A great hotel for family holiday. The city on the coast, 3 minutes walk to the beach, excellent food, breakfast and dinner above all praise. We stayed here but went to Barcelona every day. Near the station or bus stop, from Barsa can come at night on the night bus.
The room is spacious, the staff is polite, all hinted.
The room was unexpectedly clean and there was no bad taste. The whole hotel in winter may have a few rooms with guests, but it is very quiet and comfortable. The hotel restaurant can also try traditional dishes. The room didn't even have a kettle and no water. I had to go to the bar to buy it. The bar can have tea and a little wine, super beautiful at sunset
There are really no shops in the town in winter, and even a meal and a bread have to be eaten at lunch and dinner time. The only advantage is that you can take any photo and you can't see one.
The hotel service very friendly
We were half-pension with dinner and we just give you a approved, breakfast well
Three-person room with regard to equipment a little scarce
A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured.
Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel.
As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you.
Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.
Just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. It's not in the city center, but it's a clean, new area not far from the airport, perfect for an overnight layover.
There's a large Mercadona supermarket downstairs with everything you could need: snacks, drinks, bottled water, fruits, meats, seafood, beer, wine, hams, sausages, and daily necessities.
Service: The front desk can help call a taxi.
Facilities: The rooftop skybar is available for walk-ins.
Environment: The panoramic elevator offers sea views.
The room is relatively large, the facilities are a bit old, the air conditioner cannot adjust the wind speed, and it is a bit noisy. The hotel has a good environment, the garden is large, and the swimming pool is quite satisfactory. Located in a hot spring town, it produces many brands of mineral water. The most famous is that the Vichy Catalony, Hotel belongs to the Water Factory Group.
The hotel has its own chapel and can organize activities.
Breakfast is not very good, there are few choices.
Best price quality ratio in Santa Susanna and Malgrat del Mar. The buffets are legendary.

AAndrea_tutiangeThe room was exactly as shown on the booking page. What you see is what you get. Toiletries and disposable slippers were also provided. We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely.
The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.
JJorge Gómez DíazThe hotel is quite simple and the rooms are just for a 4-star hotel.
It's true you're in the park almost.
The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.
The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.
GGuest UserThe location is convenient and the place is clean. There are supermarkets and diverse dining options nearby, including Italian and Asian restaurants. It's especially convenient for grocery shopping at the supermarket, and its central city location is extremely handy.
GGuest UserWe booked this hotel because it had good reviews and was a good offer price through Trip.com in the off season ( March ) . The hotel is in an excellent location of the Marina and very close to the train station for access into Barcelona. The Hotel is very nice, clean and staffed really well. We were a little disappointed to find that there were additional charges ( 14E per night) for underground parking for 3 nights
and the spa facilities were including access to the indoor pool were 12E per day each person. Both these additional costs were not clear when booking and added considerably to the overall cost.
The rooms are very well fitted , modern, light, airy and very clean with coffee maker and mini bar fridge. Excellent toilet and shower facilities and we had a sea view ( although it was over the small shipyard with some background electric tools noise during the morning and daytime but only noticeable when the balcony door was open.
The biggest issue we had was the hard surface noises from adjoining rooms which were loud and affected sleep. Because the floors and rooms have lots of hard surfaces and foot movement in shoes or placing of things on hard surfaces or items dropped or placed on hard surfaces and doors slamming shut resulted in the noise carrying through. Unfortunately we had people in the next room who weren't very considerate late at night and into the early hours.
We cant comment of the food in the hotel as we prefer to miss breakfasts and ate out in Mataro and Barcelona in the evenings but the food and restaurant looked very nice
I write this review to give people an informed choice and heads up.
Would we use the hotel again ? Probably YES , as we would be aware of the extra charges and would hopefully get a room with more considerate people in adjacent rooms.
We have given 5/5 for the hotel in most aspects but only 3/5 for facilities because we felt that access to the indoor pool and sauna etc should have been included in the price of the hotel as it made no difference to them at the off peak period. The indoor pool had hardly anyone using it and the underground garage had half a dozen vehicles parked in it as many people staying at the hotel arrived without cars.
GGuest UserFirst arrived and the room we were given had broken floors that would slide, the toilet was broken, and the window was broken and would not open. When we contacted the front desk they sent maintenance who removed the window handle and left our door to the room open and the window open with no latch. We then requested a different room, we were shown three rooms all of them that their own issues moving floors, broken toilets, and the smell of sewage. The front desk ladies Rosa and Ariadna were wonderful they upgraded our room to a family apartment suite. This room was nice but the bathroom still smelt like sewage, and the floor panels moved. To the hotels case they did provide us with a new upgraded room, free drinks, and complementary breakfast for three days. I do recommend that this hotel upgrades the current issues, although the customer service recieved by the two above girls was wonderful.
SShamozhiyu89This hotel, built in 2023, boasts very new facilities, making for a comfortable stay. Its location is a bit off the beaten path, a little far from the Barcelona Convention Center (Fira de Barcelona). During peak exhibition times, taking the subway is actually more convenient than a taxi. Overall, compared to hotels closer to MWC, it offers great value for money.
HHaoxianghaoxiangnvxiaExiting the train station, you'll see the entrance shown in picture 1, which isn't very large. The front desk is on the ground floor. The front desk staff wasn't particularly friendly; they were very by-the-book. The hotel has a space theme and seems to host many conferences. The room provides toiletries, but no slippers or tissues (though there's toilet paper in the bathroom). There are two bottles of water. The soundproofing is almost nonexistent; I kept thinking the corridor doors opening and closing were actually someone opening my door.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is a bit far from the city center, costing around 15-20 euros by taxi. The surrounding area is very quiet, with a large hospital nearby and a bus stop. The hotel offers good value for money.
