This Hotel has opened new in 2020. We have booked a Villa. The villa has 2 separate bedrooms and is quite spacious. The best thing is the separate pool. It is a very modern Greece architecture hotel and you can truly feel the cosiness. The owner and all the staff are very kind and helpful. Far beyond the standards. We needed assistance in Preveza and Babis ( the owner) helped us immediately. The breakfast served is outstanding. The best breakfast I have ever got in Greece. Everything you desire, name it you will get it. The hotel has also an excellent Bar and Restaurant. The cocktails are tasty and the food is not the usual Greek Cousine. I would call it modern Greek Cousine. It is a mix of national and international tastes for moderate pricing. I can recommend the restaurant even if you are not a guest of the hotel Overall I give an excellent rating. Nothing and I mean really nothing to complain.

The hotel is stylish, in a great location as it’s easy to walk to restaurants, sites, etc. We stayed 2 nights and on arrival were upgraded from a standard city view to a superior city view which was very much appreciated. The superior room is spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable with good pillows and very good bedding (nice cotton sheets). Black out drapes also provide a very good sleep and were excellent. You do hear some street noise depending on the night and how much activity is outside though. The room safe is huge and fits a laptop easily. We enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar overlooking Ioannia’s rooftops which is a great space. Wi fi signal was excellent in the room and the air conditioning unit worked very well. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is very good, and because of Covid it was a buffet with staff serving the guests. All staff are helpful and very friendly. The only shortcoming is parking and the difficulty of unloading and reloading the car with luggage. The problem is not paying €8.00 per day or even the block that it is away from the hotel. The problem is checking in and checking out. I’m not sure how the hotel can remedy this problem. We loved everything about the hotel, but unfortunately because of the parking/arrival/departure difficulties, we probably wouldn’t stay at the hotel again. Unfortunate because it’s an awesome hotel!! Therefore I am giving it a 5 circle rating based on the hotel itself.

Let's start from the basics. What you see in the photos do not represent reality. Well done to the photographer who managed to hide how dilapidated the accommodation is. Specifically: The rooms too small, one on top of the other. The rooms are filthy, dust everywhere. The glass in the bathroom door has probably never been cleaned (see attached photo). Closets, dirty. Basin; Her bottom had changed color, bleach is never used, not a single day did we smell anything in bleach or anything at all that reminded us of cleanliness. The building is in a bad condition externally (damaged - paintwork) but also internally as the furniture was battered and had lost its color as well as the walls have been painted in the corridors. The aesthetics of the hotel are also miserable, curtains everywhere for no reason with strange lights that you don't see in the corridors at night. The room has too many lights, which do not turn off individually, they have a central switch. So either you will be squinted by the light or you won't be able to see in front of you. In the shower we found half-finished shampoos from the previous ones that the cleaners had not collected. 3 days in a row, they didn't put me a panosedon and I had to call them at 12 at night to bring it to me. The cleaners don't use a vacuum cleaner. Broom and farasi and holy God. On the last day I went back up to the room after breakfast and was sweating, we had to leave it wide open for 10 minutes to let it dry out in the cold. Ok I get that people sweat when they clean and do chores but not like this guys, we couldn't stop. Balcony; Ok, chairs on the balcony? ok Small table? Never, so you can't sit on a balcony if you want (if you want to sit on a balcony in the stink, cobwebs and dust that has literally never been cleaned). Let's go to breakfast: Breakfast in the basement ( -1 ) at tables for 8 people which were full of crumbs and you will necessarily have to eat breakfast with other strangers at the same table. The food stale and plastic, the only nice thing was the water. Napkins missing, only if you asked. On Monday, we went down half an hour after breakfast had ended because no one had informed us that on weekdays it ends earlier. So we left hungry. Kudos to the photographer as he has amazingly managed to camouflage this shack you call a 4 star hotel. And if they paid us, we wouldn't go again. 200 euros a night for a family of 3, I'd rather burn it than give it to them. It is worth noting that the most important problem of all of these is cleanliness. It is not clean, the cleaners do not clean, they enter your room for 5 minutes, throw 2 sheets and leave. Την Παρασκευή 6/8 έκανα κράτηση μέσω internet στο Lake Spirit Boutique Hotel & Spa στα Γιάννενα για μία διανυκτέρευση για το Σάββατο 7/8. Στην κράτηση μου η οποία επιβεβαιώθηκε από το ξενοδοχείο γίνεται ρητή αναφορά στο ότι είμαι χρήστης αναπηρικού αμαξιδίου και μάλιστα τηλεφωνικά μίλησα τέσσερις φορές με υπαλλήλους του αναφορικά με το θέμα οι οποίοι με διαβεβαίωσαν δεν υπάρχει κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα. Λόγω κάποιων συναντήσεων που είχα στην πόλη έφτασα στο ξενοδοχείο στις 5:00 το απόγευμα και Βρέθηκα προ εκπλήξεως Γιατί δεν υπήρχε πρόσβαση προς το ξενοδοχείο από το πεζοδρόμιο. Όπως μπορείτε να δείτε στη φωτογραφία ακριβώς έξω από την είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου υπάρχει μία αναπηρική θέση στάθμευσης όμως αν παρκάρω εκεί αυτομάτως κλείνω τη μοναδική ράμπα πεζοδρομίου προς το ξενοδοχείο. Μπαίνοντας στο ξενοδοχείο υπήρχε ένα αναβατόριο το οποίο όπως μπορείτε να δείτε στις φωτογραφίες επουδενί δεν μπορεί να εξυπηρετήσει έναν χρήστη αναπηρικού αμαξιδίου. Είναι κατάλληλο για ηλικιωμένα άτομα ή για άτομα με κάποια ελαφριά αναπηρία. Το αναβατόριο Είναι μικρό είναι σε πολύ λάθος θέση με κίνδυνο για τον χρήστη αναπηρικού αμαξιδίου όταν τον πλησιάσει να πέσει στις σκάλες και το πιο κοντινό σημείο που μπορεί να φτάσει αφήνει μεγάλο κενό μεταξύ αμαξιδίου και αναβατορίου ώστε να γίνει η μεταφορά. Ακόμα και αν μπορούσε να γίνει η μεταφορά ( και μιλάω υποθετικά) θα έπρεπε κάποιος να μετακινεί το αναπηρικό αμαξίδιο αυτομάτως αυτός ο χώρος δεν μπορεί να καλείται προσβάσιμος Η υπάλληλος της ρεσεψιόν η οποία ήταν ευγενέστατη και εξυπηρετικότατη προσφέρθηκε να με βοηθήσει στη μεταφορά η οποία εκ των πραγμάτων είναι αδύνατη προς το αναβατόριο γιατί αυτές τις οδηγίες είχε όμως ούτε την πιστοποιηση έχει για κάτι τέτοιο ούτε τις γνώσεις και σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος θα έφερε μέρος της ευθύνης. Μάλιστα μου είπε ότι το ξενοδοχείο στο παρελθόν έχει δεχτεί κάποια άτομα με αναπηρία Αλλά πάντα με συνοδό και τότε της είπα ότι υπάρχουμε και εμείς Πού είμαστε ενεργοί και αυτοεξυπηρετούμενοι. Προσπάθησε να επικοινωνήσει με την υπεύθυνη του ξενοδοχείου η οποία βρισκόταν σε άδεια και εναλλακτικά επικοινώνησε με την ιδιοκτήτρια του ξενοδοχείου και όταν μου έδωσε το τηλέφωνο για να μιλήσω μαζί της δέχτηκα επίπληξη με άσχημο τρόπο και τόνο από εκείνη η οποία στην ουσία με μάλωσε χωρίς να με αφήσει να αρθρώσω λέξη. Φυσικά δεν συνέχισα την επικοινωνία έφυγα από το ξενοδοχείο και βρήκα κάπου αλλού δωμάτιο παρότι λόγω της συγκεκριμένης ώρας η τιμή που βρήκα ήταν αρκετά μεγαλύτερη από αυτήν που θα έβρισκα την προηγούμενη μέρα Απαράδεκτες υποδομές ακκμα πιο Απαράδεκτη η συμπεριφορά της ιδιοκτήτριας του ξενοδοχείου Κανένας σεβασμός στην αναπηρία

Delightful hotel in the heart of the town with friendly staff, spacious bedroom, relaxing (slightly small) pool area and a heart bedroom. Very happy to recommend it It also features a large and well decorated lounge and bar area. The bar was under used probably as guests can easily walk 3 minutes to the sea front. The beach is 15 minutes from the hotel. Free use of the hotel bikes enables a good explore.

We had an amazing time when we visited Melydron during July 2020. The hotel was very clean, quiet with a majectic view from the room an pool. We really enjoyed relaxing next to the pool or outside our balcony especially during sunset. The employees were very friendly and polite all the times! Definitely a place to revisit!
