I stay at this park regularly and was a bit upset when l arrived this time to find l had been booked into a cabin towards the back of the park when l had booked and paid for a cabin with a lake view. The lady on the desk explained that there had been an error on the booking site saying that there was a water view cabin available at the time l booked when there wasn't any left. She then explained that the manager had rang and explained this to the people affected. I never received any phone calls or messages. I didn't receive any refund for the mix up and was told l had been given an upgrade to the cabin at the back of the park. The cabin we were given looked at the road, had a broken tile in bathroom in front of the shower, one light in lounge room not working, a broken glass in the cupboard, dirty cutlery in drawer and a TV that was so tiny other than that it was the same as the room with the lake view so how was it an upgrade ?
Unexpectedly comfortable! The room is spacious, the kitchenware is complete, and the bedding is comfortable. It is so comfortable to enjoy the massage chair and bathtub after climbing the mountain! There are often dozens of ducks playing in the small pond outside the French window, kangaroos jumping on the lawn from morning to night, and flocks of parrots and beautiful birds.
Amazing central location, great room, polite staff, clean room and area , even tho there’s a sharing bathroom. Please guys, since is winter in Melbourne, add a heater inside the room, cause it was freezing. Having a fan that gives only fresh air, on winter season, doesn’t make any sense. Thank you ! Great experience! Not recommended if you have a car. I had to pay 15$ extra for the parking.
Rude receptionist, not a smile, didn't respond to my ”goodbye”
No quality of service.
They charge you for the smallest service, even to keep a bag.
For the price per night, you will find a better and much nicer hostel!
so good! such a nice and spacious place with anything you may need - oven, stovetop, fridge, dining table and much more. great value for money and excellent staff service even when checking in after hours. very much recommend for groups of 2-4 staying on a budget.
Really loved my stay at NRMA Halls Gap!! It’s really clean! They even had heated beds, but one side is unplugged, without a plug nearby.
There’s a car lot available right beside the villa. Makes unloading our stuff really easy and accessible.

We only had one night unfortunately, but it was a beautiful park, facilities were amazing, everything you could imagine, the kids loved it so much they have already asked when are we staying again. The staff were kind and helpful. It was only a short drive into the Main Street, easy to drive in and back again.
The kids loved the water splash park, the indoor heated pool, the bounce pillow, basketball, playground, and when we go back want to play tennis, mini golf and swimming again.
The villa was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, the 3 bedroom villa had 2 bathrooms which was fantastic, the beds were soooo comfortable, we all had a great nights sleep. The lounge was large enough for our whole family to sit comfortably and it was comfy to.
Car parking was good, enough room for two cars next to the villa.
We will definitely be returning 10/10
The room is spacious, a studio apartment that includes a large living room with a kitchen, dining area, and a balcony. There's also a small study connected to the balcony, and a separate bedroom. The bathroom is a bit small. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four-burner gas stove, and appliances include a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Pots, pans, and basic oil, salt, and condiments are all provided.
The location is very convenient, with tram lines 11 and 48 right downstairs, offering free travel within the city zone. Southern Cross Station is just four stops away. The South Wharf commercial area is also a 15-minute walk. There's a Woolworths and an Asian supermarket about 200 meters from the apartment.
If you're driving, underground parking is available with prior reservation and is basically free.
Just make sure to communicate the check-in procedure in advance if you're arriving outside of business hours.

GGuest UserIt's an old place..carpets are too old and looked unclean..Unclean beneath and beside the cots..Need a good tidy up and freshness...
Friendly staff..
Food area was well looked after..
GGuest UserFirst review I have ever written for accomodation in Australia but this one is well deserved.
I wanted something with a bit more space indoors than a typical motel as I am travelling with a toddler, so I took a leap of faith with an accomodation with not a lot of reviews, and found a hidden gem.
Tucked away towards Grampians about 30min drive away from Horsham and the main highway, is a combination of campsite and lodge.
Vast open spaces with kangaroos and other manner of wildlife, which the toddler was happy to try and interact with and run around in. Nice views of the Grampians, and zero light pollution for star gazing.
The property also have pits for campfires, children playground and a swimming pool.
The accomodation we booked is a family cabin, which turned out to be very well maintained and clean. One family bedroom with a queen bed and a view, and another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed. An open living room and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge.
The a furnished porch with clean furniture to enjoy the view and the roos with a coffee and snacks.
The only thing we had to deal with was some insects. We lured them into the bathroom with the light on and locked them in with some bug spray for about 10min. This was expected for all rural stays we have had.
Phil who checked us in was very nice and helpful, gave plenty of recommendations on whats around, and what is toddler friendly.
I will definitely come back again on the next trip to the Grampians, or drive to SA.
MMengfeifeiIn a campsite, the surrounding area is very convenient, with shops and supermarkets. The kitchen in the cabin is fully equipped and the sanitary conditions are OK. There were many kangaroos and parrots flying around. It's basically a self-service model with no service. The check-in time marked by Ctrip is wrong, and the staff gets off work at 17:00. But I left the key, so it's very convenient to check in by yourself.
AA-y-e-s-h-aCan not rate this place and experience high enough. Truely felt like being transported to another world (think living your best Beatrix Potter life) despite only being an hour away from the city. 🌸 🦜🐿️🌹🍃
The decadent interiors of the suite amongst the most beautiful grounds/garden made for the most perfect stay. The jacuzzi style tub was an absolute treat to soak in with the lounge TV perfectly within viewing, along with the log fireplace! 🔥🪵 The four poster bed was also beyond luxurious with the most breath taking views from the window.
Arina & Alex were wonderful hosts providing a fully stocked fridge (ingredients for multiple hearty farm breakfasts - eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, avocado, yoghurt, muesli, fresh orange juice, coffee/tea) along with even arriving to a freshly baked loaf of bread (still hot with butter)! 🍞 There was even mini ice-creams in the freezer. The antipasto board I’d ordered as an extra treat was also 10/10. They’d thought of everything and the place was impeccably clean.
I feel so inspired after staying at such a beautiful place to continue to replicate as many of the awe inspiring touches in both my home and routine from interior/planting inspiration to self care. Thank you for such a memorable stay. 🌟

GGuest UserLoved the stay - host came out to receive us as we arrived late at about 6pm. Saw 2 kangaroos hopping by, many cockatoos and parrots and managed to feed some with the seeds that were left in the house. The fireplace was also a unique experience.
GGuest UserThe environment is amazing. The store upgraded us to a view room for free. However, the navigation was not very accurate at first. After arriving, just contact the front desk and wait for the receptionist. 🙂
李李The hotel is located on the top of the hill with a great view. The decoration is very distinctive and the service is warm. The breakfast tastes good.
NNebbyWe booked the studio cabin, it was clean and spacious enough for 2 with parking onsite. Kitchenette is well equipped with essentials - bring your own seasoning! We enjoyed our 3 nights stay here.
