GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shikimi. The staff was delightful. They were all so nice and helpful. We also loved the food and they went over and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The location was perfect for walking to local tourist spots. If I ever return to Takachiho, I would stay there again.

II-69Everything was very clean and meticulously maintained. I stayed in a premium twin room, and the service was excellent - free drinks in the fridge, BVLGARI amenities, and even nightly chocolate by my bed. The lobby lounge also offered free drinks, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay very comfortable.
As you'd expect from a hotel designed by a world-famous architect, the flow of traffic was streamlined, making the standard rooms feel spacious.
The only downside was that the sauce on the eggs Benedict at breakfast was a bit lacking.
