4-Star Hotels in Montevideo Department, Uruguay

Although the room is not big, it is very clean and tidy, and the front desk service is also very good. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

The hotel looks quite old, but still cozy. It has a great location in the heart of the old city. The staff speaks decent English, which is not common in Montevideo. They kindly answered all our questions and helped us check in earlier than the standard time. The breakfast is very basic, but we weren't expecting anything more. It's worth noting that the hotel is in need of renovation, as the plumbing is old, and some walls and furniture are worn and scuffed. But what disappointed us most were the towels and bed linen in the rooms: they were clean but very old, worn out, and need to be replaced. The hotel should pay special attention to this.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Not everyone speaks English there, but with mobile translation everything works well. The hotel is located near the Rambla and a very nice shopping centre. To the old town you should choose a Uber. The breakfast was good. I would pick the hotel again. We were there 5 nights

Location: It is about5-8 minutes walk from the city center attractions. There are change shops downstairs. The big supermarkets and different burger chains are just 3-500 meters away. Room: The room can put 2 28-inch suitcases, but the facilities are beginning to age, the air conditioning is good, the bathroom water pressure and hot water are very good. Breakfast: Not many types, small portions.

Everything was excellent. The room had recently been redecorated and was very clean, the restaurant is superb, hotel staff was very friendly and pointed us to interesting places in the city. It is at a central location in the city so it's great if you're planning to explore by walking on the rambla. We hope to visit again soon!

Decaying hotel and installations. Needs repair/retrofit urgent. The room was terrible: dirty and scratched walls, bed seemed to be recently used (although it seemed clean sheets) or was badly made. The bathroom was old and the floor was dirty the whole experience was a nightmare.

We received a warm welcome and were even able to check into our room early. It was spotlessly clean and functional. The breakfast buffet had everything you could expect! Friendly staff. We would definitely come back!

The service is very good, especially the gentleman in the silver gray suit at the front desk for breakfast in the past two days (unfortunately I didn't remember the name), so hot weather, send us outside the door, point to the nearby museum (free no tickets). The hotel room is clean and tidy, but the sound insulation is not very good. I live in a room with a sunny side on the seventh floor. There is a pigeon nest outside the window. The pigeons are cooing all night long! The bathroom is relatively small and the service is pretty good. The restaurant on the first floor is large and has boiling water. The swimming pool on the rooftop is nice but too cold and not constant temperature. The view of the sea from the rooftop is nice.
