Our stay at the he Ramada was one of the best hotel experiences we have enjoyed. The room amenities are outstanding the kitchenette is fully stocked, dishwasher microwave, washing machine, dryer, excellent shower and vanity. The bed and beddings is very comfortable.
Our greeting at reception as well as a seamless check-in and checkout were very much appreciated!
Kudos to front of office and housekeepers! Ramada Wellington has set the bar very high .

The breakfast is good. The bread, fruit and juice are all great. The room is more business-like. There is a slope at the entrance, but the view is good.
The bakery around in the early morning is very high-end for office workers.
Room was pretty clean on arrival, staff on check in very friendly. Does not mention that parking is $25 per day. This should be clear when booking as specifically booked this hotel due to parking being advertised. Hotel also has a 15% earthquake rating which again is not mentioned in advert. Luckily no earthquake and we live to write this review!!
Finally no power outlet next to the bed which was very inconvenient and not a fan of 2 in 1 body wash / shampoo as never works well as a shampoo!
A hotel for the location really. Perfect for an early morning flight. The view out the windows to the construction area below isn't great, but you don't stay here for the views. Nice smooth check-in and check-out, even at 5am.

My daughter and I stayed for four nights during our five-day trip to Wellington, and the hotel met all my expectations. First, its central location is incredibly convenient, right across from the Old Bank. There's a bus stop downstairs, making it easy to get to the airport and train station, and most attractions are within walking distance. Second, it was clean, spacious, and quiet. Being on the 21st floor, the air and sunlight were lovely, and we slept very well. Third, the room was equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and basic tableware, allowing us to prepare simple meals. All in all, I highly recommend it.

The room is very tidy and big, even there is no parking available but the staff showed me a free space along the road to park overnight.
There is even washing machine which surprised me and it was working well.
The breakfast is good but price is 35 nzd not 19 mentioned in the trip site. I booked the room reading others' comment about the breakfast but to be honest the types of food is not so much and didnt meet my expectations.

The room was spacious, with two 1.5-meter queen-size beds and a kettle. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was plentiful. There was a fresh juice and vegetable dispenser. The location was great, right next to the pier, museums, and designer shops. Just over 100 meters away, there's a fantastic Chinese restaurant, ”Jasmine Restaurant,” which has been in business for 45 years.

Stayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite.
Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference.
Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere.
The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable.
One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in.
Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight.
Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.

In the heart of the downtown city close to the action if you like to go out in the evening. We missed the airco as it was warm on our room. We had nice view on the church next to the hotel
I had a really enjoyable stay at Copthorne Solway Park. The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The room was comfortable, the bed was great, and the facilities—especially the pool and outdoor areas—made it easy to unwind after a long day.
One small thing to note is that I did encounter a couple of insects in the room. It wasn’t a major issue, and given the rural setting it’s probably hard to avoid completely, but it’s worth mentioning.

Excellent location. Near to shopping district, short walk to harbourside. Breakfast spread is good. Check-in counter staff Dawson deserves a mention. We booked room with breakfast but their system shows room room. He got it sorted out promptly. Gym is a disappointment though. The main gym machine is broken. Can only work with free weights and treadmill

Great view of the Queen's wharf/ waterfront and good amenities (ie sauna room, kitchenette, ironing facility). Only gripe that I have would be that the hangers are affixed to the wardrobe and also the lack of bathroom/bedroom slippers)

The hotel was very close to the city centre, namely shopping shops, cable car, Te Papa National Museum, Waterfront Walk, etc! The staff were wonderful. The room was excellent. Thanks!
