I stayed at the Dostyk and was very pleased. The hotel fully lives up to its status as a business hotel: spacious rooms with good soundproofing and a comfortable workspace. The location is excellent—right in the center, convenient for all the city's key attractions. The staff is polite and helpful, and check-in was quick. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. I recommend it for both business and leisure travel!

Breakfast was adequate and rooms were clean despite a less than stellar sea view. I had a situation where someone had unlocked my door with their key card at 5 in the morning and attempted to enter but was not able to do so because my door was latched. I was unimpressed when the service staff’s explanation was that there was a reset in the security system at that time and the person who attempted to open my door was probably a drunk guest. I had expected far superior service from a family-run guesthouse instead of just a flippant explanation.

The Golden Palace Hotel is located in the Central part of Aktau, near the Caspian Sea, consists of 4 floors, an elevator works around the clock for your convenience. On the ground floor there is a reception area.

All rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, a telephone with access to the city line, Wi-Fi, a TV with cable TV, air conditioning. Each room has a safe, hair dryer, hygiene products, bathrobes and slippers.
On the territory of the hotel there is a cafe "Kazan", which serves delicious dishes of Oriental cuisine. The hotel has a coffee shop "COFFEE GO" in which hot breakfasts are served in the morning and amazing aromatic coffee is brewed.

Amazing
It was very convenient for sightseeing in the city of Aktau. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The room size was average, but the beds were small, even though I chose a twin room with two single beds. They were narrower than a regular single bed, so it was a little difficult to turn over in bed. The shower was hot and had plenty of water pressure. The only thing that bothered me was the narrowness of the bed, but otherwise it was a comfortable and nice hotel.
