We have stayed in three different boutique hotels on Salina, and this is without doubt the best of the three. All of them had wonderful views, lovely rooms and their own special charms, but the Ravesi tops with Five stars for everything. The views are breathtaking, from our room (14) and from the main terrace. The hotel is family owned and has been extended to create beautiful suites with sea view terraces, gorgeous contemporary furniture and interiors. The food is home made and really Thoughtfully chosen breakfast is out of this world .. try the marmalade omg. There are hidden terraces and shaded seating areas, a fantastic bar and mixologist. The gardens are just beautiful. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. They have electric scooters so you can easily travel around the island, eat a simple but wonderful lunch then return and fall into the stunning infinity pool to cool off before a local beer or two. There are good restaurants at Santa Marina especially Porto Bello a little more expensive but absolutely worth it. If you are looking for somewhere to totally unwind for five days this is the place to try. Most of their guests return because it’s just magical.
