Good location in Santa Eulalia, for me the best area of ​​Ibiza if you are looking to go with your partner or family. The breakfast was excellent! Although if I had to give a suggestion, it would be that they put fresh orange juice. The check in was great, they had availability and they gave us the room before the hour. For check out, they had rooms available and made us pay €10 an hour from 12 until we left. We have a baby and we needed the room until after lunch to take him changed to the airport. I understand that if there is no availability, they don't do it... or that if you want to leave at 6 pm, they charge you something, but for a short time it seems ridiculous to me. I have an accommodation, and as long as there is availability it is not difficult for me to let my guests leave later.

2nd stay here in this beautiful hotel. We booked direct with free cancellation. Upgraded to a huge suite when we arrived with separate lounge 2 terraces! What an amazing treat! Also came back after day of relaxing by the pool to a bottle of cava and a note to say thank you for returning! Really appreciate theses perks, makes it feel special. The actual hotel is beautiful, no kids which makes it such a calm quiet retreat. The pool on roof amazing. No rush for a sunbed, always a bed or cabana available whatever time you get up there. Breakfast is so delicious and the choice is out of this works, we would sit for a good hour and leisurely enjoy the food and ambiance. Beds are huge and very comfortable views in all rooms are sea view. The staff here are so attentive but not overbearing. Will help with anything from bits needed for room to restaurant recommendations. Lovely happy helpful people. I really cant wait to return, hopefully in September! We stayed here for 5 nights in a cool corner room. The room was small, but decently comfortable. The air conditioning struggled to get below a certain temperature and it seemed the thermostat did not actually reflect the room temperature. The huge ocean front deck was amazing! There was a large outdoor couch, coffee table, lounge chair, and arm chair. The lamp that was provided did not work (apparently the plug outside was broken) but they brought us one of those portable table lamps from the restaurant when we decided to order room service and eat out there. Service is friendly and definitely well-meaning but it seems they are either understaffed or just need a little more training to be up to 5 star standards. It wasn’t a dealbreaker though. We had a chance to try the new beach club and it’s great! Food was excellent and so was the service. The beach itself was okay (a lot of seaweed floating and rocky). The location itself was really great! The town it’s in has a lot to see and do with a lot of shops and restaurants. There is a boardwalk along the beach that’s super popular for strolling along and runs the length of the town. We had a car so we were able to easily drive around to visit the other towns on the island and visit the different markets. It’s not the best W hotel we have stayed in but I think there is a lot of potential. If you are going to be in Ibiza it’s a good choice!

I booked 4 nights at the Melia to chill and relax. Prior to arrival i emailed and asked if the Junior Suites (only a small price to upgrade when booking hence choosing this category) were all on higher floors but got no response to this question, a bland 'your requests have been noted' even though I did not make a request was emailed back! On checking in late evening I queried the allocated room number starting with a zero and was told it wasn't ground floor but one and half up. Mmm, it was on the first floor up 9 steps with no lift access. I wasn't asked if I was ok with no lift access. The room was lovely, modern style, well equipped, Rituals toiletries, beautiful bedlinen. I had views of sunrise which were stunning. The bed was unfortunately like sleeping on concrete but after speaking to reception a mattress topper was added which improved the comfort. There were no bathrobes/slippers in the room which I thought was just an oversight. Again I spoke to reception and they said you had to request them?? Bizarre as Jet2 advertise the room as having bathrobe and slippers. It was advertised as a Junior Suite, these should have been placed in the room prior to arrival in my opinion. Whilst there is a double locking system on the bedroom doors there is no security chain or peep hole. The location of the hotel is excellent, around 10/15 minutes walk to the main area in Santa Eulalia. Much improvement could be made around the food offering. All quite basic and limited. Even the croissants at breakfast didn't feel fresh. Only fruit juice available was orange. In the evening I noticed there was no ice cream choice (basic) and when I asked I was told that strawberry and chocolate were available. Ok could I have that please. My request arrived and I didn't recognise the chocolate serving. The taste was very unusual and not recognisable. I enquired with staff and was told there was no chocolate so they gave me this which I was told was coffee and something else.....I found this unacceptable. It was put in front of me with no communication or explanation and not what I ordered. I asked to speak to the manager but their apologies and goodwill gesture of refunding my bottle of water was conveyed to me by the lovely staff member. On more than one occasion there was only one waiting member of staff who worked constantly clearing tables, fixing the broken coffee machine etc. I had two wonderful treatments at the Thai Spa within the hotel. Both were given to me by Marlin who was excellent. The public areas are well kept and I loved the modern style of the hotel (perhaps with the exception of the bright yellow sculpture in reception but that's personal choice). In summary I hope Melia improve this hotel, it has a fab location, wonderful staff, excellent rooms, just some areas needing attention and improved communication.

Excellent customer service, great location and good apartment. Any questions or query were dealt with in a friendly manner. We felt very welcome, we had issues with flights and they kindly let us stay an extra night at a discounted rate. We was allowed an hour later check out time. The apartment was in the heart of the town and not far from anything. They had a cafe that opens from 8.30-4pm where you can buy breakfast. I did not use the pool but my friends did and they enjoyed it and if you ask at reception they provide pool towels. We had a 2 bed apartment but it was opposite the lift so it got noisy at times and had to wear earplugs. There is no bathroom fan so condensation would form in the ceiling and drip water and made the bathroom floor wet in the accessible shower, this would be the only hazard that needs improving. There was a balcony where you can just about see the marine front but it was nice to have one. The rooms was made every day and bins emptied. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back here again.

We have just returned from a week holiday at this hotel as a couple with a young 7 month old baby. The hotel is lovely and we really liked the pool and outside bar area. There were plenty of sun-beds and never too busy which was great for our little girl to have a crawl around. The drinks were good but on the pricey side when compared to other places close by. I would say the clientele was mainly couples but with a young baby it was a really great hotel. All the staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. I see on previous reviews about rude members of staff but we had the opposite experience and found all the staff lovely! The hotel is in a great location right on the marina with a number of bars and restaurants very close by. We also walked to the beach one day which was a nice cove if you turn left out the hotel you can walk along a coastal path to a bit of a quieter beach which was lovely. We had a sea view room which was nice- slightly small with the travel cot up but plenty of room for what we needed. Breakfast was nice with lots of selection- previous reviews have said about the breakfast being cold but we didn’t have this problem. Can’t comment on food in the evening as we stayed in bed and breakfast basis and went out for evening meals to the plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Overall we would recommend this hotel and thank all the staff for a lovely first holiday away with our baby :-)
