V central location, less than 10-mins walk from rail station. Rooms are basic & bathrooms are small. Beds comfortable. Staff very efficient (& speak excellent English if that is important). Be aware though that rooms overlooking the river also overlook the late-night bars on the opposite bank, & these are noisy until 0100/0200 each night.

The hotel is a certain distance from the train station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk. It is convenient to take a taxi. The hotel breakfast is very good. The service staff is also very good. The room is big enough, very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the room has a separate balcony, there is sun in the afternoon, Drink some tea to bask in the sun and see the balcony scenery, have a different feeling

Have always loved the restaurant at Eyde but this is the first time we stayed. The staff and location are the best you’ll find in Herning. Booked the wrong date by accident through trip.com but the hotel very kindly changed the date for us. Breakfast was excellent too. We had a nice clean room. The gym was good enough to have a quick work out. Would stay here again.

Unsure on whether we should use another service or hotel we booked with Wakeup on short notice, when we arrived we were greeted very pleasantly and professionally. The room was comfy and clean, breakfast each morning was delicious with a selection of fresh bread, cheese, meats etc.. Checkout was quick and the location couldn't be better - a walking distance from everything we wanted see and do. Would definitely use again.

Best way to describe this hotel is it is functional, not fancy. Everything you need for a short stay is available and they do advertise the rooms as ”industrial” look (i.e. unfinished ceiling). Check-in is only available via kiosk even if an attendant is available at the front desk. The elevator is 2-door style. WiFi connectivity was reasonable and TV was operational. Convenient that a small table with chairs is in the room and overall was spacious enough for 4 of us. Pros: free parking - close to many supermarkets and also the mall Cons: the curtains do not block out the sun sufficiently. Given the long the sun is up in summer, we had to improvise and clip the curtains together to get any blackout effect. For our specific room, the bed sheet had a stain on it (looks like it remained from an earlier wash). For a quick bite, try the Pølsevognen Viby Torv in the park across the street.

The hotel is a comfortable, motel-style, just outside Århus, quiet and with educated and professional staff. Clean and comfortable room, well isolated and air-conditioned. Free outdoor parking, right in front of the room. Breakfast rich and full of good quality products. We also tried the restaurant, at dinner, and we were satisfied. A tip for travelers: if you intend to enjoy a restaurant, book it in advance; the second night we found everything full and had to go to search restaurants elsewhere (there is nothing more in the area).

I have been to other Scandic hotels in Denmark. Scandic the Mayor is one of the best. Everything is so centered. It was a joy to be there. The breakfast was superb and personnel were attentive and ready to help. Maybe a mini refrigerator in the room will be very appreciated.

After Arriving in Denmark from Vietnam for a business trip, this hotel was a stone through from the office where I was going to be spending the next 10 days in Aarhus, Denmark. The Hotel is modern, functional and clean, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect, the staff were always attentive and my overall experience during my stay was excellent. The hotel is somewhat outside of the town of Aarhus, but a small frequent train/tram service is literally a few hundred meters walk from the hotel... the hotel as a small bar where you can enjoy a nice cold pint of Danish Beer!!!

Hotel in the old building, needs refreshment in several locations. The bathroom in the room as well as the room of the summer of greatness is behind it but clean and clean. Nice service, good breakfast. You can't live near the center. You can see the maintenance or owner of the facility to make everything look as good as it is. An interesting idea (except quite popular in Denmark), the minibar is right next to the reception (big refrigerator with beer, alcohol + sweets, chips), guests themselves share and write down what they took and then calculate when checking out.
