If you are visiting France and want to explore unique places, you have to stop by Cordes-sur-Ciel. It's a wonderful village located in the Tarn department, in the region of Occitania, Southern France. When you approach the place by car, it's as if a massive hill, full of medieval-era buildings, appears out of nowhere. And once you reach the top, the views are simply breathtaking. the village is renowned for its winding and enchanting streets. Its unique location and architectural style make it one of the most distinctive medieval towns in France The Hotel Raymond VII is situated in the heart of this medieval village, dating back to the 13th century. It offers an authentic and cozy atmosphere, with its interiors preserving the original charm: French ceilings, exposed beams, and warm colors. Staying there felt like stepping into a castle from Game of Thrones. I was particularly fond of my room, adorned with a red carpet, two king-size beds, and furniture that exuded a timeless ambiance reminiscent of bygone eras. And most important of all: the breathtaking views. Being situated near the top of this grand hill, when you open the windows of your room, you are greeted with awe-inspiring vistas of the French countryside: sprawling green landscapes, clusters of trees, and picturesque plantations. It feels like gazing at the most exquisite painting come to life. Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel solely for the fact that it transports you back in time, offering a remarkable experience of staying in the past. It truly is a remarkable and unforgettable experience.
