Azuma Ryokan
3.8/54 Reviews
It is located near Kitakata City Hall and Ramen Hall. A two-story inn, staying in a Japanese-style room on the second floor. There is a reception set in a large Japanese-style room. Equipment and equipment are in place. In particular, the retro-style two-door freezer matches the Japanese-style room. The toilet is shared, but it is also popular with women because it is separate for men and women. It's not a hot spring, but there is a large communal bath on the first floor. I stayed without meals, but there are restaurants such as ramen around, so I don't have to worry about eating. It was a good inn with cospa.

I visited Kitakata for the ramen. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the hotel, but I was disappointed. I was surprised when I stayed there! ! Aren't the baths and meals wonderful! ! ! I never thought there was an inn like this in Kitakata. . . Hot springs contain a lot of salt and are moist and warm. Recommended during the cold season. The shop also sold mountain salt that can be harvested in this area. This is a must-have. Best of all, the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. Some of the employees have some quirks, so if you're not used to interacting with them, you might get stressed out. Overall it was a good stay.
Garden Hotel Kitakata

It was convenient about 5 minutes walk from the station. The hotel entrance is 2 floor climbing the stairs, so it may be a little inconvenient if there are many luggage. The room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable with a hard semi-double. There was an outlet insertion port on the pillow, so it was convenient to put it nearby while charging the smartphone. There was a 500ml PET bottle of water in the room. I thought it was suspicious because there was no label, but the lid was closed properly, so I had it as drinking water. I thought it was good to be able to be relieved immediately if there was a label or a drinking water.
Sasaya Ryokan

This is a historical monument from the Taisho era. I'm glad I had the opportunity to stay and admire the traditional Japanese architecture. The owner of the house has kerosene lamps to provide warmth. I was a little afraid of the smell of kerosene lamps, so I only turned it on and off. The bathroom is on the first floor in the form of a traditional large bath. There is a delicious Xiangfu Ramen shop and a large fresh food supermarket nearby, so you don’t have to worry about eating. Grandma’s warm human touch is so missed. There are many historical buildings nearby worth seeing.
