Excellent hotel with top-notch service. I stayed in a suite and was impressed with the amenities: slippers, shower caps, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, a shaving kit, hairdryer, iron, and they even brought an extra blanket – I really appreciated that! The sea view was stunning, and everything felt new and clean. We also tried the Balinese massage at the spa, which was amazing – the girls did a fantastic job! We didn't want to leave; we loved everything: the beach, the food, and the friendly atmosphere. We visited 5 islands and only stayed one day here, deciding to take a trip to Gili. We didn't want to leave, and if we could redo our trip, we would allocate more days for this hotel. It felt just like home, thank you! And most importantly, there's a bikini beach, which was a welcome relief from having to wear clothes all the time. Highly recommend!!!!

The place is as clean as the reviews here, the staff are superb, and the food also is delicious. Roos was ok, and everything is better. Normally I don’t do reviews, but this place made me.

Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

Pro - We had a fantastic stay at OBLU XPERIENCE. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent, offering a good variety of dishes each day, and the quality was consistently high. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great value resort that we would happily recommend to family and friends. Also special mentions to Kids Club. The facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. The staff were friendly, caring, and genuinely attentive, making the children feel welcome and safe. Our kids especially enjoyed the games, creative activities, and the fun atmosphere. It was reassuring to know they were having such a great time while we relaxed and enjoyed the resort. The Kids Club is well-equipped for different age groups and offers a good balance of play, learning, and social interaction. A big thank you to the Kids Club team for their enthusiasm and dedication. They helped make our family holiday even more memorable. We would highly recommend the Kids Club to families visiting OBLU Maldives. Cons - While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, one disappointing experience was being prohibited from entering the water directly from our water villa at 7:00 a.m. The sea was calm and the tide was low, making the conditions safe. One of the main reasons for booking a water villa is the freedom to access the ocean at any time, so this restriction was frustrating and took away from the experience.

One of the best hotels on Maafushi Island. The hotel arranges airport transfers from Velana International Airport, complete with full assistance – luggage handling and refreshing drinks. They are accommodating with early check-ins without extra charges. The hotel has its own Bikini Beach, which is cleaned daily. A wonderful breakfast is included, depending on your booking rate.

Transportation from airport to resort should have included, it’s quite expensive for almost £150 each extra. The room is old and ac is not cold enough but the view is amazing. The service could be a lot better as it’s 4 star hotel. I had a lot expectations as it’s Thai’s brand. All Centara in Thailand is unbelievable good. Foods are not worth the money at all. Breakfast is not good enough. Dinner is funny. Need to book the restaurant every night and every day are fully booked. It seemed like it’s just easier for them to get the customers pay for buffet which £50+ each night. It’s because of bad breakfast we don’t want to give it a try for dinner buffet. We needed to argued with reception to book us in, funny we only arrived in resort on the day, after we checked in we tried to book for dinner it was fulled until we checked out. The room beside us turned on music loudly at 7 am. We tried to use the app to contact reception no one responded and other messages as well, so idk why they bothered to ask us to download the app. Went to reception to report. They said they will let them know 5 pm still turn on music loudly! The last night we went to have dinner at Italian restaurant, almost finish starter I found a hair in my food, I told the lady she came but no apology just grap my plate and say she will check. 10 mins later a chef brought the new one out said sorry but I’m full and I almost finish the old one. So i denied to get it. But as 4 star resort and hospitality mindset is poor. We paid a lot of money but not worth it at all. Just only a view MALDIVES to keep us there till the last day

The biggest drawback of this hotel was the constant buzzing of the air conditioning, which gave me a headache. The room itself was decent, with a balcony where clothes dried overnight. We booked an island hopping tour with Kani and had a great time, although we happened to be on a very crowded trip with about 20 people, completely filling the boat. The nurse shark experience was done one family at a time, and then the drone footage was taken one person at a time. The downside of so many people was how time-consuming it was. The night fishing was pretty good, with about ten people, and quite fun. Afterwards, we had fried rice and one fish per person at the hotel's ground floor restaurant. Don't have high expectations for food in the Maldives; it's definitely not as tasty as in China, but it's not bad and fills you up.

★★★★★ Staying in an overwater bungalow at Summer Island Maldives was an absolutely incredible experience. Being able to step directly into the ocean from my room was amazing, and the time spent gazing at the crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views was truly unforgettable. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and just relaxing on the terrace felt incredibly luxurious. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, so I never got bored and enjoyed every meal. All the staff members were very friendly and always greeted me with a smile, which made my stay very pleasant. The island isn't too large, so I think it's perfect for anyone looking to unwind and relax in a tranquil atmosphere. I can honestly and highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to experience an overwater bungalow in the Maldives! I definitely want to visit again.

The environment and facilities are excellent, and the food variety is rich and delicious. Swimming in the water villa's private pool is great, and you can directly access the sea for swimming and snorkeling from your balcony. At night, many fish (including sharks) swim under the balcony, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a sea turtle. The staff are also very friendly, especially the Chinese-speaking staff members who were wonderful. However, I need to complain about our butler, Mayumi (the front desk said she's a girl, not a Chinese-speaking butler). After we arrived at the resort, we waited for over an hour for our butler to show up. After we repeatedly contacted the front desk, they said the butler might be busy and found another butler to help us with the check-in process. It took almost two hours for us to finally get into our room. We had planned to tip the butler when we first met them, hoping for better service later on, but we stayed on the island for two nights and three days and never once saw our assigned butler. Her only 'service' was a single WeChat message telling us to contact the front desk (see picture). While all the other staff members were excellent, I can only give the service one star.
