The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Rennes' old town, perfect for exploring on foot. Parking is convenient, with a paid underground car park accessible 24/7. Just a heads-up: the market is held in Place des Lices every Saturday. After passing through a quiet inner courtyard (where you can also enjoy a drink), you'll reach the check-in desk. The welcome was perfectly professional, much like what you'd expect from a Mama Shelter hotel. The room is spacious and features modern decor. An umbrella is provided (which can certainly come in handy in Brittany!), but there are no facilities for coffee, tea, or hot beverages. There's a mini-fridge with two bottles of water and a safe. Please note that a €50 per day deposit is charged immediately and refunded within a few days after your departure.
Reallu love this price very nice review and get everything within just 5minutes walk.i definitely Will came back again.this very modern stylish hotel....
Cadre et vue magnifique. Parcours marin extérieur appréciable.
Petit déjeuner classique et bien préparé mais il manque peut être une touche de modernité.
Good hôtel, fast check in. Welcoming staff at the front desk.
Rooms are nice.
Cleanliness quite good, but could be improve (dirt in some places). Bottle of water half empty in the fridge.
Hammam was cold.
Jacuzzi was at a good temperature but too much chlore and bubble that hurt the eyes.
On that cold and dark winter evebing, we were gracefully helped by phone by the reception lady in order to reach the hotel located within the pedestrian corner of the city. A beautiful Maison de Maître serves as the Edgar hôtel. Check-in was swift and pleasant, and we had access to an elevator for our humougous suitcases. We entered a beautifully-decorated and warm bedroom, and were nicely advised by our receptionist on which restaurant would be open for dinner (winter Sunday night). Had a resting sleep and a tasty breakfast. Only good things to say, basically.
I want to emphasize here that we had a wheel chair accessible bedroom on the 1st floor (the hotel has 3), which I found interesting. The bathroom was all planned for wheel chair access. In case anyone here needs this type of facility, you can book Edgar hotel!

Especially good, the room is very large and comfortable, there is a balcony, breakfast can also see the sea, the location is also very close to various places, highly recommended
The hotel is really ideal for a stay in Saint Malo! The hotel is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the city.
A note that a relaxed area with swimming pool is privatizable for 45min, I've been able to enjoy the last time at 22:00, I strongly recommend it!

LLidamaoziAll Accor Group hotel chains are a little higher than Ibis, the room is very good and relatively spacious, the breakfast is rich, and the service is very thoughtful. Linhai coastline. The price is average. It is relatively far from the train station. There are still several restaurants around. Going to the old town is relatively close.

GGuest UserOn this 25th and 26th of December, the owner/manager of Le Temps de Vivre welcomed us with open arms and helping hands to carry our heavy luggage. He took the time to tell us about the city, and advise us on dinner venues (on this Holiday). He also booked our 2nd dinner venue and gave us all recommendations to visit. Professional yet warm welcoming. And perfect British English accent, for those of you not French natives!
The hotel itself is a beautiful old granite mansion from downtown, stuck between the historical center and the sea. Our bedroom overlooks the high and low tides, rocked by the waves and wind sound. It is extremely clean and we have ample amount of towels and robes…
Recommended hotel by Winter which would obviously be great in Summer.

GGuest UserHôtel Lovely and clean but ridiculous prices to use facilities or eat within hotel. Location convenient. Parking was not available to us though was on offer through hotel (but inconveniently fully booked)- hotel could have offered reimbursement.
Coffee pot in an inconvenient location of room and not cleaned. Temperature not adjustable from 18 downwards- only warmer.
Disappointed spa and pool were not included in very high price of room.
GGuest UserThis time we stayed in a four-person room. Although it has a double sofa bed, the room feels very spacious and open. The kitchenette is well-equipped, and there’s a round table where we can enjoy breakfast in the room. Overall, it feels clean and tidy, and the terrace is large enough to sit outside and enjoy the sea breeze. The front desk service is excellent, and the whole family, including the two kids, really enjoyed this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is about 8-10 minutes' walk from the train station and the historical center, making it very convenient for travel. The hotel is bright as soon as you enter it. The lounge is very impressive. Although the paintings on the wall are replicas, they are also famous paintings. The guest rooms are very spacious, with dining tables, desks, sofas, chairs and stools, which are very convenient to use. The bedding is acceptable; the dry and wet areas are separated, the bathroom is large, and the bathtub is equipped with small non-slip blocks, which is clean and hygienic. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, carefully introduced the hotel services, and also thoughtfully helped plan the itinerary to the French double town of Locronan. If there was no lady at the front desk asking for the free Italian coffee fee, the stay here would be perfect.
GGuest UserThe hotel stay was generally okay and everything else met expectations. However, there were construction works taking place around the hotel area, which unfortunately affected the view and made it less enjoyable. Apart from that, the overall experience was fine.
SSaina-maenshengxiaoheThe window of our room faces a garden, which is quiet and beautiful. There is a dessert shop near the hotel. The desserts are exquisite and delicious. The surrounding buildings and cobblestone roads make people feel like they are in a historical city. I recommend this hotel when visiting Rennes.
