Sumatakyo Onsen Asahisanso
5/53 Reviews
We are a couple (in our 50s) and stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. I was very satisfied with Asahi Sanso (although the building is showing its age, haha) due to the manager's wonderful kindness, hospitality, delicious food, and fun conversation. The hot springs at the inn are indoors, but the hot springs that make your skin feel so smooth and slippery are the best.I've been to many hot springs, but this was the most impressive. I also enjoyed the beauty bath (open-air bath) as it was only a 1 minute walk away! For the meal, we had local vegetables, a special hot pot of wild boar hotpot (on the first day), and a duck hotpot (on the second day), and we ate to our fill. It was very delicious. The location is very convenient as it is close to the Japanese serow monument and the beauty bath. In addition, the host introduced us to various sightseeing spots in the Sumata Gorge Onsen area, even though we had no plans. We walked around Nagashima Dam, the hiking course at Kojo Station, Horai Bridge, and saw many suspension bridges and bridges. I was able to thoroughly enjoy the scenery and nature during the crossing. This is an inn where the manager's hospitality is the best, and his interaction and smile will double the memories you have at the hot spring resort and the goodness of Sumatakyo Onsen.

11 The late autumn leaves also ended, the wife and daughter, elderly parents 5 people disturbed. Since check-in was Sunday, I thought that it was quiet in the hot spring town of sukune, and the bus stop was crowded, and the parking lot was almost full, and it was quite crowded. The front desk is narrow and the charge who received the check-in is the style to guide the room as it is, so if there is a guest, you will be waiting quite a bit. The room used is 1 floor 2 room in another building. I told you that there was an elderly person who was inconvenient in the foot, and I was able to move to the public bath restaurant. Thank you. 10 Washroom, toilet and bath are included in tatami Japanese room, wash is spacious and easy to use, equipped with washlet toilet and large refrigerator. The cleaning situation was good, and the futon was a type laid on the cushion and the bed was comfortable. The large bath has an open air of about 5 people in the inner bath that puts 10 people, and the spring quality is alkaline spring. There was a change of men and women in the time zone where dinner was served, and the boy who entered the evening felt a little wider. The hot water was null and tidy, and the sulfur smell that I didn't feel in the inner hot water was just drifting in the open air. The meal was a restaurant that entered the ground foot and 2 places in the tatami mats, and I 々 was a meal place (table seat) in the morning and evening. The dish is a local dish style centered on the mountain, and it is a good menu with no sashimi (with sashimi of the mass). The salty baked amago was especially delicious. The restaurant staff is an Asian woman in a work clothes uniform, but there are many people who are fluent in Japanese and often notice, and there was nothing wrong. There is no convenience store around, and the drink in the room is used as a store or vending machine, but the price in the building which tends to be expensive is very conscientious This was a level that was almost the same as the city. The next morning, I finished breakfast early and went out from the inn to the dream suspension bridge on foot, but there was a Monday morning, and there was no waiting time (no sign of hundreds of meters around!) I was able to return to check out safely. There is a cold tea service at the entrance of the bath, and there are small shops and game corners. It is a very effective inn as a hot spring inn in the mountains. Thank you.
