The hotel is directly at the harbour and the Valparaiso Metro end-station. The restaurants in Valparaiso are in walking distance and the touristic roads with the painted houses as well. Do not expect a good breakfast ist only lower average. Personal is friendly if you dont stress them. Parking is also available direct inhouse (8700 CLP/day)

What a wonderful find in Valparaiso. We stayed 3 nights at this small, boutique style hotel with spacious rooms and arty interesting designs throughout the hotel. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and spectacular views of Valparaiso from the rooftop bar. Breakfast is included and offers everything you could want including eggs cooked to order. The staff are friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge. Well done Casa Galos and thanks for a great stay. Highly recommended.

This 4 star hotel offers all the comfort you need at a good price. I paid about USD 55 including a good breakfast. It’s not flashy, but it is clean and spacious and has nice views over the harbour. It’s within walking distance to the bus station and all the local sights. Also, the wifi is good. My only (minor) complaint is that the shower is over the bath, however there is a hand rail to steady you as you climb in and out. I would choose to stay there again.

From the moment we arrived at Casa Higueras we were made feel welcome. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful…..something we discovered is consistent with all Chileans we met. The boutique hotel is ideal located in the middle of the charming town with easy access to all the sites and attractions. The rooms are spacious, well appointed with views across the port and towards Viña del Mar and beyond. The facilities are excellent with a fabulous restaurant serving exquisite food for dinner and breakfast. The outdoor infinity pool and health spa are not to be missed at the end of a long day. We’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
