Very comfortable hotel. I was hesitant to spend this much on a hotel in such a rural area, but I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had a king room with a comfortable bed and small couch. Bathroom was clean and it was nice to have the fridge and microwave. Convenient to the hospital and Aldi. Breakfast was standard with plenty of variety. I enjoyed both the indoor pool and the fitness center. Wi-Fi was a bit slow. Would definitely stay there again.

We rented a room at the Franklin motel we paid for one night and then decided to stay another night and paid the next morning at 753am - At 4:30 p.m. that day we were called by the front desk and we're told we did not pay and needed to pay immediately - as I was explaining I had both receipts and I most certainly did pay - someone was pounding on our door - the lady on the phone found our payment and apologized - we opened the door and the lady demanded payment I explained that she needed to go speak with the lady at the front desk because she found our payment and we DID pay - she argued with me and saying I was lying and I needed to pay. I closed the door, got my shoes on and took both receipts to the front desk where both women were standing and I told her I didn't appreciate being called a liar and accused of not paying she then said I cursed at her and that was very rude - I did not curse as thats not something I do - I asked which curse word I said then and after pausing to think of something she says F*** - Unbelievable not only was I accused of not paying she was mad she was wrong and wanted to call me out for something else - I would not recommend this place simply due to the rude staffing lady - Side note - I'm a smoker the room Is non smoking - I've gone to my car to smoke everytime disposing of the butts in the bin they have designated for that - Anxious to see what they say when we check out since they are butt hurt they were wrong (no pun intended )
