Shangu was a long time to come to Labrang Temple, the location is close to the white tower, in a quiet alley, quiet in the middle of noisy. Before we arrived at the hotel, we received a call asking about our dinner preference and meal time. After we arrived, a staff member came out to help move the luggage to the room. The hardware facilities in the room are very new and very good. There is also floor heating and instant water heater. There is a power supply, parasol and deck chair at the door of the room. It is very convenient to make tea and watch the stars at night. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and help with luggage during check-in and check-out. The restaurant is very Western style, there is a bonfire party and fireworks in the evening, which is a great experience!

One room was upgraded to an executive standard room. The only thing is that the front desk is on the second floor. You need to go up the stairs to the second floor. There are not many rooms. It is recommended to book an executive standard room. The room is large and comfortable. It is very close to Labrang Monastery, a 3-minute walk.

Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival. The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason.

The boss is very enthusiastic. The first time I stayed in this roadside stall hotel, I went to Xiahe. All the big hotels were all set. It seems that 300,000 people have come to the local area, so there is no way. The hotel has no bath towels because of the regulations.

Exclusively occupying a mountain camp, suitable for quiet, new rooms, the mattress upstairs is bigger and can be covered. The landlord uncle is very enthusiastic and simple. The scenery is amazing!
