Overall this hotel is excellent! The staff are friendly and very customer focused. The concierge service is equally excellent and I want acknowledge Johnny. He defines what it means to be a concierge. Everything from restaurant suggestions to handling airport transfers was top notch. Over the course of a week, he never gave us a bad recommendation. He also setup tours for us to take as well! The room (privilege with a full bed) was equally as large as rooms in the US, which was unexpected for Europe. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom/shower was equally large and comfortable. A couple of small dings where noticed in the cabinet finishes but that was the only sign of wear and tear in the room. This was our first time in Krakow and the hotel made it a perfect stay! Centrally located in the heart of the city, it is only a 5 minute walk to the Main Square and dining/ attractions. It is also across the street from a mall if you need any last minute purchases. If you are traveling to Poland this hotel is a must!.

It's like a real hotel. It was a shame that I couldn't use the swimming pool. Perhaps because it was a holiday, I was able to use it at a fairly cheap price, including breakfast. I tried to eat breakfast, but the restaurant staff said they couldn't confirm, so I went to the front desk, showed the voucher, and was able to enter.

I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 pm after a long journey - I was greeted with information that the system was down and it was not possible to check me into the room I booked and that I had to wait in the bar area. Fortunately, the complications did not last long, otherwise it would be reasonable to offer at least a glass of water while waiting for the problem to be solved. However, this is a detail compared to the point: in the room I had no way to turn off the fan, which was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I reported the problem at the reception the next day and asked to turn off the fan - I received information that at the moment there is no such possibility, because the person responsible and able to do it is currently not at work. As a solution, I was offered earplugs, which are very uncomfortable for me to sleep in, but as they say ”better than nothing”. I was hoping for a shade of relaxation during my two-day stay, and as a result I left the hotel with a headache. Two nights of sleep deprivation, annoying ”humming” of the fan in the room and the inability to open the window = drama.

Hotel lovely and clean, the rooms are basic but cleaned well every day, coffee and tea and bottled water in your room every day, our children stay in the room next door, i paid for a 3 bedroom but it only had a sofa bed in that was a bit small. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from. bar staff friendly and help full reception very helpful the hotel is about 3 miles from the main town and we got a taxi that was about £4.00 each way but more in busier times!

The hotel is literally across the street from the airport terminal next to the parking garage. Super nice hotel. The staff at reception were extremely professional, good English and helpful. Sort of odd layout in lobby but found the elevator easy enough. The room was easy to find and extremely clean. I do not think I ever was in a hotel room with such crisp sheet. The bed was perfect for me and I had a great nights sleep. The tv pilot was difficult to figure out and no instruction card. Bathroom was a tub with shower which was very modern. My only complaint is that there is no free coffe/tea in the lobby but next to reception in the corner is a little shop area with all sorts of item to buy. I even saw towels so not sure if you wanted an extra towel you would have to pay for it? My toothbrush was packed in my suitcase and I asked for a “ forgot my toothbrush” as most hotels have forgot item complementary but here was directed to the little store to buy one. I felt this was shabby for a Hilton. Otherwise my stay for a night between flights was excellent.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. Very good location hotel, next to the castle, you can walk to the old town, there is a bus station next to the hotel, 252 direct to the airport, 4.6 zloty about 30 minutes drive, 30 minutes walk to the central station. The rooms are large and the beds are very large and very clean. You have to bring your own kettle, slippers, toothbrushes, etc. Most hotels in Europe do not provide them. The service is good overall, but the locals in Krakow are relatively indifferent and psychologically prepared. The hotel is highly recommended. I will choose it again if I have a chance.

A very nice stay near the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Łagiewniki. The hotel has all the amenities - a large comfortable bed, kettle, tea and coffee set, mineral water, towels. I recommend delicious breakfasts in the form of a Swedish buffet, a large selection, very nice service. The only downside is that in winter it is really cold in the room.

The room size is okay, and it's very close to the station and shopping mall. It's very convenient to take a bus for shopping and dining. If you are traveling, it is also very close to the ancient city, and you only need to walk.

Half an hour walk from the city centre. Go out of the airport, turn right, and walk down to the end of the road. A bus stop is there. Take the No. 208 bus to the hotel.

We couldn't fault this hotel. The staff really go the extra mile. We had a trip to Auschwitz planned with too early a start for breakfast. I asked reception if we could pick up a croissant or such before leaving and she ordered us packed lunches that were ready super early. It was an extensive picnic that could have fed a family of four. They were great for detailed instructions for an out of the way visit on our last day. Aside from caring staff, the breakfasts are everything you could want and the rooms are clean and stylish. Location is perfect. If I could make one quibble it would be having just one English language tv channel news channel. I know that's par for the course in Europe but some hotels are better than others and as I say its a tiny quibble. I would just add that this hotel was recommended by our travel agent who had received very good feedback from other guests she had sent there. She also said that the hotel had been majorly helpful when a guest had to cancel due to weather disruption and the hotel allowed a postponement. The travel agent said that they couldn't have been more understanding. I echo her praise.

A memorable experience! Walkable distance from city center. You can get transport for famous places from there. Beautiful and huge park near by as well. Western and english breakfast with lots of varieties. Special counter for kids! Entry to thermal bath for hotel guests. Of course chargeable. Perfect gateway for family, friends and couple. I will definitely visit again. Few suggestions: Pre book thermal bath and breakfast to save some bucks! Indian restaurant nearby!

We had a lovely stay in this super oldie worldie hotel. It has a completely relaxed feel from the moment you walk in. The comfy lounge seats inviting on arrival & each evening after a days exploring. Hotel is walking distance from the train station & main pedestrian st of Zakopane.Breakfast was delicious & a variety of choice. Rooms were decorated of a time long gone which just added the special touch to this super hotel. Swimming pool was also a joy to use. I would highly recommend.

The hotel has its advantages and disadvantages, but it effectively ruined our stay of former children in the SPA zone and on saunas. After 30 km walk to relax in the sauna, so I chose the hotel from the SPA. My partner gave up his visits to the SPA when we found out there were children yelling, mainly because staying in a saunarium, which is a naked zone, is at least uncomfortable with 11-year-old girls. I decided to give the SPA zone a second chance, but I gave up immediately after I discovered that someone in a Finnish dried sauna had a puppy owl that the child had just played jacuzzi. I reported the reception problem, unfortunately without effect - there is no age regulation, children are allowed to stay in the SPA. There were other problems, such as: no towels, broken shower (the room was only listed when you tried to intervene by booking). As for the pluses: good breakfast, great location, 10 minutes from the route to Nosal. We have not been given the data to test the restaurant because there is no option without meat in the menu. The hotel has business and business clients, so (wrongly) I assumed that it complies with certain standards. I was completely joking about the fact that the hotel does not accept animals.

Customers need to be aware that the owner is not contactable in the event that something goes wrong. It states on the reservation that you need to arrive before 830 p.m. or give 24 hours notice if you intend to arrive later. In our case, a last minute delay occurred and we arrived at 9p.m. We had not received any messages with a code to get into the apartment, and we were left with nowhere to go, having to scramble to find alternative accommodation late at night, with 2 children in tow,on foot as we didn't rent a car. This was stressful, and unfortunately the only place open at that time of night was an expensive resort, we had to pay for this, on top of the accommodation we had already booked and paid for at Tatra Square apartments. The subsequent days resulted in much communication with the owner and the third party booking system we used. The owner was adamant that it wasn't their fault, and did not want to refund our money. Furthermore, it should be noted that on weekdays, there is a considerable amount of construction going on on the site adjacent to Tatra Square apartments. This appears to be a big project that will go on for some time in the foreseeable future, and much dust and noise is generated from the early hours. The location itself is good, there is a little shop nearby and the main road has buses running along it that will get you to many surrounding areas and points of interest.
