missed those, my bad. But I'm including a proper picture of the entrance and proximity to terminal 1, in case other weary travelers have this same problem. Basically, you hang a right when exiting the departure terminal (floor 3), take the sidewalk to the end and hang a left. The hotel entrance is about three doors down on the right in the adjacent section of building (it's kind of an office center) and it is marked at that point with a sign. It's just not identifiable from a distance. Also, once the door is opened for you, you have to take an elevator down one stop and when the door opens, you're greeted with a rather unappealing hallway with exposed pipes and a soiled blue rug.
