This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Higashi-Okazaki Station. Everything else is very good. The breakfast has a lot of variety compared to other hotels and is very good. You can see Okazaki Castle from the large bath!
I recently stayed at Hotel Grand Tiara Minami Nagoya and overall had a very pleasant experience!
The room size was excellent — spacious, comfortable, and perfect if you’re planning to relax or unpack fully during your stay. It felt roomier than many other hotels in the area, which made it much easier to settle in and move around.
One of the big advantages was that the hotel provides free parking if you’re driving — a huge plus for travellers with a rental car. The parking area is ample and convenient, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot nearby.

The location is fantastic, right next to Nagoya's main subway station. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall with Uniqlo, Bic Camera, and GU, perfect for all your shopping needs. There's also a convenience store right at the lobby entrance. We even received shopping mall discount coupons upon check-in. On our floor, there was a drink vending machine, a free ice machine, and a microwave. The bathroom had a large tub, and they provided not only bath salts but also miniature toiletries. Even the shampoo was excellent. The room also came with complimentary capsule coffee and tea. We booked a twin room for our family of three, and the size was perfectly adequate with a great view. I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit.
It is a hotel with no problems at all. It was in front of the station and the room was very clean. Perhaps it was renewed, the unit bath was also very large and comfortable. Speaking strongly, I think there are a little few amenities, but I think it is the average of business hotels. It was very comfortable.

Bed is rather small, but sufficient for a business style hotel. Located right at exit 10 of uni mall, and about 5 min walk from the JR Nagoya. Room is modern and clean, with a big toilet.
I made a mistake in booking a twin room, but was booked for only one person. They charged me an additional 10,000 yen per person, so I had no choice but to pay. I booked a twin room for a hefty price, but they demanded 10,000 yen. I was really annoyed.

The room facilities are complete and the hygiene is good. The breakfast is a Japanese-style buffet with a rich selection of food. It's not far from the Sakae business district and within walking distance, making shopping and dining convenient. The transportation is also excellent.

Location: A 3-minute walk from Sakae subway station, on the north side of the station. Shopping areas are all on the south side, just across the road. The 'little sister' district, as mentioned online, is just one street away from the hotel.
Facilities: The decor is a bit old-school, but it's very clean.
Front Desk: Check-in was very fast, and you can get toiletries for free.
Room: Pretty standard, slightly larger than the average Japanese room. My small suitcase could be fully opened on the floor.
Value for Money: Considering its location around the Sakae commercial district and decent ratings, this is definitely one of the viable options.

Although the room size isn't huge, it's quite acceptable for a major city like Nagoya. Every day, after returning to the hotel, I could relax in the large public bath on the rooftop, which really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. Since I didn't use the room's bathroom, I put my suitcase in there, which effectively increased the usable space in the bedroom. Plus, the hotel provides DHC cosmetics for free, which is definitely a highlight. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Sakae commercial district, Oasis 21, and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle is only about a 15-minute walk away. For dinner, if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 5 minutes, you'll find an underground shopping street beneath the Nagoya TV Tower with all sorts of restaurants and a food supermarket. There's also a convenient store right outside the hotel. While the breakfast selection isn't incredibly diverse, I particularly enjoyed the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and ramen. The staff were very enthusiastic. Choosing this hotel for my stay was definitely a smart decision.

The hotel's facilities are great! The entire building feels brand new, and the location is decent – not right in the heart of Sakae station's subway area, but a 5-10 minute walk from exit 12 or 13.
After a 4-night stay, my main suggestion would be to add a humidifier to the rooms. It's a standard amenity in Japan, and its absence felt a bit off. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nagoya.

BBoon Hong PohThe location was fantastic, check in was quick and smooth. We left our luggage at the counter as we arrived early. We stayed on Level 9. Our room was a room at the end of the aisle with two single beds and an additional foldable bed added. However, the room was not properly cleaned. There was visible dust on the surfaces on the ledge of the bed above our heads. The small bedside table was also covered with dust. As my daughter and I both have allergic reactions, it was bad for our noses and much sneezing ensued. I am deeply disappointed as I have come to expect top level cleanliness from Japanese hotels and so far, I have never been disappointed. This was by far my worst stay in a Japanese hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to JR Nagoya Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding commercial area also offers excellent facilities. Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately impressed; the lobby is spacious, upscale, and beautifully decorated, already exuding a strong Christmas atmosphere. The front desk service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and detailed in their explanations—truly a testament to a grand hotel's standard of service. The room was compact but very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I'm very satisfied. I'm looking forward to returning to the Meitetsu Grand Hotel after my trip to Takayama and Gero to kick off my Nagoya city tour and shopping spree! I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience.
A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.
Fflam73Fantastic theming in the rooms and hotel generally. Great for our 2 and 4 year old boys. The gifts inside the Treasure Chest are great. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. We also spent two nights at Disney Resort Toy Story hotel and found the Legoland Hotel to be better. The only things I think could be improved would be the sound proofing of rooms - our kids slept at 8pm and you can hear all the kids/people talking and walking in the hallway outside. The water play area also gets booked out literally one minute after it opens (12pm) so we had no chance to use it even though I was on the website at 12.09pm. It feels a bit like false advertising of a hotel feature when it’s not even possible to access.
GGuest UserEven with the holiday premium, the hotel was very clean and offered great value for money. It was my first time trying a hotel without daily housekeeping, but they still came to collect towels and trash, which I found perfectly adequate.
11366177****The triple room wasn't cramped at all, and the location was excellent, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. The bathroom was also quite satisfactory; it's not small for Japan. The only minor downsides were the lack of a wardrobe and a very small fridge.
AAnonymous UserFront Desk staffs were very helpful and they helped to make restaurant reservations. Room was spacious and clean. Location is good and is close to JR Nagoya. Overall good hotel, if price is a little bit cheaper, it will be better value for money.
