Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives

It was our first time in Maldives and i am glad that we chose Centara Grand. I would like to special mention - The F&B Manager Venky, Bar mixologist Sathish, Shisha Expert Vivek, F&B outlet manager Senthil, Coral Bar manager - Shalem for their amazing service... thank you so much for making our stay a wonderful one. Lots of credit would be to you... The staffs there were very friendly and welcoming. Its a perfect location for snorkelling, kayaking and swim. We had booked the deluxe water villas which had direct access to the beach... from our rooms we could see the marine fishes such as Dory fish... The rooms were very clean and they even decorated our rooms for our honeymoon. With regards to the location, Its located directly 25 minutes from the seaplane airport. However, it will take 45 min to an hour in just the sea plane before u reach the hotel because they will drop or pick up other passengers too from other hotels. So it can be quite tiring. While our departure we waited for an hour just waiting for the guest to arrive..
Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa

It's a great resort. The facilities are not very luxurious, but they are very thoughtful and have everything you need. The water house also has a jacuzzi, which is very enjoyable. The scenery is great, and you can see a lot of things while snorkeling. You can usually see small sharks on the beach while walking around the resort. At this accommodation price, it is a perfect experience. There are very few Chinese people here. I saw two on the first day on the island, but none after that. They were basically European. I brought my family with me for vacation🏖️. The employees were very nice. There was a Chinese-speaking teacher on the first day on the island. My sister helped me check in, but I didn't see him for the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to play well with my loose English. In short, if the budget is limited, this resort is definitely the best choice. You can stay for a few more days. The scenery and services will not be discounted. I will go again if I have the opportunity!
Villa Park Sun Island Resort

The location was good because it was close to the domestic airport. The service is generally just that. I think it's natural to induce sales, but the basic service is not good. I stayed in two rooms, but the basic snack bar composition is different and cannot be refilled every day. I stayed for 4 nights in all-inclusive, but the drinks are limited. I asked for an umbrella, but I called four phone calls and waited for about an hour, and I was reluctant to approach the driver of the buggy (cart) passing by. The food was divided by villa and the restaurant was medium. The island itself and facilities are beautifully decorated, but the facilities themselves are aging. There were many places to take pictures. To put it in general, if you are as tempered as me, it will be shining. Recommended if you have peace and leisure.
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

The environment is first class, the room is comfortable with a Jacuzzi, and there is a wooden ladder to snorkel at any time. Breakfast has its own special features: Choose from the main island Atoll Market and order a free meal at the Vilu Restaurant on the island. When the water arrives, there will be a special person to receive the introduction. It is also convenient to call buggy from the island to the main island call. The legendary Ithaa underwater restaurant is also very special.
NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort

Very good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.
Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort

How do you describe somewhere in the world so perfect? Honestly didn’t believe there was such a place until my husband and I visited Maafushivaru Maldives in May. We stayed here on the recommendation of Kuoni and it was the best recommendation ever. Within two hours of our arrival, my husband and I both said we wished we were staying longer. That instant welcome and warmth we were greeted with was overwhelming. Moosa We were honoured to have Moosa as our Personal Guest Assistant. His efficiency and friendliness during check-in was exemplary which was reassuring after a long journey. He afforded special attention to our villa and needs. He has a lovely gentle discreet manner and wants to ensure the stay is faultless. He had even noticed we hadn’t included a dinner reservation at the Teppanyaki Table during our stay so on his recommendation, we thankfully did as the experience was outstanding. Moosa was always available and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of our departure, Moosa kindly joined us on the boat to the seaplane which was a lovely touch as he knew we were sad to leave. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is commendable. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs were meet every single day which we were both truly grateful. Villa We stayed in an overwater villa which was an amazing experience. We didn’t expect to see so much sea life from the balcony and to have the steps going straight down into the ocean was magical. The layout of the villa has been well thought out; separate outdoor access to the bathroom so you don’t have to walk through the bedroom in your wet swimwear. Literally everything you need is provided. Housekeeping The villa was always immaculate and we were lucky enough to be looked after by the lovely Nafiu. If we were on the balcony during one of his visits, he was always very discreet and respectful. Housekeeping work extremely hard visiting twice a day and nothing went unnoticed; always very thorough and loved the personal touches. Food and Beverage The food was absolutely fabulous with each and every meal a true delight. The choice of gluten free dishes available was outstanding and so refreshing for my husband. Chandlana (Restaurant Manager) kindly arranged a surprise of the most amazing display of curry dishes on our last evening in the Cuisine Gallery. Wherever you eat at Maafushivaru the standard of food is exceptional throughout. The culinary expertise and delectable dishes prepared each day were a highlight of our stay. The choice of drinks was vast and great to have the expertise of Viafil, Assistant Bar Manager, and learn from his wealth of knowledge. Staff Every staff member we encountered provided a constant smile and outstanding customer service. All with professionalism and dedication which contributed greatly to our holiday. Whatever time of day it was, we always looked forward to our interaction with everyone. (We don’t know ho
Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives

The most important thing is that it is a family and halal place, where there is no alcohol, dancing, etc. In general, I want to note the following points: 1. The location is very beautiful and everything is harmonious! A wonderful island. We lived in a private villa with our own pool on the first line. 2. The ocean and nature are simply amazing. 3. The food is simply superbly prepared and very tasty. For which special thanks to the chef and restaurant staff. 4. The service staff are great, very polite and provide excellent service. In particular, the person who cleaned the room is just great! 5. Water activities - enough choice, the instructor and his son are very polite and attentive, many thanks to them! The only thing is that there were no some boats for riding. From what was a little upsetting: We had an all-inclusive package, and fishing was included, but for this you need at least 6 people, there were only 3 of us - and we were denied fishing, I think that is unfair! Since some distinctive features of the package include fishing. The next thing is the reception, which was not very helpful in terms of information, and in resolving issues related to fishing and individual issues. Not all fresh juices were available from the menu as they ran out quickly. This does not take into account the fruit stock. We tried to brighten up our vacation with different activities. We even saw a small shark near the house reef - it's beautiful. We liked everything completely, the people are very friendly. Since it is a local island - we were able to see a little of the local culture in the area. I would like to say thank you and see you soon Mandu and Fiavalhu! And hope that our comments and wishes will be taken into account by our next visit.
Lily Beach Resort and Spa - All Inclusive
4.7/552 Reviews
The hotel is not bad, an all-inclusive island, and I have been on vacation for the second time. All with friends. The hotel facilities are a bit old, I heard that renovations will start next year. You must bring enough tips. The hotel staff on this island generally have a better attitude towards white people, but only you can tip enough. Every night is a buffet mode, but there are different national-themed delicacies every day, and there are many and rich things. The price is once when you eat in a high-end restaurant, and there are three free trips or projects. We went to the local residents island, it is not recommended to go, it is not fun at all and not very good. Seaplanes are charged in US dollars, and overweight will also add money. The hotel toiletries are very average. It is recommended to bring some by yourself, including the snacks in the room, which are not very delicious. Buying things in shops on the island is very expensive, and they are all priced in US dollars. Diving equipment can be taken for free, but it is not very good, and you can bring it home.
Viva Beach and Spa Maldives
4.2/511 Reviews
Viva beach and spa is situated in the heart of a local island allowing you to experience and take in the culture and life of local residents who live there. Everyone you meet on the island are friendly and welcoming, especially those who work at Viva beach. Due to it not being a resort island you need to respect the Muslim culture when outside your room and Viva in covering your shoulders and legs, not showing PDA etc. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the (bikini beach) which is for tourists to use however you can visit any other local beach but should remain covered. Viva is a fabulous hotel, and cheaper (including deals) when booking directly through their website. It is a new building with clean, fresh decor and linens, aircon and the best shower ❤️ the sea view is lovely to wake up to from their comfy beds. They have a safe in the room and toiletries, towels included (along with a designated beach towel). Their food is delicious and plentiful, the buffet breakfast is $6, lunch/dinner $10 pp from their menu. They are incredibly attentive and genuinely wish to give each guest the best stay from food to rooms, to excursions. Raj was fantastic on the snorcaling safari, especially when I was anxious initially. Abdulla, Raj, Mohammed and the team shared their culture with me through food, drink and talking it was one of the best parts of my trip, including a tour to show me the little spots like the oldest tree on the island, the oldest mosque on the island and the schools, shops and cafes. As a solo female traveller I had moved from another island after a bad experience and Viva were first class from pick up from the speedboat to leaving. Hotels on the island are ran by the same family (brothers, cousins, uncles) so you're safe wherever you are on the island. I would recommend anyone who wants to go for a relaxing holiday in the Maldives, with the option of excursions and experiencing another culture. The excursions are endless from ocean activities, beach from dinners, private island trips, even dining with a Maldivian family the list is endless. Island use US Dollars and speedboat is 90 minutes at $40
Radisson Blu Resort Maldives

Because I wanted to stay two more nights, I booked the hotel myself on Ctrip. First of all, I would like to highly praise Ctrip's service. No matter what questions I have, Ctrip will patiently communicate with the hotel and give answers. Let's take a look at the Radisson Hotel again. First of all, all the facilities are very new, especially the yachts that go out to sea are the latest and greatest I have ever done. Secondly, the sea view is invincible. Every time I come out of the room, I can’t help but wow. The casual photos are masterpieces. Even if it rains (it only rains on the first day, the weather is very good afterwards), the sea water is also blue and clear. Let’s talk about service again. No matter where you are, the staff on the island will greet you warmly. Every time the car comes to pick us up, the driver will ask you how your day is going. The same goes for the staff in the restaurant. At the entrance of the restaurant, he greeted him from a long distance away, and the butler responded quickly to the message. I read the comments before saying that they are very enthusiastic about foreigners. I think there is a high probability that the British are not good at English, and they can’t communicate with us^_^ In short, this is a very pleasant experience and it is worth the money. If you don't want to experience more hotels in Maldives, I really want to stay at the Radisson next time^_^
