The hotel's breakfast was delicious; it was one of the more Asian-friendly options among the typical European hotels. The place definitely has a vintage feel, but the rooms were exceptionally clean.
The hot springs are quite large in Finland. It ends at 21 o'clock. You must remember to go early. We only checked in at 20:30 and couldn't make a good soak.
The hotel is very big and beautiful like a park, and there is a 60s labor at the door.
Nice room with essential amenities. Nice and friendly staff. Good stay for morning flights.
Just note that you have to walk outside the airport to head to the hotel for around 7 minutes. There is a covered walkway and you can take the luggage cart with you.
The amenities in this studio were fabulous, great kitchen area and bathroom including a washing machine and laundry pods. The staff were helpful when needed and we could store our luggage free of charge before and after check out in a secure space. It also had 2 jacuzzis, a steam room and a sauna which was wonderful after a long day of exploring Helsinki. There was a metro and tram station right outside and a Lidl and kmart right next to it. Perfect place to stay I could not recommend it enough !!

The hotel location is great, very close to the shopping mall, and there's a bus stop right outside, making transportation very convenient. Our room was in the old building, so we had to go to the 3rd floor, walk through a corridor, and then take an old-fashioned elevator up to our room floor. The room itself was clean and tidy, and there was a kettle, but no bottled water provided.
Staying at home hotel katajanoka is the best choice! Super location, there is a tram at the door, and you can even walk to the white church in the city center (about 15 minutes, enjoy the scenery along the way). The whole hotel is converted from an old prison, so the style is very special. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom has a bathtub, but for me who is smaller, the bathtub is too big! Breakfast and dinner are provided, and there is fika (a dessert with coffee) from 3:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon. I stayed for four nights and didn’t spend any food in Helsinki during these four days. It’s really worth the money! Although there is a 2024 Michelin-winning restaurant within walking distance, it’s a pity that I didn’t have time to taste it, so I had to take a photo in front of the door to commemorate it when I come back!
This hotel is super clean and incredibly convenient with a kitchen, microwave, and kettle. It's also easy to get to from the airport, so I highly recommend it. You've got everything you need right here, including a sauna, workspace, and even a cafe. Plus, there's a supermarket and shopping facilities nearby, and the train station is right outside!
We stayed here for just one night and the location is near the railway station and most of the tourists attractions in walk distance. The rooms is quite spacious except the towels smell like long time no change.. can’t find the phone in room to contact the front desk but they did reply through email as a timely manner. The hotel is quite big so needs some walk inside to get to the room, no bellboy to handle your luggage. And suitcase storage is a room with lock but without any tag attachment service. Guest just put the suitcases themselves in and the space may be not enough so some of the suitcases need to be put outside the room with no particular person to take care of. Overall, good to have a short stay here. The breakfast choice is various and food is good
Everything is clean and tidy, kitchen is huge and there is enough coffee and tea for everyone. Favourite spot is the gym room, there’s even a rack and heavy lifting is possible ;))
Location is quite convenient, very close to transport and there is a Sushi restaurant right next to the hotel which close until 10 pm, recommend for solo travelling or couple ;).. a really nice place.

GGuest UserFantastic location and a very comfortable hotel. Excellent service. My only complaint was having to pay 25 euros to use the sauna during the day so we didn't - think at the price we paid for the room it should have been included, but otherwise perfect. The breakfast options were unbelievable.
FFantastic13Overall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing.
I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip.
Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest.
Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion.
Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity.
In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you
GGuest UserOverall, my stay was great. The hotel is centrally located, making it super convenient to get around, and it's just a short walk to the train station. The hotel's facilities and environment were excellent, and the staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning didn't seem very effective; even when set between 21-23 degrees Celsius, I barely felt any airflow. Luckily, I didn't get cold while sleeping. I wonder if this is due to Nordic energy-saving practices.
GGuest UserThe hotel reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offer complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, water, and snacks. It's close to the beach and the breakfast is plentiful. The room size was a bit small, but that's common for hotels in Europe.
GGuest UserBreakfast being included is a great perk, especially with the high cost of living here – I think it's a good deal. It was also really helpful that we could store our luggage before check-in.

GGuest UserIt has bidet!!! 10/10. First time to see one in EU.
Perfect location just right outside of the hotel is a tram stop. It has a grand lobby with a nice overlooking of a Town Square which is good for People Watching. Room is clean and spacious. I was able to checkin early at 12pm.
My only complaint is the pillow. It’s too ‘bloated’ and not comfortable for sleeping. So I used the duvet of my other bed (being in a Twind Bed Room) as my pillow. The handwash container was empty. But the shower is nice. Strong waterflow.
VVinharound Travel Outlook⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay at Scandic Paasi – Clean, Stylish, and Comfortable
Our group of friends from Vietnam had a very pleasant stay at Scandic Paasi during our recent trip to Helsinki. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and offered very good quality for the price.
The rooms were modern, well-designed, and spotless. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and everything felt neat and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring the city, it was a great place to rest and recharge.
We also loved the hotel’s unique design and cozy atmosphere—it felt modern but still warm and welcoming. The common areas were spacious and nicely decorated, perfect for relaxing or chatting together as a group.
The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and key attractions in Helsinki. Breakfast was another highlight: good variety, fresh ingredients, and a nice Scandinavian touch that our group really enjoyed.
Overall, Scandic Paasi delivered exactly what we were looking for: a clean, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Helsinki.
OOrMaryVery nice and welcoming staff! Nice wait staff in the restaurant too. Nice little room. Would definitely come back! The wellness area was a bit pricey for an add on but really nice and chill when quiet! I just would have liked a staff member there to manage noise and groups as I wanted to go on my last night but it was very overcrowded with loud intimidating groups. The location was pretty good, out of the centre but very accessible by tram.
GGuest UserA decent choice if you’re coming for work or business. The hotel has a spacious common area with plenty of desks, meeting rooms, and sofas, which makes it easy to work or take calls. Other shared facilities include a kitchen, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi.
Breakfast is served at a café connected to their Noli 2 property, so if you book a room with breakfast you’ll need to walk there. It’s fine but not remarkable — limited options, and a bit disappointing since there’s a full restaurant on-site that serves meals later in the day. Not a big issue, but worth noting.
Room amenities are quite mixed. I stayed in two different studio rooms - both had some unexpected conveniences like full utensils, a washing machine, and an oven, but oddly no TV or couch. Service is also limited: check-in is self-service, and staff are only available during certain hours. It’s definitely a lower service level than most hotels I’ve stayed at elsewhere, though perhaps that’s typical for Finland or this price range.
Overall, it’s not a bad stay by any means. If you’re here for work and want a practical base in the area, it’s a solid option - just come with the right expectations.
