4-Star Hotels in Kaafu Atoll, Maldives

Close to the pier, the rooms are clean and spacious, and there's a pool with a beautiful high-angle view of the ocean. The fly problem in the restaurant, mentioned in previous reviews, has significantly improved; I noticed the hotel placed fly traps. However, the Wi-Fi in the room still occasionally disconnects, and I hope this can also be improved.

Very nice and comfortable accommodation. Went with a friend of mine back in October 2023, and we were greeted by a warm friendly receptionist and a clean lobby. Our room was on the second floor, with very comfortable beds, toilets, and necessary amenities. Except that the sink's tap water smelled a little funny which we avoided using. However the reception was quick to send over whatever we requested, like water, clean towels etc. Would definitely book again if i ever visit Himmafushi again next time!

Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. friendly attitude every time we met. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very pleasant to stay in. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast — fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to start the day perfectly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again!

It was a very last minute decision to travel to Maldives. 10 hours before I book then flew over already. This resort is a resort that I see cheapest that includes food and drinks but take note water sport and diving and certain food is not included. Service is great, staff is very warm. Food is ok but not the greatest. One important thing for Maldives is many resort when transfer from airport to the resort needs to add on charge but for this resort is inclusive. If you are kinda on a budget trip to Maldives this resort can be the consideration. Aside from these resort establish since 2022 condition still ok compared to same level of resort. 

Transportation from airport to resort should have included, it’s quite expensive for almost £150 each extra. The room is old and ac is not cold enough but the view is amazing. The service could be a lot better as it’s 4 star hotel. I had a lot expectations as it’s Thai’s brand. All Centara in Thailand is unbelievable good. Foods are not worth the money at all. Breakfast is not good enough. Dinner is funny. Need to book the restaurant every night and every day are fully booked. It seemed like it’s just easier for them to get the customers pay for buffet which £50+ each night. It’s because of bad breakfast we don’t want to give it a try for dinner buffet. We needed to argued with reception to book us in, funny we only arrived in resort on the day, after we checked in we tried to book for dinner it was fulled until we checked out. The room beside us turned on music loudly at 7 am. We tried to use the app to contact reception no one responded and other messages as well, so idk why they bothered to ask us to download the app. Went to reception to report. They said they will let them know 5 pm still turn on music loudly! The last night we went to have dinner at Italian restaurant, almost finish starter I found a hair in my food, I told the lady she came but no apology just grap my plate and say she will check. 10 mins later a chef brought the new one out said sorry but I’m full and I almost finish the old one. So i denied to get it. But as 4 star resort and hospitality mindset is poor. We paid a lot of money but not worth it at all. Just only a view MALDIVES to keep us there till the last day

The hotel was lovely, but what was most beautiful were the people at the hotel. They were all so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. The gentleman that made my room up everyday whilst I was there, Mohir, was always polite and respectful and was always happy to get me water bottle refills. He also occasionally made-up the room with special and unique decor which was a lovely surprise when done. Absolutely loved that! Then the lovely young lady on pool/restaurant duty, Neema, was an absolute delight! She was friendly and easy to talk too and I had a great time getting to know her too. The restaurant also had staff that were always courteous and friendly with me. In particular, Jowel, went above and beyond to ensure that I was always happy with the food and drinks (especially coffee refills) and ensured that my gluten-free diet was always accommodated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back in a heart beat! The location of the hotel is pretty convenient too. Especially for beach lovers wanting to swim at bikini beach and the infinity pool is the best way to end the day with sunset watching. It was an unforgettable stay!

Perfect location - just 15/20 minutes by speedboat from Malé Airport, with a convenient round-trip transfer option (USD 110), ideal if you prefer to avoid long travel times. The food was delicious, with buffet options available at one of the restaurants if you’re on a meal plan. Otherwise, there are several other restaurants on the island to explore. The island has a wide range of villas, and you can swim freely around different areas. Standard rooms are a bit small but all are beach-facing right from the door, which is a big plus. Deluxe rooms are more spacious, though not all offer a direct beach view you may need to step outside to enjoy it. Marine life is a highlight - different parts of the island offer unique underwater experiences, including colorful fish, small sharks, and beautiful coral reefs. The staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were cleaned twice daily, and the entire island was well-maintained and spotless throughout our stay. One minor downside is that seaplanes frequently pass overhead since the island is close to the airport, which may be noticeable at times. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, vibrant marine life, and a lively atmosphere.

The hotel exceeded all expectations. It's an incredibly beautiful, lush, and authentic island, without feeling overly polished or brand new. It felt like being on a deserted island, yet everything was clean, and details like lighting were perfectly highlighted. The nature felt untouched. The ocean was stunningly beautiful. The turquoise water stretched for dozens of meters from the shore (but remember to bring water shoes!). The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. You didn't even have to ask for anything; they proactively offered everything. Towels were changed twice a day, and they constantly checked if we needed anything like water or coffee. The service was so good that you often don't find this level of attentiveness even in much higher-category hotels. Breakfasts were fantastic, with everything you could need: pastries, hash browns, made-to-order omelets, eggs, waffles, and pancakes. There was always a wide selection of fruits – watermelon, papaya, two types of melon, pineapple, passion fruit, bananas, and oranges. Breakfast was truly complete. Dinners were a little less impressive, but that's just my personal preference; I'm not a big fan of everything being in sauces. However, I could always find something to eat. It was my friend's birthday, and at dinner, we were given a specially decorated table, the entire staff congratulated him, and there was a cake with candles. While we were enjoying dinner, our room was decorated with birthday greetings. I was impressed by how well thought out and coordinated their actions were. We also received a free upgrade to a water villa. We spent 4 days in a beach bungalow, room 301, and then 3 days in a water villa, room 506. There's a separate restaurant for the villas, which we were also able to visit and did. That was a very pleasant bonus. Thank you. Our vacation was unforgettable, and we will definitely return. This is simply an incredible hotel for the price.

This is the only hotel on the island; no locals live there. It's a 40-minute boat ride from Male Airport, and free round-trip transfers are available for stays of more than 5 days. The staff is very friendly, with Russian speakers. There are two girls at reception, working shifts. Tamerlan, the waiter, is always on duty, and there's a girl at the food pickup point (not always). They help with everything. There are no problems with food, everything is delicious. The system for different types of food is complicated. For those who have breakfast, everything is clear: breakfast is only available in one restaurant, which is a buffet. Everything else is paid for, and the prices are steep. We had full board, and we could eat for free at the buffet restaurant and at the cafe nearby - part of the menu is free, but most of it is for a fee, and the Asian restaurant is always for a fee. We didn't figure it out right away, but then we found out everything. Full board includes drinks in the morning - water, juices (piqueted, but tasty), tea, coffee, and at lunch and dinner, without juices (water, tea, coffee). The service is good, but you need to understand right away that everything is very measured, no one is in a hurry, accept it and relax. We had a one-story beach house, we really liked it. There are also two-story houses, but they have a metal staircase from the street to the top, so not so much for the elderly and children. And there are also houses on the water, but this is a matter of taste, we went to them in the evenings to watch sharks, they swim there after sunset, some people really like it. The room has everything and even a flashlight to go watch the sharks. There are plenty of towels in the room, robes, shampoos, creams in large bottles (no brushes or toothpaste). Towels, masks, fins, life jackets, boards, inflatable boats are free to rent on the beach. The pool is excellent and warm. The ocean is gorgeous, on one side of the island where the beaches are calm, and on the other it is stormy. We really enjoyed our vacation, we stayed for 11 nights, we did not want to leave. But this is a relaxing vacation, so you won't be entertained by animators. And I almost forgot – there's a play area and a children's pool for the little ones.
