This is such a special experience. We booked one night here in order to do the full elephant experience and then the elephant wake up in the morning. The elephant experience itself is phenomenal. You really get quality time feeding them, walking with them in the jungle, bathing them and just seeing them around the property. The bamboo raft is also nice and the lunch by the waterfall too. Overall just a great experience. The room itself is okay. The bathroom isn’t well laid out with the shower being in the same space as the toilet so water gets everywhere. The outlets were also finicky making it hard to charge devices. But for one night it did the trick - we stayed here because we wanted to do the elephant wake up which was a fun way to start the day with the elephants coming to your room to eat bananas!

This accommodation cannot be compared with normal hotels. I stayed in the room on the edge of the river. The room was very primitive. There was no air conditioner, no signal, no WiFi, no phone, no towel, toothbrush, slippers, only shower gel, bottled water and an electric fan. The mountain road is really difficult to walk, especially on rainy days. My elephant call that morning was cancelled because the water level was too high for the elephants to come over on a rainy day. The host is not very professional, so I have to take the initiative to ask. The call was cancelled early and no one notified me. I was waiting in the room stupidly because there was no phone in the room, no WiFi, and the mobile phone had no signal in the village room. If you have anything, you have to walk to the reception to ask. Long distances are dirt roads. In fact, it is much more convenient to live in the mountains. But I still think it's worth it. Although not an enjoyable experience. But it's a really special process. I chose to take a bath with an elephant for 1200 baht per person. It was fun. This is an elephant conservation purpose. There will be a chance to go again.

A great experience, to experience the elephant wake up I really like it. The hotel also provides many activities, including bathing the elephants. It is recommended to arrive early in the afternoon so you can experience many interactive activities with elephants. Remember to bring your own toiletries and hair dryer. The amount of water is very small and it may get cold in the middle of the night. Bring some warm clothes.

if you are planning to go to the elepant camp, then its a good palce to stay in this hotel, as you dont have to wake up very early and finish the whole trip very tired. Nay(the host) was friendly and helpful, and he's the local and owned this property(hotel). he gave us a few options for the activities to do in mae win area, such as bamboo rafting, feeding and bathing elephant, learning the procedures to the rice growing. it was fun and convenient to go, because nay drove us to those places and arranged the local tour guide for us. my 5 years old kid was loving everything there. I also love the coffee there, well made. But i have to say, there was only one staff there, she cooked and cleaned everything. I had to talk to her through the translation app, but it was still difficult to communicate, i assumed she was a bit new for everything. apart from that, the view of this hotel was nice and the host was professional.oh, and we got a bit issue when we were leaving hotel, the host kindly gave us time to stay a bit longer. so here to say thanks:)

We definitely wanted to experience the elephant barking once, but we were so excited that we got up early to wait for the elephant. It was really cute and could eat a whole bunch of bananas at one time. The staff told us that we could peel it open and feed it slowly, and take pictures by the way. . Although the park is a little far from the city, the environment is quiet and you can reserve a full-day activity with a two-way city transfer. The nights in February can be quite chilly, so be sure to bring a light jacket. The staff can generally communicate in English, and one of the mahouts can also speak a little Chinese, which is amazing.
