Close to the pier, the rooms are clean and spacious, and there's a pool with a beautiful high-angle view of the ocean. The fly problem in the restaurant, mentioned in previous reviews, has significantly improved; I noticed the hotel placed fly traps. However, the Wi-Fi in the room still occasionally disconnects, and I hope this can also be improved.

Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel
Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking.
Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special.
Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol.
Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level.
Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable.
Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience.
Special thanks to BERLIN as he is only senior label staff who always asked feedback with friendly manner and engage to guest relation service.provided all the information needed about our stay including chekin check out process make everything smooth and easy.
Value for money: Excellent. A beautiful island stay you won't forget!

MayangSabSeaview is a must if you will be choosing any of the Kaani hotels' room. Seaview rooms are often in demand and on high prices but lucky enough to be able to book 2 days during peak season, same day. Staff and excursion teams are very helpful, theybreally do their best to take care of you. Team Octopus(excursion team) really takes care of you and get you nice pictures and videos of the excursion. 1 day tour is a must to get in Maafushi Island. Bfast is decent but dont eat too much if you will be doing the sharkbay tour as you will be proned to seasick. 5 days travel to Maldives as a whole is a enough.

It was a very last minute decision to travel to Maldives. 10 hours before I book then flew over already. This resort is a resort that I see cheapest that includes food and drinks but take note water sport and diving and certain food is not included. Service is great, staff is very warm. Food is ok but not the greatest. One important thing for Maldives is many resort when transfer from airport to the resort needs to add on charge but for this resort is inclusive. If you are kinda on a budget trip to Maldives this resort can be the consideration. Aside from these resort establish since 2022 condition still ok compared to same level of resort.

TiffanymengmengThe island's scenery was quite disappointing. There's a power plant construction site on a nearby island, and black debris floated in the sea daily. Perhaps due to understaffing, they use a mobile app for bookings and promotions, sending 20-30 annoying push notifications from 7 AM to around 11 PM every day. Yet, when I tried to book a restaurant, most time slots were unavailable.
I tried to borrow a pair of slippers, but the staff on the first two days told me they didn't offer them, even though I saw other guests walking around in hotel-provided flip-flops. The same thing happened with an umbrella; I tried to borrow one from the front desk, but the receptionist said it was reserved for another guest and wouldn't give it to me. I was quite surprised. Just as we were leaving, another front desk staff member asked why I hadn't returned their power adapter, even though I had never used one, nor did I know they had such poor management of hotel items. I hope they can improve.
On the plus side, it's very close to Malé Airport and accessible by speedboat, and the price is relatively cheap. For dinner, you can choose between the Thai, Middle Eastern, or Italian restaurants, and the food was delicious! The restaurant staff seemed very busy and tired but still maintained a smile.

DUHAIMThe hotel is beautiful and has the best location on Maafushi Island, directly on the beach. It's also the best place to book sea excursions and activities. However, there was a disturbance at 2:00 AM on the hotel beach. I contacted the front desk, and they told me the noise was coming from the locals in front of the hotel beach. Why do they allow such noise late at night right in front of the hotel?!

CengjingdewanghylExcellent service! The person we called was very responsible and spoke Chinese. We arrived at 4 AM and he arranged for us to enter Bandos around 6 AM, then took us to the island by speedboat at 7 AM and got us checked in immediately. The front desk staff who spoke Chinese was very professional. We initially planned to leave at 3 PM, but later wanted to leave at 1 PM, and he was very accommodating. He got us onto the boat at 1 PM. Just look for him if you come here; he's truly dedicated and professional.

Guest UserThis was my first Maldives trip, so I was a bit nervous I might not be impressed, but it was a nice surprise that I will remember in my heart.
First of all, this is a barefoot island..there’s no concrete, but sand everywhere. The beach amazing and never thought snorkel could be so good only feet away from getting in the water. The resort offers one free snorkel trip every day, but swimming around the island is so good as well.
Bungalows are super nice with good amenities, AC and open air bathroom fitted with quality items (Grohe).
The staff is super nice and helpful.
Buffet is good, we stayed 6 days and food was different each day. There is an a-la-carte restaurant for an additional fee, but I didn’t go there.
Last, the stuff is super friendly and helpful.
Most of the extra are quite pricey, but you are on a remote island after all. You can pay in USD at the end, the rate is close to the intra banking exchange).
There are people checking out at 6am and they get the rooms ready for the next guest immediately, so if you land at Male at 8am, they will check you in as soon as you get on the island.

This is the only hotel on the island; no locals live there. It's a 40-minute boat ride from Male Airport, and free round-trip transfers are available for stays of more than 5 days. The staff is very friendly, with Russian speakers. There are two girls at reception, working shifts. Tamerlan, the waiter, is always on duty, and there's a girl at the food pickup point (not always). They help with everything. There are no problems with food, everything is delicious. The system for different types of food is complicated. For those who have breakfast, everything is clear: breakfast is only available in one restaurant, which is a buffet. Everything else is paid for, and the prices are steep. We had full board, and we could eat for free at the buffet restaurant and at the cafe nearby - part of the menu is free, but most of it is for a fee, and the Asian restaurant is always for a fee. We didn't figure it out right away, but then we found out everything. Full board includes drinks in the morning - water, juices (piqueted, but tasty), tea, coffee, and at lunch and dinner, without juices (water, tea, coffee). The service is good, but you need to understand right away that everything is very measured, no one is in a hurry, accept it and relax. We had a one-story beach house, we really liked it. There are also two-story houses, but they have a metal staircase from the street to the top, so not so much for the elderly and children. And there are also houses on the water, but this is a matter of taste, we went to them in the evenings to watch sharks, they swim there after sunset, some people really like it. The room has everything and even a flashlight to go watch the sharks. There are plenty of towels in the room, robes, shampoos, creams in large bottles (no brushes or toothpaste). Towels, masks, fins, life jackets, boards, inflatable boats are free to rent on the beach. The pool is excellent and warm. The ocean is gorgeous, on one side of the island where the beaches are calm, and on the other it is stormy. We really enjoyed our vacation, we stayed for 11 nights, we did not want to leave. But this is a relaxing vacation, so you won't be entertained by animators. And I almost forgot – there's a play area and a children's pool for the little ones.
