This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic—convenient for getting around, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The room was impressively spacious and spotlessly clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. What really stood out, though, was the incredible design. Every corner of the hotel has a strong sense of style, with thoughtful details that create a unique atmosphere. And as a special highlight, the view of the pitch was absolutely amazing—it gave the whole experience a thrilling stadium feel. Highly recommended for both design lovers and sports fans
The hotel is very large, divided into old and new buildings, each with its own hot spring that can be used by all guests.
The hotel is located near Shimabara Port, and the bus outside the hotel is also a midway stop for the Unzen Onsen Bus.
I only went to the main hotel's hot springs, which have indoor and outdoor hot springs. The biggest selling point is the carbonated water pool, which requires you to endure the cold when you dip in it.
The only drawback is that the wifi in the room needs to be received first near the door, and the line will be disconnected immediately when the group goes to the window.
The breakfast restaurant is underground, and it is a beautiful buffet breakfast with sea view.
Our stay at Nagasaki Marriott truly exceeded expectations; it was incredibly comfortable! For this family trip, I booked three rooms for two consecutive nights, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, right above a large shopping mall, making shopping, dining, and buying souvenirs incredibly convenient – daily life couldn't be easier. Situated near a transportation hub, getting around is a breeze, which is especially great for family travel. Taxis are also readily available!
The rooms are spacious and bright, with expansive views and beautiful scenery outside the window; simply being in the room felt so relaxing. Because the hotel was so comfortable and well-equipped, I didn't even feel the need to rush out to tourist spots; I just wanted to quietly relax and enjoy the vacation within the hotel. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the environment was clean and comfortable. It's perfectly suited for both family holidays and relaxing getaways, making it a perfect accommodation choice for our trip to Nagasaki.
The location is a bit off the beaten path, making it ideal for self-driving tourists. Due to its proximity to nature, you might occasionally encounter a few insects in the rooms, but the hotel is generally clean and well-maintained. It boasts a wide array of recreational facilities, along with services such as restaurants, hot springs, and massages. The pricing is reasonable, offering good value for money, so you can easily spend a full and enjoyable vacation without leaving the hotel. I highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing getaway!
The lobby is somewhat dated but has a retro charm to it. I stayed in a standard double room which is spacious enough for one person but would be a bit cramped for two. The room seems to have been renovated recently as the fixtures, furnishings and appliances look quite new. The small balcony overlooking Glover Street is a plus.
The staff at the front desk, concierge and the restaurant are all super nice and helpful.
The location is very convenient. The Oura Cathedral tram stop is just down the street and many attractions such as Glover Garden, Dejima, Confucius Shrine & Museum, Holland Zaka, Gunkanjima Digital Museum are within walking distance.
The hotel bedding is comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. The facilities are complete, and the soundproofing is good. Overall, the stay experience was excellent, offering great value for money. It's highly recommended, and the staff are very enthusiastic. It's a hotel with a lot of character.
Very nice hotel, the night view at night is very beautiful, the hot spring is very comfortable, the room is very old but the bed is very comfortable, you can go directly up the mountain to see the night view of Nagasaki. Very suitable for couples.
The Olive Bay Hotel is very good and can be said to be perfect. Convenient for self-driving, I rely on public transportation, the hotel is on the big island next to Sasebo, and the boat is within 10 minutes of Sasebo Station. I missed it at 1:30 in the afternoon and waited until 4:25. The boat was opened 15 minutes before the boat opened. There was a difference between holidays. Apple navigation is accurate, half an hour to the big island, there is no information office at the pier, no staff, no rental, fortunately someone called a taxi, I also let him send, he sent the last guest to pick me up, the pier to the hotel 7 minutes, Apple navigation said that walking for 15 minutes is definitely not possible, At least forty minutes. It was so beautiful to arrive at the hotel, regretting the three hours I wasted at Sasebo Pier. The room is also super good and can't pick any shortcomings. Carefully observe the hotel details are perfect, extremely clean and bright, and the maintenance is very good. The two meals with two meals are delicious and formal. The dinner red wine beef and the nature of the performance are excellent. The beef quality is excellent. The freshly cooked siphon coffee for breakfast is really delicious. The staff were all warm and serious. After checking out, they sent me to the pier. The hotel I wanted to stay in was much better than Beppu Intercontinental.
Beautiful and clean hotel. 15 mins by taxi to Huis Ten Bosch. Be mindful of your time leaving to he train station by taxi if you're going to the Fukuoka Airport. It could be tight. Otherwise, it's pretty inside. The food was pretty good and pretty modern compared to other hotels we've seen closer to the theme park. I'd definitely stay again.
