Top rated hotels in Stockholm

Ibis Styles Stockholm Odenplan
4.1/569 Reviews
The hotel is located not exactly in the center of tourist place (20-30 mins), but very closed by train station, trem, and even metro, and its quite affordable compared to other hotel in the center ( gamla stan) the staffs are nice, the room are OK since cabin rooms are in the basement it looks quite dark, and there’s window but its just small one, the room is bigger than other room and very closed to the lounge for breakfast and 24 hrs coffe/tea lounge. Stockholm is very beautiful city, you mostly won’t stay at your room, so for that this hotel its perfectly OK
Nordic Light Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for three nights from the 3rd-6th June 2022’ Room- When we arrived into our room, it had a very comfortable double bed, sofa bed, good sized TV, good sized bathroom and plenty of charging points to charge my electrical items. I also liked all the Nordic toiletries and the design of the room. Facilities- Whilst at the hotel, we had breakfast in the main hotel restaurant.- Lykke. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of continental items (meats, cheeses), a few hot items and a good selection of breads and pastries. As this hotel offers free breakfast with their room rate, I felt the breakfast offering was very good at this hotel. On our first night, we had a few drinks in the hotel bar and it had a good selection of local beers and Gins. Location- This hotel gets a 10/10 for location- It’s near all the major sites, attractions, shopping etc. The hotel is next door to the Stockholm Central station where you can catch the Arlanda Express to the Airport. It takes around 18 minutes and trains depart every 20 minutes. The Gamla Stan (the old town) is around a 20 minute walk from the hotel and there’s plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. If you love ABBA, you should go to the Abba Museum. The Museum is located on the Djurgarden island and it’s around a 35 minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively as Stockholm is surrounded by water, you can easily pop on one of the ferries to the other islands. The ferries are frequent and are reasonably priced. I would also recommend going to the Vasa Museum. It’s about a five minute walk from the Abba Museum and it’s very interesting learning about the history of the boat- It was epic. Lastly I would recommend doing a Archipelago boat trip around Stockholm. The tour takes around 2-3 hours and costs around 345 SEK per person. Dining- Stockholm is also blessed to have a great number of restaurants in the city. If you are interested in looking for a yummy informal Nordic meal, I would recommend going to Bistro Bestick. The restaurant is around a five minute walk from the hotel and the food is fabulous- You should try the******** Loin and the Truffle Crème Burlee. If you are looking for a contemporary modern restaurant, I would recommend going to Rolfs Kok. It’s around a 12 minute walk to this restaurant from the hotel. Whilst the food is pricey, it’s definitely worth having at least one dinner here. The food is wonderful and you should try the Beef Entrecôte and the Ox Cheek- It was so good! Overall, I loved my stay at the hotel & Stockholm and if I ever came back to this city, I would consider staying here.
Queen's Hotel by First Hotels

The hotel is located right in the main pedestrian street. The room we had was neat, beds were pretty comfy as well and there was no noise heard from the street even though we were staying in a room on the first floor. The breakfast was basic continental one. They will also pack you a breakfast to go if you leave early (we got a a couple of sandwiches and a few apples). The reception staff is nice and helpful (especially Nick). I will definitely stay there again during my next city break in Stockholm.
Best Western Plus Sthlm Bromma
4.3/586 Reviews
Stayed here several days with our tour group. It is located out of downtown Stockholm right beside the Bromma airport, domestic like only. It is right beside a large mall and businesses, groceries, liqour, sporting stores, you name it, so lots of shopping if you desire. Checkin was effortless, staff were friendly and helpful. They have an old funky elevator is used, with a cockpit theme, sort of near and nobody else used so I could go up and down without waiting! Room was average in a sense, the bed was the usual double twin, comfortable and I slept well. Bathroom, shower has the half glass partition and you have large squeege to push the water from you shower back. Only thing, the carpet in room I did not like and it had stains on it. Has onsite bar and breakfast/restaurant. Food was good no issues. This is mainly a business hotel I think, for people overnight in and out.
Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

Great hotel with friendly staff and great facilities. I missed a pool but the rest surely made up for it. Very close to the station so made for easy access. Breakfast was divine.
Crystal Plaza Hotel

Very friendly welcome. It explains where the breakfast is and asks when room service should clean the room. Doesn't happen automatically or every day. Beautiful hotel building, located in the city center. Our room has a balcony facing the street and is located on the fourth floor. Summer is not suitable for sensitive people because you have to ventilate, but tuned vehicles that often go through the city all night can become very noisy. Nearby clubs and bars play good bass on Fridays and Saturdays. The windows were closed and it was quiet. Unfortunately, our room had a dirty carpet, smelled of old damp socks, and the windows had to be kept open. The size of the double room is okay. Comfortable bed. Clean sheets. There are few channels on the TV, and the remote control is dirty and sticky. The bathroom is large and the shower leaks, so the whole floor is always wet. There is a lot of mold in the shower room, not to be missed. Unfortunately it was not cleaned properly. Only from the made-up bed can you see room service including room service. The bathroom was neither cleaned nor vacuumed in the room. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the area. The next subway station is about 10 minutes walk away. Remember, Stockholm is hilly and the sidewalks are not always flat. The hotel has a Chinese restaurant that serves breakfast. The breakfast buffet is poor. Slice sausage, cheese, jam, bread, rolls. Well, the hot sausages and scrambled eggs are always moist and not well done, not particularly like the meatballs of La Cote Brar. At least apples and bananas have to be taken away. Bottom line: I have seen several hotels and know the price range. In Stockholm, you must make sure that the hotel has windows! If the carpet is clean and smell-free, and the bathroom is clean, I will give 8 out of 10 points despite the large amount of breakfast and poor breakfast, so it is only 3/10 left and it is not recommended.
