You could see a pyramid as soon as you stepped out the doors. It was very cool and there was a hotel with a 24hr bank and atmosphere right around the corner.

We stayed here for 1 month in August, and now we returned again. Indiana Hotel is a great option for affordable accomodation in Cairo. Located in Dokki, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the river nile 2 min walk away with beautiful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the spacious, big rooms, comfy beds. Large fridge, TV, lots of seating area in the room, Also they include breakfast which makes it better value, you can expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff are all friendly, accommodating. If you are looking for basic, clean accomodation it's perfect. located in a nice area of Dokki. Recommend cafe Antakh 2min walk away.

This is our favourite place to stay in Egypt. All the staff are wonderful and make you feel at home like family. Egyptian hospitality is incredible. Don’t waste your time or money in 5 star hotels, experience the real Egypt here! The views are amazing, 1 minute walk to the entrance of pyramids. Advantages: You must choose a room with a tomb view. It is very beautiful. Every day when you open the window, you can see the big tomb view. The tomb will be lit up at night, which is very beautiful for taking pictures. The pasta in the hotel is also delicious. The restaurant is not expensive. Even the soda drinks in the mini bar are so cheap that they feel very cost-effective! ! ! It takes 10 minutes to walk to the north gate of the Pyramid of Khufu. It is very convenient. Don't believe anyone's approaching. Just go to the right when you go out of the hotel. Go up and you will reach the gate of the scenic area! Because the location of the hotel is so convenient and the work and rest of our Chinese people are perfectly matched, you can come to the pyramid at 7 o'clock in the morning. It is not hot at all. The wind is very comfortable. There are not many people in the scenic area. The vendors will line up to let them in after 8 o'clock. You will not be harassed before that. The whole pyramid area is yours. You can take whatever you want! ! ! ! After taking pictures, the sun starts to shine. You can go back to the hotel room to enjoy the air conditioning and drink drinks, or go swimming and sunbathing comfortably. After checking out, go to the museum or something! Very comfortable! Disadvantages: The hotel's infrastructure is still a bit old, the TV doesn't work very well, and it got stuck when I was watching ”Empresses in the Palace” on YouTube.

Lovely staff who saw to all my needs and paid attention to detail. The location is quite far from the airport but obviously close to the pyramids. I did book the Nile river cruise through the hotel and the driver was quite weird. He stayed with us on the table and it was quite an invasion of our privacy. The hotel will probably call and say they have a free gift offered I.e driving to different stations like the papyrus paper shop and oil store, it’s information but a little waste of time.

Very Clean, Comfy and well presented, Extremely accommodating, Very Welcoming and friendly service from both Osama’s, Best Breakfast i had during my entire trip..with a great view!! Great location for entrance to the Giza pyramids. 5 min walk A lot cleaner and quieter than the other side of Giza (sphinx entrance) where i started my trip 10days earlier.. I booked last minute for my final night stay in Egypt as I was flying out from Sphinx Int.. I was travelling by coach up from Hurghada which got delayed meaning i wouldn’t arrive until 2am, I also had problems with my phone so could not contact to inform. Getting into Cairo when my signal sorted, I received a msg from the Night porter saying He was looking forward to expecting me and to contact if any problems.. Only issue was finding the entrance but Osama came out to meet me in seconds of msging.. He asked what time i would like breakfast and asked if i would like awake up call at said time. Excellent warm friendly service, I had to get a picture with Osama in the morning before he finished his shift just to remember his fantastic warm welcoming smile Will certainly advise anyone to stay here for a great budget boutique hotel experience

The hotel facilities are a little old, but it does not affect the stay, and the hygiene is acceptable. It feels that all the local rich people are staying here. You can see the Nile and the swimming pool from the balcony of the room, and the sunset is beautiful. Although there is no one who actively helps to carry the luggage, the service attitude of the hotel front desk and restaurant service staff is very good, and it feels very warm and sincere. There are rich breakfast varieties, and there will be people pushing carts to make traditional Arabic snacks for you, which tastes very good! The restaurant can see the Nile River, and the scenery is very good! If you drive here, it is recommended to apply for a room card and enter the underground parking lot again, which seems to save parking fees. The first time we entered the parking lot without a room number, parking for a little more than an hour cost 110 Egyptian pounds. The second time we entered with a room card, we parked for one night, more than ten hours, and the fee was 250 Egyptian pounds.

The service staff is very enthusiastic

The hotel is new and located in a new neighborhood in west Cairo, within 15min ride from major shopping and hip hangout areas in the 6th October and Zayed neighborhoods and the Pyramids. There’s only two cafes and a small shop next to the hotel, but Transportation is super easy with UBER. Also, the food at hotel is good and staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jimmy and Osama at the hotel dining hall and Nermine at Customer Relations who was accommodating when I made a special request. For those who love Starbucks coffee like me, there is one inside the hotel.

Stayed 3 nights and the rooms were comfortable and the service was exceptional. I usually don't write reviews, but this property deserves it. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating to ensure their guests were comfortable. Omar A\Azem deserves extra recognition. He works in the main restaurant and he really went above and beyond to make sure we were well served every day. We left our cell phone at the table after a meal and he was so courteous to run after us as we were entering the elevator to return it. Thank you Omar for your exceptional service. The Sheraton Cairo is successful because of employees like you.

We just spent three nights in the pyramid view family suite, and an additional pyramid view room (with balcony) for our family of 7. The hotel was clean, comfortable, but most importantly, hospitable. The service and level of care shown to our family during our stay was phenomenal. I would specifically like to thank Taha at the reception desk for having boxed breakfasts ready for us this morning for our early check out. That was exceptionally kind of him to do for us without even asking for it! During our stay, we utilized the following services: Laundry, Hotel Restaurant (multiple times 😊), and even room service when we were exhausted from a long day of exploring! I am so grateful for the experience we had at Nozol with the wonderful staff. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 6 notti con mezza pensione io, mio marito e mia figlia di 9 anni. Già da subito l'hotel e Tamer, che ci ha accolto (l'unico che parla italiano e inglese), ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Per quello che può offrire questa città l'hotel è abbastanza sopra la media. Buon cibo, pulizia e confort in generale all'interno dell'hotel. La zona è quello che è, molto povera e sporca, ma com'è d'altronde tutto il resto della città e di queste zone... Ma una volta dentro l'hotel è tutto ok per quanto riguarda pulizia e altri servizi. Wi fi gratuito. Saletta ristorante e una bellissima terrazza vista piramidi dove bere thè, fare colazione o cena. Il personale tutto cordialissimo e sempre disponibile. Organizzano anche gite ovunque sempre con guida e autista, anche se sono un po' più care rispetto a quelle trovate su TripAdvisor. Nel complesso il prezzo dell'hotel invece è stato molto buono considerando anche la mezza pensione. Se dovessi tornare al Cairo ci tornerei sicuramente. Grazie a tutti voi ☺️

Today we stayed in hotels for the second time :). We were greeted wonderfully and given the same room. Clean and cozy! The staff is very polite and friendly. Managers are professional and competent! The view from the rooftop overlooking the pyramids is amazing! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Vehicles entering the gate of the hotel need to go through security checks before they can drive in. It feels very safe~ The environment of the hotel is very good. You can see the three pyramids from the balcony of the room. There is also a large swimming pool. Many people swim and play in the afternoon, which is very lively. But you can’t hear it when you close the window. The sound insulation effect is very good~ The bathroom is very spacious~ There are quite a lot of varieties of buffet dinner in the hotel, and the attitude of the waiters and chefs are very good~ I will choose to stay next time if I have a chance😊

WOW what an amazing hotel. Aldo in reception is incredible. Very helpful. The rooms are very clean and modern. We are so glad we decided to stay longer. Close to the Pyramids. Other staff are excellent. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed while in Egypt.

The service staff is very enthusiastic

The room is very new and clean, and the location is first-class. As soon as you go out, you will find the entrance of the pyramid, and its super pyramid view terrace. It is definitely the most recommended priority. I have breakfast on this terrace and enjoy the pyramid under the morning light. Or eating dinner with a free pyramid light show, is full of happiness at the moment, although the price of the meal is generally high, but with its super pyramid landscape, I think everything is worth it! 

This hotel does what it says. It’s opposite the entrance to the pyramids and the view is outstanding. I arranged a pick up from the hotel and it was so reassuring having someone there to greet me. My room wasn’t quite ready so I was sent to the rooftop bar for breakfast. This was outstanding. Probably enough food for five people. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The room is fine. I never had hot water but I probably didn’t really need it. Would recommend

Don't be fooled by the dilapidated lobby and the small elevator. The room was very clean, our couple took two children and lived very well. All service staff are very enthusiastic. Similar to domestic hotel-style apartments, the price is close to the people, the supermarket downstairs is very convenient to get some food. You can see the pyramids on the rooftop. It's a bit cold at night during the Chinese New Year, so be sure to bring a windbreaker or a slightly thicker dress. But it's hot during the day. Hygienic: very clean Facilities: Room facilities are average but very clean. The lobby and elevator are too old like scenes in ghost movies. Environment: Really enter the hotel, the view of the rooftop is very good, there will be a power outage. Service: Every waiter is very warm and kind.

We traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

The owner of the hotel is very reliable to help me solve the trouble of asking for money by taxi (if the plane arrives, please let the hotel pick up the airport, the price of 15 dollars is not overcharged at all!), and when I left, he helped me get Uber not asking for money! The hotel staff is very friendly and will often ask me if I need help and I can help! The most amazing thing about the hotel is the terrace, the superb sphinx and pyramid view! ! ! The only thing that needs to be improved is the network signal in my room. It needs to go to the left half to get the signal. Breakfast is a local meal and I am not used to it. The room is consistent with the picture! Stayed for one night and enjoyed the light show on the terrace at night! You can book with the boss if you need travel items! The entrance to the pyramid and the ticket window are downstairs! When I left, the boss asked me to store my luggage in his hotel in the Egyptian Museum, where I could rest and drink tea. The view was amazing! The building is very old, but the decoration inside is comfortable (picture 4, picture 5, picture 6)

I was so surprised when they went out of their way to liaise with my dad to arrange a birthday cake for me—such a sweet gesture! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were happy. And if you want to stay close to the Giza Pyramids and enjoy a breathtaking view while having breakfast, this is the perfect spot! Huge thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable, especially Mustafa, the big boss, who ensured everything ran smoothly. We miss you all already! Very friendly and helpful staff, AC in the room working well, rooms were clean. Offers a great breakfast with a beautiful view! And at a walkable distance to the pyramids. Loved that they offer cold water at the reception! Only 2 minor points: On the second floor in our room the wifi wasn't working. Adress on google maps is not clear, name of the hotel is called: 'the great pyramids view' for one or another reason with no recognisable pictures of the hotel itself what can lead to confusion when you're trying to find your way back. Overall a great experience for a very good price, would recommend!

Booked on Ctrip, checkin the same day, the waiter didn't receive my order and asked me to resubmit $ 20 to rebook. Find Ctrip to deal with, Ctrip is very enthusiastic and has repeatedly confirmed that the communication with the booking agent is paid and no further payment is required. After communicating for one morning, I decided to refund the order and go to another hotel for reservation. As a result, when the waiter saw that I was going to die, he refused to pay an additional 20 dollars and immediately made a mistake at 180 degrees. Let me live right away. I'm drunk too. Quite frankly, it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Cairo. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very hospitable and deals with the guests. I felt at home from the kind treatment that I dealt with from the staff, especially from the internal supervision staff. I especially thank Miss Fatma, as she is one of the most helpful employees. I really want to visit this hotel again for this respectful and high hospitality

Hotel well located, courtyard staff, top dining room, quite varied breakfast but cleaning of the rooms and especially the bathrooms is to improve
