4-Star Hotels in Fukui Prefecture, Japan

The hotel is very close to JR Station. After exiting from the West Gate, you can immediately spot a tall building. Take the elevator through a door to the left of the building to the third floor. If it's not yet check-in time, you can store your luggage at the concierge desk on the third floor. From the third floor, take another elevator to the reception on the sixteenth floor to check in. Then, take another elevator from the sixteenth floor to your room's floor. The highest room floor is the 28th floor. The higher you stay, the more expansive the view, and you can even see the JR Station. Additionally, guests staying here can use the fitness equipment on the sixteenth floor. The room was clean and quiet, with excellent soundproofing. I loved their small coffee machine and the Coway water dispenser in the bathroom, but I especially enjoyed the expansive view from the room. My only minor regret is not trying their breakfast. The next time I come to Fukui, I will definitely stay here again and make sure to try the breakfast.

Very good hot spring hotel, first-class service facilities, friendly staff, although the room is a bit old, but clean and comfortable. The Japanese-style room is very beautiful. The one I stayed in had a private open-air bath, which was very beautiful! On the day I stayed there, we were the only Chinese, and the other customers I saw were all Japanese. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly to foreigners! English speaking staff! Although the price is a bit expensive, it's worth it! The location is about an 8-minute drive from JR Aragatsu Onsen Station, and a taxi is not expensive. The hotel has a dedicated bus shuttle, just book it on the official website. There's not much to do around here. The buffet has a rich variety of food and drinks. But we only have 90 minutes to eat, it would be better if we could have 120 minutes. If you do not choose the buffet, you can choose the Kaiseki cuisine. You can drink as much as you want in the room, including Japanese sake, beer and juice. All in all, I would stay here again. 

Good location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space. The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.

Lobby is grand and great area, check in service is fast, smooth and patient for serving. Lobby contain a 24-hr shop for us buying snack. Room is clean, big and window can sightseeing city view, great. Bed is comfortable, hotel provide types of pillow for selection , comfortable for sleeping well.

New hotel, spa really nice. Spacious and modern room. Staff was nice. The problem is that parking area is a bit small, people mainly use cars and risk to not get a space is high. Same for breakfast, small area compared to hotel numbers so you may have to wait. But overall experience is super nice.

今回、初めて利用させていただきました。 館内は清掃が行き届いており、洗練されたデザイナーズ家具も相まって、とても居心地の良い空間でした。大きな窓のあるお部屋で、景色も素晴らしく、さらに屋上にも上がることができ、開放感たっぷりの時間を楽しめました。 家族4人で宿泊しましたが、予約時はベッド2台との記載だったため、少し窮屈かなと思っていたものの（笑）、追加のマットレスやエキストラベッドをご用意いただき、ゆったりと快適に休むことができました。 また、デジタルデトックスがしやすい環境づくりも印象的で、ボードゲームの貸し出しもあり、家族で時間を忘れてゆっくり過ごせました。お部屋にあったドリップコーヒーも美味しく、ほっと一息つける時間になりました。 今回は素泊まりでしたが、隣のレストランでピザをテイクアウトしていただき、とても美味しかったです。次回はぜひ食事付きのプランも利用してみたいと思いました。 目の前が海ですぐに行ける立地、ドラッグストアも道の反対側にあったので必要なものもすぐ入手できとても魅力的でした。

When I opened the window, there were pigeons, but I couldn't see the view. It felt like I was surrounded by buildings. It was quiet and I was able to rest comfortably. There were hot springs all over the place, but the bath on the first floor of the room I stayed in was open until midnight. The hot spring had a standing jacuzzi, a reclining bath, a bath, and a salt sauna, which was great. I was able to enjoy it leisurely as it was private. Since I was staying without meals, I had dinner at a nearby Western restaurant. The toilet slippers in the unit bath in the room had peeled off on the inside, which I didn't like. Toilet slippers in a unit bath? There was no bath mat, as is usually provided. That was disappointing, but when I parked my car in the parking lot, a staff member came running over to guide me and gave me polite instructions, so the reception was smooth. My husband and I had a relaxing time. Thank you very much.

Upon entering, staff will help you wipe your luggage. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hairdryers in the large public bath are top-of-the-line Refa salon-grade. You can even have the bath private at 11 PM. Complimentary buckwheat noodles are served at 9:00 PM (or 9:30 PM?), which is a great deal for dinner if you pair it with some supermarket fried chicken you bought yourself. It's only a 5-minute walk from the cherry blossom viewing spot, Ashiwagawa Yukibashi. Highly recommended!

The hotel check-in was originally scheduled for 6 PM at the latest, but due to transportation issues, I arrived almost 20 minutes late. I informed the hotel while on the way, so there were no problems. The room was clean, but the bathroom and toilet were far apart, and the toilet sink only provided fresh water, without hand soap. The two meals included in the one-night stay were adequate. I only went to the open-air hot spring, which wasn't particularly surprising; it was just a large indoor public bath.

The best thing about this hotel is its incredible location, just a minute's walk from the station. They offer a pillow selection, but it's first-come, first-served, so you need to grab one right after check-in, or they'll be gone. The public bath is compact but very clean, and I really enjoyed the open-air bath and sauna – perfect for warming up and relaxing after a cold day. It was also great to be able to do laundry while I was enjoying the bath. The complimentary ramen noodles in the evening were delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Fukui.
