4-Star Hotels in Lazio, Italy

A convenient hotel for visiting the Vatican. The hotel is small, the room is comfortable. A great big bed. The room we had was without a window but with our own outlet to the patio where there was a table with chairs and you could smoke. The only glass wall of this patio went out into the hotel hall. We stayed for one night, it didn't embarrass us. We are very glad that we managed to sleep thanks to the mattress and pillows. It was our third hotel in Rome, there is something to compare. Breakfast was better. But the wonderful cook kindly cooked our eggs than saved the situation.

We were very pleased with the hotel and stayed there at both the beginning and end of our trip to Italy. We rented a car at the airport and parked it right in front of the hotel's door in a private courtyard. That was very convenient. I believe they charged us about 35 Euros each night for that perk. The hotel was luxurious, and the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. They had someone carry our bags to and from our room during check-in and check-out. Everything in the large room worked; it was clean, and there was a safe to store your valuables. As Americans, a few reminders or unexpected things to note. You'll need a power adapter (easily purchased on Amazon) and, unless you bring a voltage converter, make sure any appliances (CPAP, travel steamer/iron, etc) are compatible with both 110V and 220/230V. We didn't find washcloths in any of the hotels in Italy, so we just used hand towels in the shower. The shower at this hotel (both rooms) was a bath/shower combination. There was no shower curtain or door, only a small partition near the removable shower head to keep the water from splashing everywhere, which it basically did. While it is a beautiful historic building, there are a couple of elevators at this hotel, so you don't need to lug your stuff up a bunch of stairs. The room key is enormous and they only give you one. We kept ours in the car whenever we left the hotel so we wouldn't carry it around. Even though we had a car, we found it more convenient to leave it at the hotel and take an Uber to Vatican City rather than walk more than a mile each way, which we also did twice. The area surrounding the hotel was historic and lots of fun. Plenty of places to shop and eat. The breakfast buffet at the hotel each morning was also superb. Plenty of hot and cold items to fill you up before trekking out. That's about it. Don't forget to check out the view from the rooftop at the hotel. Have a great time in Rome!

An excellent choice if you’re planning a trip to Rome. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini and about 5 minutes from Repubblica metro station. Trams and several bus lines run nearby, making it easy to get around. Both the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, as well as many of Rome’s other popular attractions, are about a 15-20 minute walk away. The hotel is quite large, and the room we chose was very spacious and spotless, with daily housekeeping. It included everything we needed: a hairdryer, shampoo, and various toiletries (such as a shower cap and slippers). The room also had a desk, a safe, a television, a comfortable armchair, and a fairly large wardrobe. There was also a minibar and a kettle, with complimentary coffee sachets provided daily. The staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The hotel also offers free luggage storage, which is very convenient if you arrive before check-in time or if your flight departs late in the evening. Thank you for the wonderful stay. The hotel's location is excellent, and the staff are very responsible and enthusiastic. I arrived in Rome between 1 and 2 AM, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, assisting me with check-in via WhatsApp – I'm very grateful! The room even had toothbrushes and slippers. This hotel offers amazing value for money in Rome; I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

This is a little hidden gem in the heart of Rome! The entrance into the hotel is beautiful and the rooms inside are just as nice. We arrived very early and received a warm welcome. They not only let us check in early but also upgraded us for no extra charge. Be sure to bring enough cash to pay for the tax - 7.50 euro per person per day It’s walking distance to all the great spots! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This time, I stayed at a hotel that seems to be a popular choice among Chinese travelers, and my overall experience was pretty good. The only downside was the front desk staff's attitude – they were consistently cold and indifferent. There were no greetings when we came and went, and even when we initiated a hello, we only got dismissive responses. What was even more frustrating was the rather large staff member at the restaurant entrance who just stood there expressionless every time we passed by, which gave a very unwelcoming impression. However, the restaurant and housekeeping staff were all very warm and friendly, which definitely redeemed a lot of my impression of this stay.

So happy to stay for two nights, and the reception at the counter were so kind and nice that they tried to help guests. I would strongly recommend my friends to stay here. Thanks for the reception counter ladies...

The hotel is new and in a great location, with a bus stop just a few steps away. The room also had good quality slippers (European hotels usually don't provide disposable ones). The only thing that was unsatisfactory was when I asked the front desk for two bottles of water around 10 PM one night because my throat was very sore. They said that water is only provided once per stay and refused to give it to me. I mean, if I checked out after one day and then checked back in, I'd get it, so why not if I'm staying multiple nights? It's very inflexible; they clearly don't care about the guest's well-being. Even the small bar on the first floor could give me a cup of hot water, but the front desk just wouldn't! It forced me to go out in my slippers late at night to buy water.

The open-air bar on the top floor of the hotel is nice; the soundproofing of the room is not very good. When I first lived on the first floor, I felt like I was sleeping on the street. The noise was very noisy. It was much better after I moved to the fourth floor; the overall location is good, located on the commercial street, close to the Pantheon, fountain, and Spanish Square, and can be reached in more than ten minutes on foot; but it is a little far from the subway station, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to it
