Djerba Midun Homestays

For our first visit to Djerba, we chose the Seabel Rym beach hotel based on recommendations on Tripadvisor. We can only recommend this hotel, the sea is beautiful, the beach is well maintained, seaweed washes up almost every day, which is something to be reckoned with anywhere on Djerba, but the hotel solves it as far as possible by cleaning. The food is varied, the advantage is that it is also possible to eat on the beach, by the pools or in the air-conditioned hall. The evening programs were incomparably the best we've ever experienced, this is how I imagine fun on vacation, Emir is a perfect dancer :). I am quite disappointed by the quality of the rooms in this hotel advertised as a 4 star. The staff and manager are lovely and very helpful. The hotel itself is very beautiful and well located. But no air conditioning even in the executive suite even though I paid an extra €50 for 3 nights. The 1st night in a standard room was not worthy of a 4 star. Damaged bathtub, no support for the shower head, no telephone, a poor quality mattress, questionable cleanliness, in short, not what I expected. The restaurant is simple and the dishes are always the same, but it's good. For my part, I will not go back. Too bad once again the hotel is beautiful but the rooms are not great.

We were a company of 10 people with 4 children and we were relatively satisfied with our stay. The rooms were cleaned every day, the pools and the beach are clean. The food is good, as dinner and lunch are varied every day. The animation is top. I just didn't like the rooms, which are on 2 floors, they are not comfortable for small children. This year we have also booked in the same hotel. I don't think it will be this good again.

Royal Garden Palace is a great choice for anyone seeking the calm , the rest , delicious food and professional services..This hotel still keeps the ethics of tourism services and ensures to provide the right role in an excellent manner to achieve the target and match clients expectations. The reception team is helpful, smiling and effective in clients needs. This team is managed / well trained by MR Faysal which is always available to make sure the process is respected and smoothly implemented. Anis , Bechir , Sihem : Bravo 👏. Restaurant services are Excellent 👌 under the supervision of MR Badii , An example of discipline, punctuality and perseverance. Clean hotel , Fresh and much variety meals , well maintained, remarkable Garden , huge to walk, practice sport and to feel comfortable during stay. Great hotel, good stay with the family, especially for the entertainment team, they are very welcoming I had a lot of fun with my parents and sisters. I recommend this hotel a lot. You won't regret it, especially since the rooms are very clean and the food is wonderful Thank me Later

Don‘t expect anything more than 3 stars. The 3 stars clearly show in every aspect of the hotel. Food/ room/ entertainment. Food is a variety of random food that seems to be made of left overs from day before or lunch. No real theme or line is visible. You won’t starve to death but you aren’t excited for the meals. Which is however okay considering 3 stars. The coffee is delicious. room. Out of 7 days there was 3 days no electricity, the hotel wants you to wait in the room for the handyman. we wasted many hours sitting in a warm room waiting. Unfortunately the balcony door wasn’t secure and more time had to be wasted, waiting to get this repaired. The cleaning staff does their best to supply fresh towels daily and cleans regularly. However the condition of the shower is questionable & partly broken. Pool is clean but not in best condition. Prices for a save differ. We paid 1€ per day when another person paid 2Dinar per day. Working staff expect a lot of tips for their service. Specially at the bar and restaurant. If you want more than a 0.1l plastic cup, you gotta tip generously and frequently. Still no real dealbreaker but nothing that makes you excited. 3 stars. What was most annoying was the entertainment. There was simply no real Animation team. They walk around here and there and try to sell you Tombola tickets for 5€, or sell you shirts or drinks. The frequent program like darts or other games are just done with no real joy or even good equip, and the animation team doesn’t seem to enjoy the games at all. The evening shows are terrible. Very boring, no variety. Comedy and dance. You don’t miss out by going to bed early. Within the hotel there are tons of extra expenses waiting for you: Spa (Ali) and a tour guide (Fathi) Beware of these guys they are the ones for the „scams“ who will try to sell you absolute overpriced trips and spa offers. Same with souvenirs at the beach or the lobby shop or the nearby supermarket. They will do anything to make you believe you got a good offer while they rub their hands. Best is to buy souvenirs from the airport shop where it’s absolutely ridiculously cheap compared to the boutique. Make sure to bring enough sun Sunscreen, since they sell it for 25€ per small bottle. Overall you won’t die but it’s nothing special

The best place on earth to rest, relax and have some summer fun. You are welcomed from the very entrance by helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen serves all variety of dishes. The pool are is well prepared and equiped. Everyday you can find aultitude of difference activities provided by the wonderful entertainment team. Adults and children can always find something interesting to do. You can leave your little ones under the care of kids club and enjoy aerobics, stretching, Zumba, beach volleyball or beach football every day. It's the perfect place with perfect people working there to make your vacation experience in Djerba unforgettable. Only in Calimera Tati Beach.
