We really love this hotel. Location is great as it is next to a garden and historical tea house. It's a short walk to Inuyama Castle and we do have the castle as our lovely breakfast view.
The room is big and comes with a balcony with a nice view of the surrounding area. There is also an onsen at the hotel with indoor and outdoor baths!
Hotel is also a short, scenic walk from the train station. I would love to come back again!

First off, the location is excellent; it's right above Nagoya Station, with Takashimaya and Gate Tower malls, and Meitetsu Department Store, just downstairs. It's great for shopping and convenient for transportation. The room itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. Being on a high floor, the room offers a fantastic view, and you can see the entire Nagoya city nightscape. On another note, the hotel's parking costs 3200 yen per day, and the entrance to the parking lot is incredibly difficult to find. We were driving and almost went crazy trying to locate it! Because the hotel is on top of a major station building, the parking entrance is on a small side street behind the hotel. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I would definitely book again next time.

The lobby has a great artistic vibe. The hotel's location is superb, and nearby convenience stores are very handy. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, making it more suitable for families traveling by private car or chartered vehicle. On the bright side, the rooms are significantly more spacious than what you typically find in other Japanese hotels.
Walking distance from the airport terminal. From T1, go to the end of the connecting hall on the third floor and take the stairs down to reach it.
The front desk upgraded me to a sea-view room, which had the same view as the restaurant. There's also a mini-supermarket on the first floor. Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle bus, which I used in the morning and found very convenient.

The mattress was very comfortable; I slept soundly during our two-night stay with my family of three. It’s a nice hotel, quiet despite being in a bustling area. Getting here from Centrair airport is super convenient – just one direct bus stop, no need to transfer to the subway. Just a heads-up, make sure to check the bus schedule carefully. We missed our bus by literally a minute and even ran to the wrong exit. We watched it pull away right on time, not a second late. I was so out of breath from running but still couldn't make it – quite an unforgettable experience!

## Facilities
Overall, the facilities at Tiad Hotel are quite comprehensive, and the property is very spacious. However, considering modern user expectations, it lacks screen mirroring functionality, which I believe could be improved. Additionally, the toilet flush is quite loud after use; I'd suggest optimizing that.
## Cleanliness
Although the rooms are large, it's clear that the cleaning staff are very meticulous. Having stayed in Japan many times, this is one of the cleaner hotels I've encountered. It certainly lives up to its standards.
## Ambiance
From the moment you enter, throughout the lobby, gym, pool, and even the rooms – despite some areas not being exceptionally vast – cleanliness is evident at every turn.
## Service
There's a welcoming service right at the hotel entrance, consistently available morning and night. Check-in was pleasant and friendly, with Chinese-speaking staff on hand. However, I found the Chinese-speaking staff to be slightly less enthusiastic than their Japanese colleagues. When I encountered issues during my stay and called the front desk, the response was very quick. Other than the slightly high price, this hotel is essentially excellent.
## Exclusive Guest Perks
Regarding the exclusive guest perks: these were excellent, and the swimming pool is also very beautiful. However, swimming requires an appointment, and one day I couldn't secure a slot, so I had to book for the next morning. This was a real pity and my only regret.

The airport shuttle drops you off right at the hotel entrance. Since I arrived early, the front desk attendant kindly offered to store my luggage. When I returned in the evening after exploring, I checked in. My room was on the 16th floor, as requested, and the bed was set up exactly how I wanted it. Despite facing the street, the room was incredibly quiet; I couldn't hear any noise from outside or the hallway.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 6-7 minute walk from Fushimi Station, which is only one stop away from both Nagoya Station and Sakae Station. The hotel exudes an old-money charm, but it's exceptionally well-maintained, elegant, and spotless. The staff greeted every guest warmly. The room was quite spacious, and having a walk-in closet was a great bonus. It was cleaned daily, and the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. The toiletries were Bulgari.
Across from the hotel is Shimo-en Park, and the airport shuttle stop is right by the park, making it very convenient for families with multiple pieces of luggage or elderly members. Overall, the Nagoya Kanko Hotel left a profoundly positive impression on my trip to Nagoya.

On our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

After a month and a half, I flew to Nagoya again and chose to stay at the Hilton once more. This time, I got a really good deal on the room, I'm not sure why. Even though it was closer to Christmas and the annual conference season, and the hotel occupancy was much higher than in late October, the price was over 300 RMB cheaper per night compared to my stay then. Overall, there's not much new to say about the hotel; it's not my first review. The room is very spacious, and the location is super convenient for getting around and transportation.
This was my second stay here. The room isn't huge, but it has a great view, and the bathroom is spacious with both a tub and a shower. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's good that all three Nagoya specialties are available. This time, I specifically chose the executive lounge. In the afternoon, there were desserts, and in the evening, cheese, cold cuts, and fruit. All the alcoholic drinks were self-pour; there were no freshly mixed cocktails.

AAnonymous UserThere were some issues with communication at the front desk. Initially, when checking in, I was given a room on the top floor and thought it was a pleasant surprise due to a previous request I'd made to the hotel. However, after trying two different key cards and failing to open the door, I returned to the front desk. It turned out their internal card information didn't match the room number they'd given me, and I had to wait through several rounds of discussion and resolution. I've stayed in many places, but this is the first time I've encountered such a situation, and there was no further communication or explanation afterward.
Breakfast arrangements were also quite odd. Despite the long queue of guests in the morning, staff only communicated with the first group in line, and no one came out to explain how long the wait would be or how many people were ahead. When we finally got seated, we noticed there were actually empty tables inside, but for some reason, we were made to wait for a long time without any explanation. This was quite an unexpected experience during a trip with friends; we really couldn't understand these operational choices.

MM34403****1. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the Sakae shopping district, surrounded by numerous department stores and offering convenient transportation. If you're coming by subway, take exit 13 (which only has stairs) – but don't climb the stairs! Don't climb the stairs! Don't climb the stairs! Instead, walk straight ahead until you see a mall entrance, go inside, turn right, walk all the way to the end, turn left, and walk straight through the automatic doors. You'll then be on B1 of the hotel! The check-in desk is on the 24th floor.
2. The hotel room's design is quite clever, featuring many hidden storage spaces, which is rather interesting. The room is very clean, and the amenities are comprehensive. Both the daytime and nighttime window views are fantastic! Oh, and there's a FamilyMart convenience store and a drug store on B1, which is very convenient.
3. Nearby landmarks include the Nagoya TV Tower and the famous Atsuta Houraiken for hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice, served three ways). If you want to go to Takashimaya at JR Station, it's just two subway stops away.
All in all, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

PpennyxkThe hotel's location is quite good; it's not far from the station or Sakae, and it's a relatively quiet area. There's a FamilyMart nearby, which is very convenient for shopping, and plenty of highly-rated restaurants, making dining very easy.
The room size is decent for the price, offering good value for money, but it doesn't have a bathtub, which is quite unusual for Japan.

GGuest UserPerfect layover spot! Just a 3-min covered walk to Chubu Centrair Airport and train station. Spacious, clean rooms with comfy beds and free WiFi. Staff are super friendly, offering all-day complimentary coffee. The free breakfast buffet—scrambled eggs, rice, fresh bread—is a highlight. Great value for transit travelers. Highly recommend for stress-free stays!
