Very Good
SStaliciousWe had a pleasant stay in general. However, room ceaning service needs to be improved. Our group of people have a few bad experiences.
1) after returning to room after the day, there was a used mask left in the bathroom. There’s also a day without providing onsen towels and we had to bring over the mid size ones
2) the door of my friend’s room remained open after the cleaning service (a 3M sticker with なすし2 sticked on wall). Glad there’s no missing items
3) another room, there was blood and urine stint left on the toilet cover!
I hope the hotel can take it seriously as it indeed ruins the brand of IHG and bad customer experience.
GGuest UserWould definitely stay again!
Location: Right next to the station, and the bus stop for Kagura Ski Resort is right outside the door.
Environment: Clean and the bed was comfortable.
Amenities: They have a large public bath, and self-service luggage storage after check-out.
Value: Great value for money, no complaints so far!
GGuest UserThe main reason for staying at the Hongyeguan Hotel was its convenient location for cherry blossom viewing in the north. It's only a little over half an hour's drive to the exhibition center. The hotel includes two meals: a buffet breakfast and dinner. After cherry blossom viewing, guests can enjoy various delicacies such as king crab, soak in the hot springs, and there are even ethnic performances in the evening. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom on the day we checked in, and Hongyeguan was surrounded by them – it was beautiful!
AAmanda ChngDecent clean rooms... small with basic amenities. Room interior fittings looks new, but the bathtub was a tad old. Location is fairly near Kitakami JR station, say 10 or 15mins walk. There's a nice river view facing the back, and good for morning stroll. All else, it was a short transit stopover stay for my group. Hadn't use any of their facilities
AAnonymous UserGood premium hotel, high quality dinning.
It was a bit far from the gondola and you have to kind of climb the hill to get to the entrance, which was sort of annoying.
A place where you can upgrade to priority pass starts working too late to actually make it to the gondola in time for the fast track start time.
We had some other things we noticed but overall it was a very nice experience.
GGuest UserThe dinner buffet was spacious, with a wide variety of delicious items. The desserts and ice cream, in particular, seemed ordinary at first glance, but the matcha financier and rose ice cream were unforgettable. As for the hot springs, all three rooms offered bathing options, adding to the fun. However, in my personal experience, the hot springs at the Momiji-kan were more varied, while the new hot spring on the first floor of the Hanamaki Hotel only had one pool, which was quite uninteresting. I also suggest providing more small towels, as people might be soaking in various places.
LLauri TammeveskiRooms were great and dinners super tasty. There were also other fun facilities like onsen, karaoke, arcades, ping pong. So it was all good!
