The room was very quiet and I didn’t dare to speak loudly. The environment was also very good. The door opened to the sea. It was pet-friendly and the staff were very attentive. The pizza in the pizzeria was authentic Napoli pizza and tasted great (personally I think it is more cost-effective than the buffet). It was the first time I only stayed for two nights, which didn't feel like it was enough. At least two days and three nights would be the starting point. In terms of transportation, it is best to drive, followed by train and taxi.
The swimming pool is very clean, the beach is also very clean, and you can even see a lot of fish
A very cost-effective hotel with its own underground parking lot (free). Before checking in, park your car at the main entrance of the hotel (only temporary parking). After getting the room card, you can swipe the room card and lift the barrier to enter the underground parking lot (the same entrance for both entry and exit). The hotel has a good restaurant. There is a gas station at the entrance (really at the entrance), and a large supermarket next door.
The room is clean, tidy and spacious, with a single bed at the entrance, so it is also suitable for three people to travel and live.
The breakfast is rich, delicious and fresh. It is the best choice for next time you come to Modica.
I was expecting a villa with a pool like the one in the first photo, but it turned out to be in a small village. The room was very basic, but everything worked properly, the bed was fine, and the linens were clean. Dinner was delicious, as was the good breakfast, with lots of pastries, omelets, sausage, and cheese. There weren't enough vegetables for me, as I don't eat pastries; I would have liked an omelet with vegetables. The hotel is for the elderly. We had a lot of old ladies with us! It was a true paradise for them. They even served soaked prunes for breakfast.
Grand Hotel Baia Verde is a nice resort hotel. Unfortunately we came in the off season so some amenities like the pool and access to the sea were not available.
Our room was a recently renovated room and was very clean with a balcony. The views in the morning were fantastic watching the sun rise up over the sea.
It’s about a 20 minute drive into the centre of Catania. Mount Etna is about a 40 minute drive
Would not recommend staying here unless you have a car, there isn’t much in walking distance apart from other hotels.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel bar was also nice.
Hotel grounds were well kept and very scenic. Parking is onsite in a secure lot.
This hotel is incredibly historic and full of character. I loved its style and attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally nice, the kind you'd associate with old-school waiters. The location in the city center makes everything easily accessible. My only suggestion is to avoid driving. Driving in Palermo is incredibly difficult; I almost mistook the street the hotel is on for a pedestrian zone. Even though we'd spoken to the hotel by phone and they provided valet parking upon our arrival, the drive was still a daunting experience.
Fantastic stay at this unique and special hotel in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. With direct access to the site, our room had spectacular views of the Temple of Heracles from the beautiful terrace. They offer high-quality soaps and products. The very generous breakfast is served on the terrace for an additional fee or in a lovely, bright dining area. It's definitely worth staying here if you're visiting Agrigento, if only for the direct access to the temples before the tour groups arrive. They were also incredibly kind; I had an accident, and they helped us with logistics, even booking a restaurant in the city late at night so we wouldn't go without dinner on the day we arrived.
The hotel is very large and has a spacious and comfortable room. Good breakfast with ipodroom view ...very special as a situation.
Interior parking and friendly staff and available.
The only neo outdoor pool opening from 1 June and with 27 degrees there was a bathroom
We were there two months ago and now we returned with our daughter especially for the wellness center, the only difference and that compared to before it was unlimited now is 70 minutes and we have to do everything quickly. Clean but small rooms and the third bed was a bed chair, excellent breakfast with wonderful view, recommended.

GGuest UserThe room has an unbeatable sea view, facing the sea with flowers blooming in spring, and you can also see the misty Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. It is a bit expensive to take a taxi from the train station to the mountain for 25 euros. Young people without large luggage can try hiking or taking the bus. The uncle at the front desk is very friendly. The sleeping bag left in the room by my companion was immediately delivered. I stayed for two nights. It is suitable for a daze vacation
HHARUYUKII think the location is different depending on the purpose, but it was good for me. The large space in the suburbs was pleasant. The hotel was new and there was no problem. The staff is very kind and thank you for your 1 day trip to Valletta.
NNickiR82We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area.
We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella.
The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too!
The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there.
Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

GGuest UserA Wonderful Stay at Villa Sant’Andrea, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina Mare
I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay.
I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future.
Thank you to everyone for such an exceptional experience.
SSunsuntravelI recently stayed here and overall had a pleasant experience. While it’s true that some of the interior facilities are a bit outdated and could use an upgrade, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference. The location was convenient and easy to access, and I felt safe and comfortable during my time here.
Despite the older furnishings, the room was functional and had everything I needed. Wi-Fi worked well, and basic amenities were provided. It’s not a luxury place by any means, but if you’re looking for something affordable, practical, and decently located, this is a solid option. I would consider staying here again for short trips or business visits.
WweipingqianThe hotel is a 4-minute walk from the train station, making it ideal for train travelers. This was my second stay at the hotel, and I was still very satisfied. I would definitely book this hotel again if I travel there next time.
CCasey ElizabethThis 120-year-old grand dame of a hotel is filled with character. It’s not shiny and new and WiFi is patchy in the rooms but it is ideally located and has a lovely pool area and gorgeous views.
GGranster72A beautifully renovated hotel in the old style perfectly located in the central old town of Catania.
Star all spoke English beautifully the room was a upstairs downstairs loft very comfortable with a magnificent ensuite.
Great views great location fantastic rooftop restaurant with bar both indoor an outdoor seating, which was terrific becauseit was quite chilly for a couple of nights I stayed there
