Seda has been one of our staycation choices, and we have come back a few times over the past year for the following reasons:
1. Great location, very accessible, and in good proximity to both Paseo de Santa Rosa, Solenad, and Vista Mall which are all within walking distance from the hotel.
2. Great buffet breakfast in terms of food quality, variety, and freshness.
3. Pool area, which is enjoyed by my son so much.
4. Accommodating and very friendly staff.
Our most recent stay, however, was spoiled a bit by too much noise from the room above ours, well into past 1 AM. There was loud talking, laughing, stomping of feet, and moving of furniture. We did report it to customer service, and they acted on it expeditiously.
We had a great stay! breakfast food was good. Kids can play and swim but pool water is kinda cold š
Family friendly! Great Location and Accessible to all šš
Good for couples. Nice view and very accessible sa mga amenities like coffee shops, supermarket, 7-11, etc. Free parking on premises and easy check in. The best yung breakfast buffet nila, clean and maraming options. Nakakatakot lang yung elevator kase medjo maingay and yung balcony sa place namin, yung isang tiles naka angat pero overall, worth the experience pa dn tlga. If I get the chance to come back, I'll definitely return.
The room was spacious and has all basic amenities needed.
There was some housekeeping issue but the staff were prompt to address it.
Breakfast was included and was sufficient.
Escala truly boasts one of the most stunning locations and the best infinity pool in Tagaytay. The team is warm and accommodating, big shout out to the security guards, bellmen, and housekeeping for their friendliness and helpfulness.
Just a small tip for the front desk team, particularly the receptionist who handled our check-in: it would be helpful to briefly go over the reservation details and share a bit of information about the hotelās amenities during the check-in process. This isnāt a complaint, just a friendly suggestion from someone also working in the hospitality industry, so guests wonāt need to ask for every detail later on. Again i dont wanna put someone on a bad light.
The room is a bit old overall, the health is average, there is no phone in the room. There is a restaurant in the lobby downstairs and the taste is not bad. The hotel seems to have a area under renovation.
The room was clean and smells good. Bath towels prepared and bedsheets were freshly changed. We had a beautiful view of fog in the morning too. The unit owner was responsive and Ms. Mylene (caretaker) assisted us to check in and made sure everything was working well. We had some issues with the slow internet but we were able to fix it. We recommend this unit for your staycation. My sister and I enjoyed our stay. Will rebook again.
Went there to recharge for a night and I can stay that there are only 2 things that disappointed me there.First, we happen to be placed besides a room that has a baby crying nonstop at 2am in the morning and 2nd, the crispy wings are super small like it came from a tiny bantam chicken. Though the pizza and other items in their bfast buffet are all super delicious.
For the positives, the staff are all very courteous and friendly. Room is clean and spacious with complete ammenities though it is not that soundproof since we can hear the crying baby next door at 2am.
The animals are the stars of my stay and they are so entertaining and very eager to chow down the feeds. I can probably stay there for the entire day if not for the rain that comes and goes.
Over all I'll be glad to stay at their hotel again and just vibe with the geese, chicken and the peacocks.
The room was nice and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very accessible. My only concern is they clean the room on the 2nd night even though we don't request it. We are shocked when we are back in the room š.We really appreciate the initiative but we hope next time, ask permission first. And for the pool, it's too cold. Hoping next time you will have a heated pool š
The overall experience was good. We will be back again.
The room we booked was very spacious, and has a very nice view. However, the AC stopped working in the middle of the night, and when housekeeping checked went to check, it turned on but the noise was too loud and no cold air coming out. So we were transferred to a another room which had no view, smaller tv with a very sqeaky/noisy mattress. Every move we made, it made a noise, it was not what we have expected to experience from a 4star hotel. It was disappointing and the whole fiasco had disrupted our sleep so bad that we left the hotel even more tired. Not sure if i want to go back here anymore.

GGuest UserWhat really set this hotel apart was the outstanding service. Every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant, was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety as well
The only minor thing was that the aircon was leaking but immediately addressed by the maintenance, but it didn't detract from our overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and hope to return soon!ā

GGuest UserI rarely leave voluntary feedback for hotels we stay at,
but this one definitely deserves it.
Brittany Hotel is fairly new. We have been meaning to try it for a while since we always pass by it along Daang Hari. We initially booked just an overnight stay to relax a bit. Unexpectedly, we ended up coming back the very next day when we needed a place to stay for another three days and two nights. I asked the same receptionist, Ken, who assisted us during our first check-in if the deluxe room we previously stayed in was available, as we preferred it. They didnāt say whether it was, but instead informed us that they had upgraded our room to a premier one at no extra cost! It was such a pleasant surprise, especially since it was only our second visit. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Ken for being so helpful and kind. The level of service really stood out.
The overall vibe of the hotel is really nice. It's quiet, very clean, and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Although we werenāt able to try most of the restaurantās menu since we always came back late at night, the food we did try was enjoyable, and the coffee was surprisingly good. While the hotel might feel a bit limited for some, as it's still new, we had a great stay overall. It has quickly become our favorite among all the hotels weāve stayed at. š We hope they continue to provide great service and even improve it further, especially the facilities and amenities. Weāll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to our friends and family.

GGuest UserPROS: We enjoyed our stay although itās only for 1 night. We tried to extend for another day but they were fully booked. The place is nice, rooms are clean & spacious with a good view of the Taal Lake. We had a relaxing massage we booked in their Spa after a day of swimming. We also enjoyed our dinner and drinks at terraza restaurant mainly because of the live music and very accommodating & friendly staff.
CONS: The place was a bit busy & noisy as there were a lot of guests. This place, apparently,is a popular venue for some companyās team building, so expect lots of busses and employees/ guests doing team building activities, lots of people in the swimming pool & in restaurant (especially during breakfast). There are some amenities (ex billiards & darts) that you wonāt be able to use if there is a company team building booked for the day (as they prioritise those guests), which I think is unfair as we are all paying guests and itās included on what we paid and thereās no one using them at that time.
Wifi connection is extremely poor! We used our mobile data all throughout our stay. TV didnāt work at all. We have to call the staff, about 4 times before finally someone came to check but still didnāt make the TV work.
Front desk need more staff; thereās always a long queue of people & it takes time before staff will be able to attend to you
RRianne JoyThe facilities and amenities at the hotel were great. The hotel itself was clean and looked brand new, which was definitely a plus. The staff who assisted us to our room and the team at Kuna Cafe, where we had breakfast, were both friendly and helpful, making those experiences enjoyable.
However, the reception staff left much to be desired. Despite being the only guests in the lobby during our check in time, we were left waiting for an extended period, and the hospitality skills seemed lacking. Our frustration grew later in the evening when we called reception to inquire about reheating some food. We wanted to know if there was a microwave available and whether we could use it, but no one followed up with an answer. This delay left us having to go out at 10pm to buy food for our hungry child, which was very disappointing. Itās clear that the reception could greatly improve their customer service and communication skills.
Overall, while the hotel itself was pleasant, the reception and customer service experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of the facilities.
PS: photos were taken before check out
EElaiza Belle TanCelebrated my pre bday celebration with my sisters and my child, and despite the stormy weather plus feeling under the weather, we had memorable experience. Loved how smooth the check in and check out process was. The only downside was there are only two elevators in the building, and during that time, one of the elevator wasn't working. Nevertheless, it didn't affect our entire stay. The location was also nearby for food deliveries.
