Guest UserThe hotel is brand new, with beautifully finished, spacious rooms. The lobby is also tastefully designed, with comfortable sofas that create a welcoming atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the service and management do not yet match the quality of the physical facilities. The health club is unmanned, with the spa and sauna seemingly left to their own devices. Guests have to ask the receptionist to call a staff member to provide towels and turn on the facilities. There is also no bench or seating area where guests can relax after using the sauna.
The rooftop restaurant is ideally located and nicely maintained, offering a setting that could be excellent for both breakfast and dining. Sadly, however, the quality of the food was disappointing.
There was also an issue at checkout. Although I had already paid for my entire stay through Trip.com, the receptionist asked me to pay again. Fortunately, the matter was resolved satisfactorily after a phone call with a more senior member of staff.
Overall, this could be an excellent hotel. The building, rooms, lobby and facilities have considerable potential, but the hotel needs much more professional and attentive management to bring the overall experience up to the standard its impressive physical facilities deserve.

It was my first time to Iraq, and this hotel was considered quite good there. I told the taxi drivers that everyone knew that there was security check at the entrance, so it was relatively safe. The hotel staff were also very enthusiastic, and the sockets in the room were Chinese interfaces, so there was no need to bring a converter.

Ece-I was in Baghdad for a business trip. On the evening I checked in, my schedule unexpectedly changed, leaving me with a free day the next day. Knowing Baghdad has many famous attractions, but having done no prior research and not speaking the local language, I decided to try my luck and contacted the hotel manager to explain my needs. To my surprise, the hotel not only offered car rental services (with SUV and commercial van options) but, within a short while, also connected me with Ali, a local guide who spoke excellent English. Both the car rental and guide fees were very reasonable, quite unlike the exorbitant prices I'd seen through other channels.
The next day, I directly explored Baghdad's Old City and the ruins of Babylon. The entire experience was incredibly smooth; the driver was exceptionally careful, and the guide provided a wealth of historical insights.
By the time I got back to the hotel, it was already past 3 PM. When the hotel manager learned I hadn't had lunch yet, he thoughtfully arranged for the kitchen to freshly prepare a serving of handmade noodles with two small cold dishes. It was incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious.
This hotel truly left me with a wonderful and unforgettable impression of Baghdad.

I heard that it was a very good hotel in the 1990s. Many older people spent their honeymoon in the hotel after getting married. Now it is a bit old. The terrace overlooks the Tigris River
