We visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas. We look forward to our next stay, see you soon.

View from the window is disgusting, a lot of garbage on the streets out there, box houses, feels like a ghetto. Working table and some surfaces were full of dust. At the same time the staff is very polite. There were some problems at checin with passports verification, and room key become disabled at some point. So staff helped with these. Breakfast was ok, not strong varied, but tasty and hearthy. At night main entrance is closed, you'll need to use sideway entrance (follow near 24/7 label)

I can imagine that they have had the hardware ready for the Beijing Olympics back in 2022; but it was surprising how fast things now feel ”worn”. That's really too bad. Towers can still have the smell of tard from cigarettes which again is too bad. Meanwhile, it's a nice touch to also give lift tickets but the fact that you need to have the front desk signed voucher to go over to the ski school next desk (not next door) to provide the ticket card is a bit weird and troublesome for customers. Yes, I get it, it's really two organizations and the vouchers are the controls/ receipts. But you can actually get the ticket card deposit refund all done at the front desk means that the systems are connected. Hence, the logistics is not really set up with the customer experience in mind which is really a shame. Enough with the areas which can potentially enhance above. Here are the brilliant parts and the reason why you may want to come back to the hotel. It's the people. We were bothered by the logistics (as you can see) and during breakfast time, we also hear there is another family bothered by some hardware issue the night before; but the staff really took seriousness in resolving the problems. In addition, my wife was sick in one of the nights; congee was not on the lunch and dinner manual, but the staff and cook were willing to trouble themselves to make the congee (and I can tell you that I have been at 5 stars hotels before and when they say no congee on the manual -- those hotels will just stick with that answer) --> in this AI-driven, RPA-strived and customer centric-talking atmosphere nowadays, it's refreshing if not heart-felt to really experience hotel staff who show care for its customers. This is where the Excellent rating for Service comes from. Keep up the human-side of the hospitality business --> it's always about the people and how your guests feel they are treated, that's how you make them come back and make a profit --> not robotics ! I don't like to waste time writing reviews (but I am a writer in earlier years), and I am having a soar throat. But I would recommend to hotel to any guests who wants to feel being being taken care of.

I recently stayed in room 3129 at this hotel and overall, I had a good experience. The location is excellent as it sits right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a hot spring which is a nice addition, although some areas were not functioning properly due to being broken. The reception staff was very attentive and friendly, particularly one male employee. However, it seemed that the female staff members were not as willing to work. I highly recommend trying the massage services offered at the hotel. I had a neck and back massage which left me satisfied. The breakfast buffet was decent and the dining room supervisor and the reception staff at the buffet were friendly and hardworking. Most of the cooks and servers provided good service. I would also recommend paying for the dinner buffet as it offers a wide variety of seafood. The only downside was a young grill cook who lacked proper manners when I asked a question about the food. He responded lazily and rudely. Additionally, there was a young waitress with a tattoo on her leg who seemed uninterested in working. While the rest of her colleagues were cleaning and setting up tables, she would simply join them and sit down or play with her mobile phone. In terms of the room, the cleanliness was below the minimum standard. It was quite neglected, as they only mopped the floor and it still wasn't clean. There were hairs from previous guests throughout the room. The private hot spring in the room could also use some improvement. The hotel environment is very good and the night view is also very beautiful. The bathtub in the room is very large, the breakfast is complete, and there is a small children's playground on the second floor. The children like it very much. It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in such a pleasant hotel. I stopped by for a cup of coffee in the summer and I can’t forget it. This time I went on a weekend outing with friends and decided that I had to experience it. My friends fell in love with it as soon as they arrived. They all said that they could just lie down here and bask in the sun without having to climb Jinshan Ridge~ The room is very clean and tidy, parking is convenient, the supplies are complete, and the quality is good. The room is very spacious. The special price room and the private courtyard suite are equally spacious. There are one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs in each suite, with separate bathrooms. In addition, the living room is also very spacious, and it is not crowded for 8 people to play two tables of cards. The heating in the room is very good, and the public areas such as the restaurant lobby are also very warm, especially under the sun, which is very comfortable. In addition to the hard hardware, the service is particularly good. It really feels like home. Every service staff is warm, friendly, and even considerate. A friend's electric toothbrush was forgotten at the hotel. The hotel attendant discovered it when he was cleaning it up. PROS: Staff, facility, food CONS: Location First, I wold like to thank the staff for their excellent service, in particular, I would like the management to recognize 我的名字是Meijiaxue for her help. Staff speak minimal English but worked very hard to understand us and give us extra care. I would recommend that the hotel have a wechat account available for foriegners to contact the front desk for easy translation. 我的名字是Meijiaxue connected with us this way, via our request. She went out of her way to help book us a car, order food and buy products. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are stunning and feel very high end, luxury. The building is new and well maintained. Shampoo, soap and conditioner is a lovely lavendar and mint, natural product. Upon arrival you are given tickets for on site alpaca feeding and DIY drawing activity. We only did the alpaca feeding which only took 5 minutes but was immensely fun. Breakfast buffet was well done and more than enough food for only 24 rooms, primarily chinese food but some western dishes. Location was the only downfall. I thought being only 15 minutes from downtown and the beach would be no problem for a taxi. However, it was almost immposible to get a taxi or Didi. There is nothing else in the area so there are no cars in the area. One night we wanted to go to dinner and waited an hour trying to get a car, before eventually giving up. The staff then helped us to order in food instead. If you are able to get a car, its only around 20rmb to DT, when we were able to get a car. Overall, I would absolutely visit again and recommend, Ideally with a car.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the hotel. From the warm greetings and helpfulness at reception until our last day. At first we were not sure that the hotel could provide our special request of a crib in the room, however the hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Grace the manager assigned to us, was able to arrange a crib and bathtub as requested, and helped with things that really made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We had a very good, clean and spacious room and were able to cool off at the pool. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the staff that gave us a very pleasant stay.

It was my husband birthday and booked Shangri-la, It was very clean and have a stunning view. The room has a nice smell. The reception was very cheerful, and they all could speak English. I requested a birthday theme for my husband's birthday and they designed the room with some towel, also send a free cake and red wine. ( I have to mention, Thank you dears) The breakfast was very delicious. We also tried the Buffet dinner one night, it was very delicious with both choices Chinese and Western. The swimming pool was clean.
