4-Star Hotels in West Sumatra, Indonesia

We like the strategic location. Also, the friendly staffs render their services to the guests. Especially, a surprise cake given to us for our anniversary. We returned to stay as we liked the spread of menu both international and local food availability. The foods were regularly ready to replenish by the staffs.

I chose this hotel after reading many reviews from my country. The hotel is beautiful, located on a hill with a stunning view. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which included Padang-style dishes. However, the hotel is a bit old and has carpeted rooms, which I’m not particularly fond of. Nevertheless, it’s fine as I’m only staying for a night before heading out to explore tomorrow.

Staff friendly, the room clean, the service good, it is worth staying here. They also has variety of food, dessert you can choose for breakfast. Thank you for having us mercure hotel.

My checked in and checked out was handled by Ms Putri and it was smooth. Kudos to the housekeeping staff who made up my room. It was always perfectly refreshed when I am back to the room. Food served during breakfast was delicious and staffs were attentive and giving great service. Overall an enjoyable stay and definite thumbs up.Recommeded place to stay while in Padang.

Good value for money. The location is great, approximately 30 minutes from Minangkabau Airport. The room was quite spacious and clean. The air conditioning was strong and cold, which was a welcome comfort given Padang's hot climate. Breakfast offered a wide selection, featuring both traditional Minang dishes and more general options. Everything tasted delicious, and they even served traditional *jamu*. Highly recommended for those looking for a stopover hotel in the Padang area, especially because it's not too far from the airport.

Good location and helpful concierge staffs. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t attentive enough to facilitate our request of double bed for all 4 rooms booked about a month prior to our arrival. 3 out of 4 rooms were without hot shower which annoyed us a lot. The room I stayed (#552) shares the same balcony with the next room and surprisingly the balcony door can’t be locked. Very loud music from the rooftop bar was also very annoying. Breakfast was not impressive and staff not attentive enough to replenish drinking glass for the fruit juices. Will choose other hotel whenever I visit Padang on the future.

Hotel standard should be 3 star. Calling it 4 stars wit some hiccups is a nono

Nice service.. For I forgot that have to catch up early morning flight, but already booked breakfast for 2 pax.. Cannot return the money for the second day breakfast, only can take away the breakfast.. So we request for the breakfast, they served it with fruits, buns and rice and vegetables plus chicken (actually we request for it).. Thank you so much for fulfilled my request.. Going to stay again at rocky for next visit to padang.. Beside there also got supermarket, nice!

we stayed in room 511, but there was quite a disturbing noise from the next wall because their workers were doing the construction of a new building, I thought it was only until 5 pm, it turned out to continue until 8 pm

Totally is fine. But I really don't like dark room. There were 2 bulbs down. I call that service at 6 pm, they directly came to check and they came back with new bulbs at 9pm. Maybe the replacement not available at that time. But because my children were sleeping at that moment so I cancel it.
