AAiqinhaixingxingThe room was very nice, the boss was very nice, and he also provided a rich breakfast. It is also very convenient to go to various tourist attractions. It's also very close to the city. The overall feeling of staying here is very relaxing!
MMeng En MatthiasFantastic stay. This is also one of the closest accommodations to the visitor centre.
Absolutely cosy vibes with the wooden interior and balcony. Space is big with lots of room to navigate, and have separate areas for to do different things.
Lounge area has games (and heating, of course) if you are locked in by the weather which I thought was a nice touch. There is also a library of DVDs for you to borrow from if you’d like (lots of kids friendly titles). You can also see cradle mountain from the lounge area.
Kitchenette was also well furnished with sufficient items for us to do our cooking (you’d know that there aren’t much amenities in the area, please arrive prepared), including salt, pepper, and oil which other places may not actually didn’t provide in a kitchenette.
SShiElaineIt is a cabin in the national park. The room is very cold when you enter. You need to light a fire for several hours to warm it up. It is too hot to sleep at night. The heating lamp in the toilet is broken and it is very cold to go to the toilet. The bedroom is on the second floor and the toilet is on the first floor next to the door, which is a bit inconvenient. The water from the tap is yellow and it is still yellow after a long time. No bottled water is provided.
TTIt's low season. I saw only 2 groups of guests (2 people per group) including mine during our stay. We occupied the best room type (2-bedroom) with kitchenette, hot shower, heater in the dining room, TV, heater to the bedding which is a hearty touch in such a cold area. It can accommodate 7 to 8 people in the room. Very quiet, we only heard waves at the beach which's at the opposite side of the main road about the front of our house. I read many negative comments on the male host (Scott?) before our stay, but our actual experience is that he's ok, we didn't feel anything bad about him. He is kind to advise us the best location to watch stars and southern lights.
The worst thing that we must mention is the poor quality of water which is brownish yellow. So we dared not use the tap water for cooking or drinking. This is very undesirable.
GGuest UserThe room completely exceeded our expectations, and the reception was very friendly. Initially, I thought the hotel looked a bit old from the official pictures, but once we checked in, I found it to be excellent. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, furnishings, and overall environment. The location is great, less than 200 meters from the Visitor Center, and it's only a 3-minute drive to Peppers for dinner. It's also a 2-minute drive to the Cradle Mountain center. In the evenings, we even saw animals outside our room, which was a very special experience. We visited in autumn, and wood was already provided in the room, so burning charcoal in the stove ourselves was a lot of fun. All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely choose this place again when we return to Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park.
GGuest UserWe were group of 8 included elderly and teens.
Booked for 2 cabins, sleep for 8
Nice and comfy place
Comes with kitchen, living room, dining table with heater.
About 30mins drive to cradle mountain summit.
GGuest UserWe loved our beautiful and very comfortable room in this characterful property. Very clear instructions provided for easy self check in. Continental breakfast including delicious fresh fruit salad and riendly service.
JJinlingwutongThe apartment is a single-family house with a sea view, a good environment, quiet and comfortable. The apartment is fully equipped, and there is a supermarket in the town with a wide variety of products, which can definitely satisfy your own cooking. One night is not enough.
ZZHANSHENGA good environment means that the landlord must agree to the house, which is not suitable for Chinese food. You can stop on the side of the road. The only advantage is that it is very close to the beach at night and you can see the little penguins.
MMike WK WongA lovely farm stay with unforgettable experience. The unit is huge and spacious with basic ingredients provided like rice, cereal, pasta, granola and a bottle of fresh milk. Coffee machine and coffee capsule provided as well. Kitchen utensils and cookery ware are complete. The farm owner, Jane was very friendly and helpful. I arrived late evening for check in, she was very kind to point us the direction to our unit in the huge farm. The view around the farm is very scenic surrounded by sheep, alpacas and bulls and etc. I will definitely return if I come to Tasmania.
