Staying at the Xiangyang Intercontinental Hotel was a truly delightful experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and friendly, making me feel valued throughout my stay. While the food wasn't particularly memorable, the dining experience was still pleasant. The hotel itself boasts a unique courtyard-style design with beautifully arranged garden landscapes, winding paths, lush greenery, and elegant courtyards that create a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. Located next to the ancient city, it offers a tranquil environment. This hotel is an excellent choice for a trip to Xiangyang, perfectly balancing quality and comfort.

This trip was a wonderful surprise and a truly touching experience, starting with booking the hotel. It was a warm welcome in the winter of 2026. I initially booked a hotel for that night on Ctrip, but later saw a discounted package deal. I immediately contacted customer service to modify my booking, and they listened to my request and contacted the hotel promptly to change the order. We were extremely satisfied! đ Furthermore, the hotel service was excellent, thoughtful, and attentive. A small note with a greeting was like a warm current dispelling the chill. In short, it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Facilities: There's a library and a laundry room. The front desk on the 56th floor offers expansive views, which is super convenient.
Cleanliness: The bedding and toiletries were very clean.
Ambiance: The location is excellent, right above Metro Lines 2 and 6. However, it might take a bit of searching or asking to find it. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views, half city and half river.
Service: The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even upgraded our room. The robot food delivery was also very quick, and requests were responded to promptly.
This is a hidden gem of a hotel, one I'd love to revisit. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, with popular restaurants nearby, not just one.

Crowne Plaza Yichang gets a perfect score! âš The location is superb, directly opposite the Three Gorges Tourist Center and right next to the Wanda commercial district, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. The floor-to-ceiling river view is absolutely stunning, and the room itself is spacious and clean, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Tina at the front desk was warm, attentive, and efficient with check-in. The accompanying swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. Overall, the hotel is upscale and elegant, suitable for both vacations and business trips, offering fantastic value for money. This is a must-stay in Yichang â I'll definitely be back!

I have to give a huge shout-out to the room's AC and hot water! The air conditioning, both heating and cooling, works incredibly well and is so quiet it doesn't disturb my sleep at all. The heating is so good that I can comfortably wear just thin pajamas in the room. As for the hot water, it's instant and comes at a perfect temperature that's not scalding, with excellent water pressure. Taking a hot shower was incredibly relaxing â truly made for a very comfortable stay!

The front desk helped me with an early check-in and also a late check-out, which was great service. The pool is also excellent and suitable for kids. The pool staff were very responsible and even helped look after the children. Next time I'm in Wuhan, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

My business trip stay was perfect! The hotel is generally quiet and clean, making it ideal for both work and relaxation. Lulu and James at the front desk provided incredibly thoughtful service. The room was spacious with soft lighting, and the housekeeping staff did a meticulous job cleaning. Service was prompt; any requests were quickly addressed after communication. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices and tasted light and delicious. It also comes with free parking, which makes commuting easy. This is definitely my top choice for business travel; every detail was well thought out and considerate.

Oh, my check-out date for this Wuhan hotel kept changing. I originally planned to leave for Changsha on the 6th to enjoy the food, but I ended up being so exhausted from exploring Wuhan â walking over 10,000 steps every day. After some thought, I decided to cancel my Changsha trip, stay an extra night in Wuhan to get some good rest, and then head home early đ! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's a short drive to pretty much everywhere, taking no more than 20-30 minutes to reach any destination! And I absolutely love Wuhan's food!
There's so much to eat, I couldn't try it all: cold noodles, BBQ, crispy dumplings, Leng Ji braised delights, stir-fried lotus root strips, and thoseçźćé€Ąé€ (a type of pastry) from Jingzhou, just to name a few. For the BBQ specifically, you don't even need to seek out those super popular online spots; just find a BBQ joint downstairs in a residential area, and the food will be great without the long queues!
I do have one suggestion: regarding parking, every time I left the hotel, I had to report my license plate to the concierge. This is quite inconvenient. Wouldn't it be easier for both sides if they could authorize parking for the duration of the stay?

Staying here for two nights felt like being wrapped in warmth and thoughtful care. Traveling with my 12-year-old child, I was pleasantly surprised that they received a complimentary breakfast, a small but significant detail that truly touched me. We arrived late at night, expecting a rushed check-in, but instead, a friendly bellboy gently guided us, and the front desk staff, with warm smiles, dispelled the fatigue of our long journey. Our newly built room was fully equipped with smart devices, and all our daily needs were meticulously taken care of. It truly felt as comfortable and relaxing as being at home. The complimentary drinks on the table were a delightful surprise, and whenever I called with a question, the response was prompt, efficient, and incredibly helpful. The most memorable part was the comfortable bed and pillows; the mattress had just the right amount of softness, feeling as familiar and secure as my own bed at home. I slept soundly, and all the travel fatigue melted away. In the hustle and bustle of life, all one truly seeks is a peaceful sanctuary, and the kindness and thoroughness here were the most precious gifts of our trip.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite good, making it convenient to get everywhere. The rooms are a bit small and the facilities aren't new. The price was acceptable during the Chinese New Year period, but the room's cleanliness really impacted our stay. There were spills that hadn't been wiped up, the trash hadn't been emptied, and the water glasses had mold spots. When we contacted the front desk, the staff said they were too busy because of Chinese New Year and could only address it the next day. The parking lot is very small, but the parking attendant was enthusiastic and had a good service attitude. The soundproofing was decent, and breakfast was just okay.

GGuest UserThe room has a fantastic view, especially at night. There's a mirror directly opposite the window, and when evening comes, it reflects the outdoor scenery beautifully. It's truly stunning. In the evening, the Yijing Corridor had a ball game playing, and the resident singer was not only beautiful but had an even more amazing voice. You could even request songs, which was a huge plus.
The hotel's location is excellent. There's a Manner coffee shop on the first floor, and just down the street, you'll find Tea Color Yuese and several crayfish restaurants, all within about a kilometer. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. However, on the first morning, while I was still asleep, I was repeatedly woken up by housekeepers knocking on the door asking if I wanted cleaning. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered something like that.

GGuest UserThis clean, modern hotel boasts an unbeatable location. A major highlight is the convenient direct connector providing seamless access to a food court, a supermarket, and the subway, making dining and transit effortless. Fitness enthusiasts will also appreciate the amazing on-site gym. Overall, the stellar amenities and pristine condition made for a fantastic stay. I would absolutely return to stay at this hotel again.

KkillymikeQuanji Hotel, Xiangyang review
I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings.
First impressions
- Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to.
- Location: Pretty convenient depending on what youâre here for. It isnât in the center of Xiangyangâs busiest streets, but youâre within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that arenât overhyped tourist traps.
Room and comfort
- The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortableâfirm enough to support a good nightâs sleep but soft enough that you donât feel like youâre lying on a board.
- Amenities: Decent desk space if youâre traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch âbudget-firstâ like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosureâbut nothing deal-breaking.
- Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didnât notice any telltale corners being overlooked. Itâs the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess.
Service
- Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient.
- Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.
JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly.
The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

Outstanding
IIvy_Oh1. Hotel location is perfect as the Three Gorges Tourist Center is just diagonal opposite the hotel, and Wanda Shopping Mall is also just next to it.
2. The hotel is new, and the smell of the new wooden furniture is too strong and I guess that's why some of the doors of the unoccupied room (included mine) were open which I personally felt a bit uncomfortable as any guess may just step in to any room to do something silly.
3. I stayed for 3 nights, and 1st 2 nights was ok but on the 3rd night, someone checked-in and occupied next to my room, I was in the middle of my sleep and suddenly a piercing sound entered my ears, the sound last for almost 1 min and it seems not ending and so I contacted the counter to seek for help, the counter staff explained that the location of the toilet of room# 1310 is next to the bedframe of room# 1309, they can send me the ear plug for time being and let me change the room the next day. I told them I will be checking out the next day and I am not use to sleep with an ear plug, I hope the sound will end soon and I also tell the staff to escalate this matter up. During my check-out, the counter staff had asked how was my stay and I told her the incident too. I told her that I am not happy especially when the hotel said they can help me to change the room on the next day, my comment was if the hotel already know of this problem, so why are they still arrange guest to stay in room# 1310?? At the end of the day, I am being given some snacks and small souvenirs and 2 bottles of mineral water as compensation.
My question to the hotel: why put the blame on the design/layout and not employee training?? Why you know this is the problem but yet still allow the problematic room to be occupied?
For the seek of the reputation of the hotel, please shut down the problematic room until you fixed the problem!

AAnonymous UserOverall, I was satisfied. The hotel met all expectations, and its decor was quite stylish, offering a more distinctive design compared to other hotels in the same price range.
The location is convenient for getting around; taxis are readily available. Within walking distance, you can easily reach Xian'anfang, Li Huangpi Road, and the Jiangtan (riverfront), making dining and strolling around very convenient.
Breakfast was just okay, lacking any local specialties, which could be improved. Also, I strongly recommend upgrading the hair dryers in the rooms.
