Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from Jeonju station but 30-35 minutes by bus to Hanok Village. Room was very clean and equipped with kitchenette and best of all, a clothes drying/sanitizing machine! Excellent view of the city on 16 floor. Front desk staffs and Manager very helpful although they speak limited English. Across the road have local eateries and a CU convenience store. Level 1 has a pizza shop and small 7-11 store. Only negative feedbacks is the bathroom which will filled with water during shower as no separation between shower and toilet. Overall, comfortable and clean hotel to stay. Oh, hotel restaurant at level 6 serves value for money shabu shabu for lunch @ KRW14,900!

Guest UserWe had a great stay at Lahan Hotel Jeonju! The room was comfy with a nice view of the Hanok Village from both the room and rooftop. The water closet was super nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect — easy to find, walkable and accessible to the Hanok Village and all the fun spots around. It’s also close to many good restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Jeonju!

Guest UserThe room was comfortable enough, But the hotel service from Reception was very slow, we checked in late evening- at around 8pm, there were only two people checking in ahead of us but we were in the queue for over 15 minutes…. Nobody came to help, we weren’t acknowledged by the staff at all.
I think they may have been under staffed but I would have expected them to say sorry/- or we won’t be long etc.
when we checked in the rooms were alright- beds small but comfortable
One selling point to as at the hotel was a bar/restaurant that they had on the top floor- we thought it would be a great place for sunset, but unfortunately the windows face the opposite direction so you don’t ge to see sunset at all/ def a missed opportunity from the hotel here.

Our stay at Geuligobom Dokchae Pension was truly exceptional. This self-catered traditional hanok house offers an authentic experience of living in the heart of a hanok village. Located on a quiet street, it provides a peaceful retreat, yet just around the corner, you're immersed in all the tourist highlights of old Jeonju.
The nearby restaurants are delightful, adding to the charm of the location. The house itself is spacious and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable self-catered stay. The bathroom, complete with a jacuzzi, is a wonderful touch. We highly recommend Geuligobom Dokchae Pension for anyone seeking a genuine and relaxing stay in Jeonju.

For the price, this hotel is perfect and I honestly don’t know how they are even making a profit. The rooms were clean and spacious enough to fit 3 people. I liked that there was a sink and a sofa near the windows. Its going to be a drive several blocks down to the hanok village but taxi fares are very cheap compared to the US. Expect maybe like 6000 krw to the hanok village from the hotel. The restaurant (현대옥) across the hotel serves jeonju bean sprouts soup and that is really really good. All in all, this is no ritz carlton but its 1/20 price and it really is much much much better than the low cost hotels u would expect in the US.

Beautiful place, clean, and the breakfast is basic but good (toast, cereal, filter coffee, tea, jam, orange juice, and milk). If you have mobility issues or very large suitcases, it might be a bit tricky. The garden is lovely, and there are tables to enjoy the cool air. Very central, and you can enter and exit through the bank.

It's just the floor, but the key is that there is no floor heating, it's cold! First time experience, not good. Breakfast is not bad, fresh fruits, many samples, good dining environment. Stayed in this hotel many times, the front desk service is very enthusiastic.

Guest UserIt is very close to the Hanok Village, and breakfast is provided.
They gave us fruit, and it was so fresh, which was great.
I checked in a bit early, but they kindly showed me to my room and even sent me a text message.
Of course, the room isn't that spacious or stylish, but
I think that is compensated for by the experience of staying in a Hanok and sleeping cozily on the floor under a thick duvet.
Oh, and the water pressure was stronger than I expected, so I had a good shower too.
All in all, it was a satisfying stay. I would love to visit again.

Every single staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant, is friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the bedding is clean and warm. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of dishes, and the quality is excellent. I also had dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the first floor, and the food was delicious, and the staff were courteous and friendly. This is a hotel I definitely want to visit again someday. The only drawback is that there aren't any restaurants near the hotel. However, Gunsan isn't that big, so you can find a decent restaurant with a little walking.
