It was a lovely stay. Breakfast was on promotion at £10 per person which was helpful with a large family. Location was in the city centre and close to all venues for the Bradford literature festival. Staff, especially the man at reception was very helpful . The food shop mylahore and sapphire were 👍

The hotel is right next to the train station. The front desk staff was a Pakistani guy, and he was incredibly friendly. Seeing I was Chinese, he immediately upgraded my room, telling me, 'I must give you the best, everything is new, everything is fresh.' When I was filling out the form, I had only completed two lines and was about to ask him about the third, but he just said, 'It's fine,' and took the form away. As soon as I entered the room, for the first time ever, the lights came on without me having to insert a card. It was also the first time I've seen a welcome message with my name on the TV. This was also the first time I've encountered air conditioning in any accommodation in the UK (be it hotels, B&Bs, or dorms). It was the first hotel that made me feel like it was a complete package (everything was well-equipped, except for the usual lack of toothbrushes and toothpaste). And it was the first time I played a game with a remote control (though I fell asleep after just a couple of tries). By the time I settled in, it was already 9 PM. At this hour, finding a restaurant outside is tough, and walking around a strange city at night didn't feel very safe. But the hotel has its own restaurant. The prices were a bit steep, but the service and food were definitely worth it, especially the feeling of being able to have a hot meal after a long, tiring day. (The fries were genuinely freshly made, and they gave a whole jar of sauce!) It was a truly satisfying experience. The staff here are genuinely great. Whether it was the Pakistani guy at the front desk, the Black gentleman at the restaurant, or anyone else, they all made an effort to say a few words in Chinese. It really felt like what they say in 'Blossoms Shanghai' – even though you can communicate in English, when someone speaks your language, you truly feel their sincerity. For that meal, I fully expected to pay a service charge (and I would have gladly paid it at this restaurant; normally, I'd remove it if I didn't feel the service was earned). But the bill came with clear pricing, no hidden fees. I didn't have any cash on me, otherwise, I definitely would have left a tip.

Centrally located with several shopping centers nearby, and also very close to the train station. The room quality is comparable to a typical 5-star hotel in China. As someone who's not used to British food, booking the hotel breakfast was a good decision; the buffet offered enough options for me to find something I liked.

It was an amazing stay, enjoyed it, though for a day. The room was spacious, bathroom was clean and well organized, the bed was comfortable, soft and very welcoming I didn't want to wake up for check out. Will definitely return. Had pasta in the restaurant and that was not good at all. Needs improvement.

Great Central location and decent size room. Just lacking attention to detail. Room booking hot - no thermostat on radiator and windows sealed shut! A fan was provided. A 2nd small window in the bedroom missing a curtain and blocked bath drain!

The room is a normal-sized one, equipped with 2 British twin bed (Width: 130~140cm), and it was prepared in an acceptable condition. Air-conditioner is available, but you may find that it need to be turned on for 2~3 times a day, as the system had been set in an economic mode by the hotel. The breakfast is a typically British one, whilst baked mushroom is not provided. Nevertheless, the breakfast tastes good, and you could serve yourself with chocolate croissants, cheese, hot tomato mush, vegetarian-friendly sausages, honey, tinned peaches and coconut yoghurt. Toothpastes and toothbrushes could be ordered with a fee (￡2), thereby you'd better rake your own's. The location is reasonable, since the hotel adjoins the John Lewis shopping mall, and there's only 10-min walk way between the hotel and Leeds coach station. Meanwhile, you may walk to the Victoria and Trinity shopping centres in 15~20 minutes from the hotel, though it might be a bit inconvenient to travel to the nearby downtown by bus, given the lack of bus stops next to the gate of this hotel. Overall, it's a foolproof option for someone who anticipate a lodging experience surpassing the average level there.

The hotel is brand new, and the room is incredibly spacious with no unpleasant odors. The smart climate control kept the temperature very comfortable. The bed was soft and the window was large, which really helped me shake off the fatigue from staying in some super old hotels in France. I definitely want to come back again! Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

We have just had a lovely stay at this Double Tree by Hilton in Leeds. It's in an excellent location. Outside are boats and the river a wonderful setting for the summer. We will definitely return for warmer brighter sunny days and nights. I would recommend a visit to the sky lounge, we had a couple of cocktails it was very nice. Friendly service. The hotel is marvellously clean. Comfortable beds. Room a little warm but we had a small window which did open so that was OK. The Breakfast is by far the best I've seen for choices there would be something for everyone. It was excellent. Overall, we very happy with every aspect of our stay, would recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

The afternoon tea was delicious, and although the room was small, the service was exceptional. It gave me a wonderful, unforgettable experience, but I hope to stay at this hotel again with my dad next time. It was a very comfortable stay for me.
