Excellent location within walking distance of everything, courteous and very helpful and patient staff. Tremendous service team especially at front desk and in the restaurant at breakfast who are indeed hardworking and made the 14 days spent there not only a great experience but presented a sumptuous breakfast buffet that few can equal from twenty types of bread and pastries to fresh honey still on the hive tray that you carve out yourself. I was impressed.

The hotel is located 40-50 minutes walk from the sights. The rooms are clean, bright, spacious. Cleaning, change of towels, every day! My friend had originally booked an apartment on ***********, but upon arrival, discovered their reservation had been canceled due to overbooking. We ended up booking the Hilton last-minute on Trip.com, and the service was excellent. The rooms at the Hilton were reassuringly good.

We arrived at the Hotel General in Batui, which we had booked on Trip.com, by taxi, but the hotel was closed and locked. It was absurd. The facilities and size were better than the hotel we had originally booked, but the bed was a double bed, so we thought it would be a bit uncomfortable for two healthy men, so we checked into a higher-level hotel with two beds.
