It really is an old Chateau and is located on a hill with gardens, forest and a lovely view. Room we stayed in was small but comfy and complete. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. The staff was very tolerant and helpful with us ordering dinner with no French language skills. The breakfast was excellent.
