Hotel near Quartier Européen - Orangerie,Strasbourg

I stayed in a Deluxe King room for two nights and had a good experience overall. The location was convenient: just a short tram ride from the city center and close to the convention hall. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities. The bar and restaurant were nice places to relax in the evening.
The staff was friendly and professional and always ready to help. As a possible area for improvement, some areas of the hotel and rooms feel a bit dated. Also, parking and in-room Wi-Fi cost extra if you're not a Hilton Honors member.
Overall, it’s a reliable choice, especially for business or short city visits. It's a comfortable stay with helpful staff and easy access to transportation.

The hotel's location, cleanliness, and wonderful breakfast made us feel every moment how good a choice we had made. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, the pleasant atmosphere in the courtyard, the parquet flooring instead of carpet in the rooms, the delicious food, and the fact that it provided all the comfort and quality expected of a holiday, all made me choose the same hotel again. I hope you also leave the hotel feeling peaceful and happy like we did 💯
Beautiful hotel on the very center of Reims walking distance from the cathedral. Recently renovated. Big rooms, beautiful and user friendly design. Very clean. Nice spa, bar and restaurant areas. Very friendly and professional staff.
The hotel's location is great, directly opposite a large shopping mall. It's also a short walk to the Old Town, making it very convenient for getting around.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, and tidy.
There's a small laundry room on the first floor, and you can buy laundry detergent pods at the front desk for 2 euros.
The lobby has a ping-pong table and a pool table.
I recommend staying in a family room; the two beds are very large, and the room is relatively more spacious. The Cathedral View rooms are a bit smaller, and they face west, so they get very hot when the sun is out. At night, there's a music bar across the street, and the room's soundproofing isn't great, so it can be a bit noisy.
Public parking lot P2 is a 5-minute walk away. We parked for two nights and used the hotel's discount voucher, which cost 32 euros.

The hotel enjoys a prime location, opposite the train station. Nearby commercial facilities are plentiful, making it a great choice for travelers. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable. The buffet is also excellent. The service in the restaurant improved significantly this time, as the staff were absent a few days ago. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!
The location is great, very central and the paid parking garage is very close by. Even though we had booked with parking, parking apparently was full. The hotel as such is pleasant but outdated and needs a refurbishing. The door between hotel room and aisle is not insulating at all so you can hear any conversation outside. Beds are not great but ok. What we did like was the ability to drop off our luggage at the storage room.
We had a wonderful stay at The Loisium. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The spa was incredible with heated outdoor pool; two saunas (at different temperatures) and Hamman.
The food was fabulous- all sourced locally and the wine is spectacular!
Would recommend this to anyone who wants to break up a journey travelling back to the UK as it’s around 3hrs from Eurotunnel

The carpet near the bar in the room was wet for most of the time, maybe the previous occupant spilled some water.
Other than that, all is very satisfaying, the receptionists are super professional. The location is convenient to all nearby attractions.
I had the court yard view room, it is so quiet and I love it!

CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours.
The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch.
That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.
GGuest UserHad a change of plans and was not able to make this trip to Reims and therefore wanted to try cancel with Trip.com despite booking a non cancellable reservation. In the end, it was sadly not possible as the parties involved were unwilling to be accommodating so in the end I had to rearrange my schedule to avoid losing USD 200.
The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. He suggested we use the entrance with the ramp to bring up our luggage instead of the more conspicuous swing doors.
The room was on 6F and was ok. For the price I was hoping for more space. There is a weird shelf ledge against the wall where the TV is that was spanning across multiple walls that was annoying and dangerous since it was set at around 1.5 meters high off the ground. I bumped my shoulder a few times so it really is a hazard and should be removed if it isn’t purposeful.
The room is otherwise furnished in a modern and simple way. Wooden floors and plain wall tiles make it look clean and well kept.
The LED lighting strips in the walls and ceiling are distracting and would be better to be removed. It’s hard to watch TV with the glare and reflections off the flatscreen.
Minimal amenities and breakfast not included. Shower pressure was not strong and so I took longer than usual.
All in all, I would imagine this to be 20-30% cheaper for what was on offer in terms of experience and furnishings.

HHaboluoneilikuiI am basically satisfied with this hotel, but it is inconvenient to travel without a car because it is remote. I had a vegetable platter for lunch, which was satisfactory.
KKkaatteebbThis is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.
GGuest UserI didn't have particularly high expectations, as I understood it was an apartment-style accommodation. However, it was spotlessly clean, offered excellent hotel amenities, and came with a kitchen, making it absolutely perfect for families.

MMarina KotikNicely located best the train station and with the city center 10 minutes by foot. The hotel itself could use some renovation, it seemed old but okay for a short stay. As for the room, at first I was offered a wheelchair room, which had small windows, twin beds, was not cozy at all, and also lacked shower chair. So I asked to be provided with a superior studio that I initially booked :) The room was spacious, with double bed, mini kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dishes and some kitchen utensils. It was enough for a short stay. The one thing that surprised me was that toilet and bathroom were separated in different corners of the apartment: toilet at the entrance door, and bathroom next to the bed, so you need to turn around three corners to wash your hands 🤪
But the staff was helpful and overall I was satisfied with my stay. Thanks!
AAnonymous UserThe location was very central so that’s good. But there was no housekeeping services for stays below 8 nights so that was a disadvantage. And the hotel life was spoilt on the final day of our stay which meant we had to carry down our luggage down 8 flights of stairs which was simply crazy with no compensation from the hotel for this.
AAnonymous UserAs a family of 3 we don’t have many options jn Strasbourg. Most designer properties only accommodate 2 in one room. Good sized, modern rooms by European standards. Efficient, lovely housekeeping staff. Walking distance to Strasbourg old town and train station. A comfortable stay with all the usual amenities of a four star property.
