Our stay at Blounts Court Farm bed & breakfast was lovely from start to finish. With my wife a Coeliac sufferer (allergic to gluten) we always struggle when away, so it was a delight to be in contact with Caroline, our lovely host at the Blounts Court Farm putting our mind at rest prior to our arrival. On arrival we made the short drive to the property via a narrow lane, with our first view of the accommodation a great one, a lovely farm house, in very tidy gardens. Caroline met us at the door, and warmly welcomed us in and showed us to our very comfortable room, a double bedded (four poster) room. The room was superb, with a view over the driveway, overlooking the chicken coop (where the tasty breakfast eggs come from) The room was very clean, clearly Caroline spent a long time making it Covid safe. In the room was fresh milk and drinking water, a very nice touch, to go with the in-room tea/coffee facilities. The bed was very comfortable, firm, but not too firm, and the sheets were very nice, as were the pillows and cushions. All in all the room was very comfortable, clean and a very nice place to spend the next two days. Breakfast was included and was WOW! As I mentioned earlier food can be a problem, with allergies..but Caroline didn’t disappoint. We had selected our breakfast choices upon arrival and enjoyed a superb breakfast and start to our two lovely days in the West Country. I mustn’t forget to also mention the fabulous restaurant recommendations that Caroline gave us, we had dinner at two fabulous restaurants, the Pepper Mill in Devizes and the Al Boccon Di’Vino in Tilshead, both were fantastic, but that’s another review! We have an electric vehicle and really appreciated being able to top-up our charge overnight, which made our second and final day at the Blounts Court Farm a stress free day. In summary, Blounts Court Farm was a superb Choice, Caroline and her husband (so sorry I forgot his name) are amazing hosts, who have truly nailed the art of hospitality. 100% you must stay.
