Nat 李凤临The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach.
Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too.
Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good.
Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤
A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu…
Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar…
Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk.
My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street.
I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️
I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒
I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price.
Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

My stay at The Royal Senses Hotel in Crete was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern luxury with traditional Cretan touches that create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.
The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and offer breathtaking views of the sea, especially during sunset. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the high-end amenities, was thoughtfully curated for maximum comfort. I especially loved the private pool, which added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay.
Dining at the hotel was a highlight, with a variety of restaurants offering fresh, delicious, and locally sourced dishes. The Cretan cuisine was outstanding, and the service was attentive and professional. There’s something for every palate, and I never had a meal that wasn’t top-notch.
The resort’s amenities are equally impressive, with a spa that provides indulgent treatments, a well-equipped fitness center, and multiple pools perfect for lounging. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a base to explore Crete, The Royal Senses delivers on every front.
The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to nearby beaches, charming villages, and historical sites. The staff also went above and beyond to offer recommendations and assist with arranging excursions.
Overall, The Royal Senses Hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Cretan hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Crete.
This review highlights the hotel’s luxury, location, and excellent service, appealing to travelers seeking a high-end experience.

Alex@1966Apartment Stella Paradise by Checkin is very conveniently located in Hersonissos - the main city beach is just 5 minutes walk around a corner, 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the city promenade with restaurants and bars, and no more than 20 minutes walk along the coastal line of hotels, restaurants and small pebble beaches to the best nearest sandy beach of Sarandari. The apartments themselves are quite budget style, but at the same time is very comfortable accommodation option for travelers who appreciate the optimal combination of price and quality. Our room consisted of a small bedroom, and a living room with a sofa bed and a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge and kettle. For those who prefer to cook while traveling, there is a necessary minimum of cooking equipment, but we have ordered breakfasts, which were covered by Stella herself the owner of the apartments. I would like to say a special thank to Stella for all her help during our stay - she recommended wonderful restaurants and beaches, ordered taxi and table in the restaurant, and solved all the minor issues we had, this made travel planning very easy and made our stay very comfortable. Despite the fact that this is not a hotel but a complex of apartments, the room was cleaning every day. And a big advantage was the presence of a terrace where it was convenient to dry bathing suits after the beach, and drink a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hersonissos again.

We loved absolutely everything about the Batis Aero. Seafront location about a kilometre from old town - an easy walk along the promenade in the sunshine.
The room was lovely with a side sea view, super comfy bed, loads of room, fantastic shower.
The hotel facilities were great, the outdoor pool was sparkling clean with comfy beds. The beach across the road was fabulous, again with comfy sunbeds and with the ability to order drinks and food. The sun terrace on the roof was amazing with lovely views of the bay and a great place to relax.
Breakfast was literally out of this world. A basket of bread and pastries with a platter of cheese, meat, salad and greek cheese and spinach pie to start, freshly squeezed orange juice and choice to tea or coffee. Then a choice from the menu of eggs, omelette, pancakes, yogurt and granola, fruits, salad - all freshly cooked or prepared and all absolutely delicious.
Would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel with the loveliest staff you could meet.

Guest UserI have to say my experience at Acro Suites fell below my expectations. The overall experience, apart from the hotel itself, was nowhere near what I would consider a true 5-star experience.
It is a beautiful property and definitely a perfect spot for an Instagram post, but beyond the aesthetics, the actual experience was lacking. The F&B offering was below average, and the room service/housekeeping standards were disappointing. The room cleaning was not carried out properly — empty glasses and wine bottles from the first day were still left in our room until the day we checked out.
My partner also had a fall at the resort due to poor lighting at night. What was most disappointing was that no duty manager followed up or checked in with us afterwards to see how his recovery was going.
For a 5-star resort, I expected a much higher level of attention to detail, service, and genuine care for guests. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards expected from a luxury property.

Can be treated as an all inclusive resort, the hotel is one of the high end ones on Crete. Breakfast is buffet style with various options that should fulfill your appetite and if you eat breakfast a little later can serve as brunch. Location is 20 minutes away from Chania old port if you walk via the beach pathway. To get to your hotel, it may be easier to call for a golfcart service to drive you to your room as the hotel covers a large area. Free gym, and they offer various activities at a charge. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness I would say it is Crete clean. There was some dirt or dust marks on our bed sheet and had to get it changed on arrival. Hair can be found on the bottom of the mattress as well. Pillows you get 4 - 5 options, but I still found all of them uncomfortable to my liking as it was too soft or too hard and does not support your neck.

All of the staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They took care of us like family. Especially the beach bar staff were #1. We were with a large group of friends and they were so attentive and added a lot of laughter and fun to our experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is actually a very nicely located hotel in the city center. Bus stop, kiosks, bars, and restaurants are right outside the door. The pedestrian zone also starts here. The harbor is also within walking distance. The lobby is very appealing, and while the rooms are small, they have everything you need for a short trip. The pool and its bar on the hotel rooftop are absolutely fantastic. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 AM, even though check-in was advertised for 3 PM. Of course, we would have liked to check into our room by 1 PM or 2 PM. Despite asking multiple times, we were continuously put off, and it really did end up being 3 PM... This is a high-level complaint, but it's also the only drawback. We would definitely book again on our next trip to Heraklion.

The location of the hotel is definitely very good and a plus point.
We were greeted in a friendly manner and the lady at the bar gave us a welcome drink. The hotel looks quite high-quality at the entrance and you feel like you're in good hands. I would say it's not 5-star level, but around 3.5-4 absolutely.
The room we were given unfortunately had no windows (the description said there was one). No problem for us. Our biggest criticism is that there was no door in the shower because it had been removed. So you couldn't shower properly without water spraying outside. When we told reception, they just said ”we didn't know” and preferred to answer the ringing phone and leave the guest standing there. Who would know if not the hotel, so unfortunately it's far from 5-star service. We expected a small apology and that the problem would be taken care of. I think it's a real shame that you pay so much money and then get a room that doesn't meet the standard and isn't really at the level you want it to be given to guests. Luckily we only spent one day here and had previously spent the week in a real 5-star hotel.
I can really only give this hotel 3/5 stars overall.
