MMikeJMJonesThe City Hotel, Thimphu is a modern, boutique hotel centrally located in Thimphu's modest CBD. The rooms were spacious and clean, and all utilities (hot water, AC, lifts, Wifi) worked well. The king bed was comfortable and the linen clean and new. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in a modern dining room that also had an appealing balcony with seating. There were 6-8 dishes on offer which included traditional Bhutanese and Indian cuisine. We found the food delicious. There is reserved space outside for tour vehicles to park. The room had a security box which was great for cameras etc, but too small for my laptop. We would definitely stay here again.

TTongtongThe hotel is a good hotel in the local area ～ but it was difficult for the manager to lock the room type and the hotel to do not match the hotel ～ I waited for three hours at the front desk of the hotel, and changed the service staff to deal with ～ which greatly affected the experience mood. But the hotel spa is very comfortable ～ you can experience it.

GGuest UserThe view from the room is mesmerizing. Food is very good. The hotel staffs are very well behaved and polite. We booked for breakfast and diner. The manager would everyday ask if we are having any problem with the food or do we need any other kind of foods. A monastery is located very near to hotel and every day early in the morning we would hear the sound of bells. We had a direct view of buddha point from our room.
