GGuest UserA short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured.
Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel.
As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you.
Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

Hhxm.trxvxlOur best stay in Spain. The staffs were all friendly. I only managed to catch a few people’s names like Anass, Raquel, Sebastian but everyone (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast staffs) in the hotel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. For example, Sebastian offered a pair of scissors without us even asking when he saw us repacking our luggage at the lobby. Everyday we went out and returned, everyone would greet us. We truly felt the warm welcome and friendliness of the Spanish through them. Very glad to book this hotel even though the hotel may be slightly more expensive than other hotels in Barcelona. Housekeeping seems to be done twice daily too (they will leave us chocolates on our bed every evening which is extremely sweet of them). Housekeeping team also sprayed fragrance on our little pillows which we brought with us on the trip (no other hotels have done so for us into past).
One more thing to add is that the showers in the hotel are full glass so it lacks privacy. We did not know this beforehand but only upon our check in. Anass and team assisted us the next day to stick privacy film to make us more comfortable.
A pity is that the Michelin starred restaurant located in the hotel is closed from Sunday to Tuesday, so we could not get to try it. The breakfast is the same every morning too but it was alright.
We would definitely return to the hotel if we are in Barcelona again. Gracias Team Ohla Barcelona! 100/100

GGuest UserOne of the best location in Barcelona. It is the center of many tourist spots and there are many restaurants, cafes, shops near the hotel.
And room was very clean and well-maintained. The pool area was also very relaxing and the staffs were very kind, especially a man at the bar.

GGuest UserAfter a lot of deliberation and some safety concerns, I finally booked this place, and it was absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient, really close to the subway. The residential area is clean and safe, and there's a supermarket right across the street, which was incredibly handy for getting food. The biggest surprise was booking a room with a terrace – totally worth it! Every evening, I'd enjoy a drink on the terrace while taking in the mountain views. Such a lovely experience, and amazing value for money!

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious; my friend and I had no problem opening up both our suitcases. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, making showers and hair washing quite comfortable. The location is pretty good too – a bit far from the subway but there's a bus stop right outside. It's super convenient for getting to Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família. The area feels safe, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The staff were very friendly and spoke English fluently, so communication was a breeze.
However, there were a few issues. Firstly, there was no shower curtain for the bathtub, so the bathroom floor was soaked every time we showered, and it got quite chilly after a while. Secondly, the duvet didn't have a proper cover; instead, two sheets were used above and below it, and all three layers were tucked in so tightly under the mattress by the staff that we had to struggle to pull the duvet out every night. We ended up asking the front desk not to make our beds for the rest of our stay. Though, I hear this duvet cover situation might be common in Europe. Lastly, the soundproofing was really poor. We were lucky our neighbors weren't too noisy, and my friend and I aren't particularly sensitive to sound, but you could honestly hear every little thing happening next door. All in all, it was a mixed bag, but for the price and location, we couldn't really expect much more.

海海迷丽The hotel was nice overall except two noise generating problems, I had three young people as my neighbors in the next room, they were heard perfectly from my room. All their conversations, music, tv, laughs... I felt like I was living with them... Another noise problem was lift's renovation, my room 129 was just next to lifts, It was unbearable noise... I wasn't warned about this renovation, so when I felt how walls are shaking and loud drilling, I called reception desk, they didn't offer any solutions or apologies and explained it's all a part of lifts renovation. I asked them how long will this go on, they answered me that it's gona take a few days...

GGuest UserThe environment here is pretty good. These photos were taken on May 7th. It's super convenient to get to Barcelona city center by metro, though sometimes there might be slight delays. There are also beaches nearby. Just a heads up, they don't provide slippers, and the toothbrushes are a bit low quality. Other than that, everything else is great, and the soundproofing is also quite good.

GGuest UserI had an excellent stay at the SB Hotel in Castelldefels, near Barcelona. The welcome was warm and professional from the moment we arrived. The staff were always available, friendly, and attentive to guests’ needs.
The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel is well located, close to the beach and only a short distance from Barcelona, which is very convenient.
The breakfast was varied and of very good quality, with a wide selection of fresh products. The common areas, especially the pool and lounge, were very pleasant and well maintained.
Overall, a truly successful experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and convenient stay near Barcelona.

HHotel maniacThis hotel, being new in 2024, is clean and tidy, and the kitchenette is a convenient touch. The food at Amani restaurant was delicious. The breakfast buffet, however, was just average. The downside is that the staff aren't particularly friendly and don't seem to care about the guests. To be precise, at check-in, an employee named Jenia made a mistake and undercharged me. I didn't know about it, but the next day I received a text asking me to pay the remaining balance. I didn't mind paying the extra, but that evening, when I tried to enter my room, my key card didn't work. When I went to reception, I found out they had deliberately blocked my room to ensure I'd pay the outstanding amount. This is the first time I've encountered a hotel that treats guests this way. They could have called me, or left a message in the room, but instead, they chose this petty method of intentionally preventing me from entering my room. The staff just have a cheap mentality. I had to pay card fees twice for two transactions, and the exchange rate was rising. I explained it was a loss for me and asked why I should fix their employee's mistake, but they just said I had to pay. They wouldn't offer any compensation. Furthermore, the gym is small, and they keep all the doors closed, so the air is very stuffy. When I opened a window, they told me to close it for safety reasons. They kept coming to close it themselves. What's more, when I complained about the payment issue, they deflected by giving a ridiculous explanation that the problem was caused by me opening the gym door. When I requested to speak with the general manager, the female staff member I thought was the GM turned out to be just the Executive Housekeeper. We arranged a meeting, but there was no response, and she kept postponing it with excuses about having other meetings. Later, when I finally met her, she claimed she had been looking for me. They could have called, come to my room, or sent a text message. I'm really annoyed by the utterly unreasonable behavior of the staff. They say Tembo means 'elephant' and the building resembles an elephant, which is why it's named Tembo, but the staff have hearts smaller than ants.
